Story
Roscoe is affectionate, playful, and very smart. I'm sad I can't keep him due to my busy travel schedule. He would fit best in a home without other pets, and a yard to run and play. Roscoe is a great hiking or running partner, and he loves to cuddle! He is very well house trained and loves to play tug-of-war and fetch. Roscoe was abused by his previous owner as a puppy, so can be anxious/ scared of new people in unfamiliar environments, and needs extra love and reassurance. He deserves a good, loving home with people who can give him the space to run and affection he deserves. You will quickly fall in love with him! Adoption includes everything you need such as a car carrier, toys, food, winter coat, multiple leashes/ collars, bed, and more.

Story
Hi! My name is Breck, I am the sweetest two year old pup and the prettiest brindle color. I love to go on walks with my foster sister and play with my toys. I would do best in a home where I get plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. I would love to come on adventures with you! I am shy at first and a little nervous of the world, but my foster parents are helping me learn it’s not so scary. I am potty trained and crate trained. I would do best in a home where my parent(s) are home a lot, I love cuddling and being around my people the most. I am working on my separation anxiety and am doing better everyday (he would benefit from a family to keep this up - he is learning his crate is his safe space when we aren’t home - including feeding him in the crate and keeping his water there). I would be fine as a solo dog (as long as you are home a lot during the day) or with a companion to help me come out of my shell. I am very nervous around men (please be patient, he will come around), so having a new mom in the home would make me the happiest.  ##1480283##

Story
Say hello to Steak Fry, a young, active, and delightfully silly pup with a zest for life! This energetic boy loves to play, explore, and keep you laughing with his goofy antics. While Steak Fry is full of fun, he can be a little sensitive at first and will need a patient family to help him feel secure. Because of his sensitive side and playful energy, we recommend a home with older kids who can understand his needs and join in on his adventures. If you’re ready for a fun-loving companion who’s equal parts sweet and silly, Steak Fry is ready to wiggle his way into your heart! What I Need In a Home:* Older children recommended

Story
Meet Rico, a three-year old, 50-pound, mix-breed who has arrived in Denver by way of Los Angeles. He is a sweet boy who loves to play during the day and cuddle at night. Rico knows some basic commands and is potty-trained, but is working on leash pulling and greetings with his foster parent (he just gets too excited to meet new dogs and people while outside!) He has been expressive ears and a crooked tail, likely from when he was a puppy, but he would never know the difference. Rico loves attention, exploring on walks and playing with toys, and would do best with an active mom or dad that has time to spend with him during the day. He is neutered, micro-chipped and up to date on all vaccinations, and is ready to get started on his new life!  ##2291468##

Story
Meet Macks, a 5-year-old Cattle Dog/Shepherd mix with a heart full of potential and a loving spirit. Macks was surrendered to a high-kill shelter after her previous owner passed away, and she’s now looking for a new family to give her the love and stability she deserves. Initially anxious and a bit flighty, Macks requires some time to build trust. However, once she feels secure, she becomes an incredibly affectionate and well-behaved companion. Macks is not fond of other dogs or cats, so she would do best in a home where she can be the only pet. She will thrive in a household with middle school-aged children or older, or with adults who can provide her with the patience and care she needs to feel at ease. If you're looking for a loyal and loving dog who will become deeply attached to her new family, Macks is ready to bring her devotion and warmth into your home.

Story
Orla is a smart, medium level energy, food motivated, adorable, 10month old puppy. She loves other dogs, does great in a variety of environments, and has a kind temperament. She loves playing games that involve thinking and problem solving for treats. She loves people and kids. She is quick to learn. She wants to please you (and also get a treat). She's great on the leash. She is 45lbs. Upon adoption, you'll receive her 20+ toys, water bowl & mat, all of her treats ($100+), her shampoos, crate, and the food she has left, leads, harness, etc! She is 60% mutt of herding breeds and 40% pitt. She came to me house-trained and with manners. She has a host of commands and is always eager to make you happy. Slowly working on crate training. She would do best with any size family who can give her two 30-40 minute walks/outside time, plus indoor play time! She doesn't bark at things or people either! Such an easy dog with no behavioral issues. Unknown about cats!

For this reason we use variable adoption pricing. By assigning higher adoption fees to high demand moms and puppies, we are able to rescue more families in need. The money raised through these adoptions acts as a benefactor to moms and puppies in our care who require expensive veterinary treatments, have behavioral issues, or need more time to find a home. We often reduce the adoption fees on these harder-to-place moms and puppies to help them find forever families. Adoption fees vary. Applications can be filled out at mamcorescue.org. ##1992740##

Story
Maya is a 6 year old mutt (blue heeler, lab, and staffordshire terrier mix) who is very eager to please. She loves learning new commands and can demonstrate sit, stay, down, spot (goes to her "spot"), and has a decent recall. She likes to have a job to do (she will play fetch until your arm can throw no more). Maya gets along well with other dogs and is also friendly with cats. Maya is loyal and attuned to her humans, and she can sometimes be protective. Maya is vocal when new people come over to the house and may take a couple visits to warm up to someone. She can also be skittish/anxious with delivery drivers and unfortunately, she's also skittish around small humans. She will thrive in a house with an experienced dog owner without young kids. ##267461##

Story
Buddy is a fun-loving and affectionate 2 year old cattle dog mix with a heart full of love! He is looking for his forever home where he can share all his energy and affection with a family who’ll appreciate his playful nature. Buddy is a high-energy dog who loves to play and will keep you on your toes with his enthusiasm. He’s got a lot of love to give and enjoys every moment of affection, whether it’s pets, belly rubs, or simply being by your side. His energetic personality makes him a great companion for an active family or anyone who enjoys outdoor adventures. Buddy would do well in a household with another dog as his playmate and an enclosed yard. While Buddy is full of energy, he has been making fantastic progress in managing his excitement. Sometimes he can get a little over excited, but his crate has been a great tool to help him calm down. He’s house trained + crate trained and has learned that spending some time in his crate helps him stay relaxed and collected. Buddy is food motivated and loves a good challenge, especially when it involves food puzzles. He prefers using puzzles or scavenging for his meals on the floor rather than eating out of a bowl. ##2291842##

Story
Meet Lyric! Formerly known as Luna, this sweet girl is as special as they come! Lyric came to us with her 7 babies, whom have all found their forever homes. She just finished her heartworm treatment and is ready for her next adventure in life.  Lyric is a sweet, submissive pup who loves other dogs. She can be shy when first meeting new people and needs a patient person or family to let her acclimate into. She's likely spent much of her life either in a shelter environment or living on the streets. She is more timid around men and will need extra time and patience.  She can have bouts of high-energy play and loves to romp around the yard and receive mental stimulation like puzzle bowls, slow feeders, kongs etc. She’ll need an active family who can keep her entertained. While she’s not potty trained yet and doesn’t fully understand how the dog door works, she’s eager to please and would love a patient teacher to help her learn. If you’re interested in helping Lyric heal and maybe even foster-to-adopt now that she's completed heartworm treatment, she’d love to meet you! She’ll need to stay on preventatives for the rest of her life and will require future check-ups to ensure she stays healthy. Apply online at (www.lolasrescue.com)! You can email Info@lolasrescue.com anytime with questions pertaining to animals in our care.  **Animals at the rescue center are available to meet during regular hours as listed on our website. ** ##2154017##
