Story
Meet Macks, a 5-year-old Cattle Dog/Shepherd mix with a heart full of potential and a loving spirit. Macks was surrendered to a high-kill shelter after her previous owner passed away, and she’s now looking for a new family to give her the love and stability she deserves. Initially anxious and a bit flighty, Macks requires some time to build trust. However, once she feels secure, she becomes an incredibly affectionate and well-behaved companion. Macks is not fond of other dogs or cats, so she would do best in a home where she can be the only pet. She will thrive in a household with middle school-aged children or older, or with adults who can provide her with the patience and care she needs to feel at ease. If you're looking for a loyal and loving dog who will become deeply attached to her new family, Macks is ready to bring her devotion and warmth into your home.

Story
Meet Babitha: The Sweet, Shy Girl Who's Ready to Blossom Babitha, affectionately known as Babs, Babaliscious, or Pumpkin, is on a journey to find her forever home—a place where she can continue to grow into the loving, loyal companion we know she can be. At around 2 years old, Babitha has spent the last 3 months in foster care, and the progress she’s made so far is a testament to what a little love, patience, and kindness can do. Personality: Babitha’s journey started as a stray in a canyon, and although her early days were rough, she’s showing that with every new day, she’s becoming more confident. Her happy place? Among her furry friends—she gets along beautifully with both dogs and cats. Human interaction is where she’s still learning, but every day brings new breakthroughs. She adores her foster mom and has become quite the cuddlebug, loving head pats, belly rubs, and showering you with kisses once she trusts you. (Oh, and watch out—she’s got a quirky love for armpits and won’t hesitate to join you on your yoga mat!) Progress: While she didn’t get much human attention in her first foster home, Babitha has been steadily coming out of her shell. She’s starting to show her sweet and adoring side, particularly to those who are patient and gentle with her. With each new experience, Babitha is rising to the occasion—whether it's going on walks or runs, or simply dressing up for her next adventure. Ideal Home: Babitha is most comfortable when she’s got another dog to buddy up with and a human who’s structured and patient. Her perfect match will be someone who understands that trust takes time and is willing to give her the space to continue growing. A predictable routine and a calm environment will help this shy girl truly shine. And trust us, once she blossoms, there’s no turning back—she’ll be the loyal, loving companion you’ve been waiting for. Are you ready to help Babitha write the next chapter of her story? If so, contact her foster mom to start the process of getting to know this special girl. ##2105680##

Story
Looking for a "velcro" dog who loves walks, stuffies, rolls in the grass and snuggling up next to you?  Meet sweet Macy!  This nearly 4 year old 70 lb adult just wants to be with her people.  She is house trained, super attentive (read:  Listens really well and learns new things quickly) and great on leash.  She has a love for stuffies and chasing balls (sometimes).   Macy is a little shy around new people initially and can be overwhelmed by energetic dogs at first.  Once she gets comfortable with other dogs, she loves to play and romp.  She ignores the 3 cats in her foster home when they come into her space.   A perfect home for Macy would be one where her person includes her in their daily life including cuddle sessions on the sofa, lounging in the yard and daily walks.  Her house manners are great - she lets you know when she needs to go out and is happy chilling at home on the sofa looking watching through the window while you are away.  She does not exhibit separation anxiety when her people are away, but really loves to be in the mix with them when they are home.   Macy was adopted from RezDawg as a puppy and returned 3 years later due to her owner's life changes.  Because she gets very attached to her people, this transition left her confused and sad.  She has come out of her shell in her foster home and will need someone who can continue to help rebuild her confidence through routine, love and understanding.  The reward will come as you watch her blossom into the snuggly, goofy loyal companion that she is.   ##904721##

Story
Donald is an active 4-year old pup! His love for running and being outdoors suggests he’d thrive in an environment with plenty of exercise and playtime, especially running. Since he’s food motivated, positive reinforcement training might work well for him. His comfort in a kennel and ability to get along with larger dogs make him a versatile companion. He weighs about 30 pounds, which is the right size for a hiking buddy.  While he's been fine with all dogs, his foster mom thinks he's be great as an only dog or with female dogs over 30 lbs.  He should also be in a house with no cats and kids older than 12, as he likes to herd and nip (part blue heeler)at ankles and fingers.  Initially, he can also be leery of men but did well once he's been around them.    ##2185998##

Story
Hello! My name is Chex. I am an energetic little boy whose primary love language is play. I am still working on my relationship with collars, harnesses, and leashes. I'm mostly housebroken - I will let you know when I need to go but may not be able to hold it very long. I love kids, though the littler ones may not enjoy my exuberant hoppy-go-chasey personality. My favorite smells are grass, freshly worn shoes, and whatever you're cooking. My favorite color is blue. My foster mom says I sound very grown up for my age and size. I am very agile and spry, much like a bunny (with the ears to match!) and will make the best companion to someone with an active lifestyle. I love toys and things I can chew on - stuffies are my favorite! At the end of a busy day, I enjoy a cozy comfy nap on the couch next to my person. In case it isn't obvious, I'm quite the catch! Will you be the lucky human who gets to take me home? ##2226018##
