Story
Lila is deaf, and that is her special need. And she is quite happy and loving. Lila LOVES people so very much and will walk into you and curl right up, getting love and snuggles. She has been well socialized with other dogs and the cat that lives at the foster home. She did not initially like the cat, but now she snuggles right up with him and enjoys having him around. She is a gentle girl who is learning her way around the best way to take her cues. She is spayed and microchipped, and is a wonderful companion for someone who is around often and wants to help Lila continue to evolve. She walks well on a leash, never goes too far, and loves attention. Lila enjoys playing with a Kong food dispenser rolling around the kitchen floor (and we enjoy watching her play with that as well!). She has learned what it is to play and what dog toys are now, and that has been the best evolution to watch! She is going to need some training to figure out that she needs to look to her owner for cues. We have been working on that, but she needs more work. She has started to look at our faces for direction, though she does not seem to comprehend the "thumbs up" many deaf dogs can respond to. She will need someone who is willing to do training specific to deaf dogs. Lila does not love going in the car, but goes every day and has gotten much better. She does still drool a bit. The more she is restrained in the car, the better she does. She can be a little picky about food, but loves chicken and puppy food, and always enjoys treats. She is exceptional, and we know there is her person out there knowing that she is such an outstanding girl who deserves all of the love that a person has to offer. She has such a tender and loving disposition, you will fall in love immediately.

Our family adopted Fin when he was 5-7 months old from Lifeline Puppy Rescue in Brighton, Colorado. He is a playful, energetic dog who is the perfect companion for anyone who enjoys the outdoor Colorado lifestyle. True to his breed he is full of life and loves to stay active. He would make a wonderful addition to an active household where he can burn off his energy. We love him dearly but cannot provide him with the active lifestyle he deserves.

Story
The Brush gang arrived at the Rescue from Brush, CO.  Animal Control had them for some time and could not find their furever families, so they asked for help.  They are a sweet, friendly group of Austrailian Cattledog, Lab and pittbull.   They are a very energetic and happy group that can jump high, so a high fence with a large yard or property will be needed for these pups.   Brush pink flowers is an almost 2 year old and looks mostly Cattledog with her spots, she is spayed, microchipped and current on shots.  She is kennel trained but has not spent time in the house, she has her own kennel at night but shares her yard with her brother. Please fill out an application at www.fureverdogdenver.com   If you have any questions or to meet me, please call (720) 588-6809. ##1788564##

Story
Meet Dunbar, also known as Koda Bear—a young, intelligent mix of Lab and Cattle Dog with so much love to give! Dunbar is a sweet, loyal pup who is looking for the perfect family to help him grow into the amazing dog we know he can be.Dunbar thrives in a home that can provide a steady routine, guidance, and plenty of positive reinforcement. He needs a patient and committed family willing to set boundaries and reward his progress as he builds confidence. Like many young dogs, Dunbar is still learning and refining his manners, but with consistent training, he has the potential to flourish.Although Dunbar can be wary of new people and new dogs at first, he warms up with time and patience. Once he feels safe and comfortable, he reveals his true self: a snuggly, affectionate companion who loves to play. Dunbar enjoys the company of dogs his size and is currently thriving in his foster home with two other medium-sized dogs. He loves playtime and lounging on the couch with his foster siblings but prefers a home without cats or small dogs.Dunbar is a smart, potty-trained pup who is kennel-trained and adores his toys. He would do best in a home where he can be let out of the kennel before interacting with other dogs. With proper introductions and a loving environment, Dunbar will reward his new family with endless loyalty and cuddles. If you are patient, dedicated, and ready to help Dunbar grow into his best self, you will gain the most incredible best friend. He is ready to find a home where he can feel secure and loved. Could that be yours? Apply to adopt Dunbar today!

Story
Meet Caiden (aka Chief) – this handsome 10-month-old Australian Cattle Dog mix is ready to find his forever home! This smart pup picks up commands and routines quickly, and with his sharp mind, he is always eager for the next challenge.Chief is a high-energy dog who thrives on both mental and physical stimulation. He has a ton of potential to be an amazing adventure buddy, whether it is hiking, agility training, or just playing fetch. This guy needs an active family or individual who can keep up with his enthusiasm and offer him lots of love and patience as he builds his confidence. He gets along well with other dogs and would do great with a furry sibling who can match his energy. However, Chief is a bit unsure about kids and would do best in a home with older children who understand boundaries. He is not one for chaos, but with the right guidance, he will blossom into an even more confident and affectionate companion.Currently living in a foster home, Chief is waiting for someone who can give him the love, attention, and mental stimulation he craves.
