Story
Rose is a 6 year old mix breed, 45lbs. She loves to play ball and take long walks. She loves adults and is okay around older children who know to not pet or approach her. She needs to be in a home without young children and would thrive as an only dog. We have a 1 year old and the high stress and separation is not working for us or her. We unfortunately arent able to give her the attention she needs. Rose is very sweet but she is a high anxiety dog and needs a home that can give her that attention. She isnt initially the best around other dogs (but she lives with a golden retriever, so she does okay with some dogs). She is the dog you take on hikes, not the dog you take to a brewery or to dog parks. Ive had her since she was 6 months old and shes been a great companion - it’s with a very heavy heart that I am looking to re-home her. But I truly think she would be happier in a less chaotic home. Please reach out with any questions!

Story
Hi! My name is Breck, I am the sweetest two year old pup and the prettiest brindle color. I love to go on walks with my foster sister and play with my toys. I would do best in a home where I get plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. I would love to come on adventures with you! I am shy at first and a little nervous of the world, but my foster parents are helping me learn it’s not so scary. I am potty trained and crate trained. I would do best in a home where my parent(s) are home a lot, I love cuddling and being around my people the most. I am working on my separation anxiety and am doing better everyday (he would benefit from a family to keep this up - he is learning his crate is his safe space when we aren’t home - including feeding him in the crate and keeping his water there). I would be fine as a solo dog (as long as you are home a lot during the day) or with a companion to help me come out of my shell. I am very nervous around men (please be patient, he will come around), so having a new mom in the home would make me the happiest.  ##1480283##

Story
Meet Macks, a 5-year-old Cattle Dog/Shepherd mix with a heart full of potential and a loving spirit. Macks was surrendered to a high-kill shelter after her previous owner passed away, and she’s now looking for a new family to give her the love and stability she deserves. Initially anxious and a bit flighty, Macks requires some time to build trust. However, once she feels secure, she becomes an incredibly affectionate and well-behaved companion. Macks is not fond of other dogs or cats, so she would do best in a home where she can be the only pet. She will thrive in a household with middle school-aged children or older, or with adults who can provide her with the patience and care she needs to feel at ease. If you're looking for a loyal and loving dog who will become deeply attached to her new family, Macks is ready to bring her devotion and warmth into your home.

Story
I adopted JP from a Foster organization when he was 2 months old. He is 5 years old now and has been an incredibly sweet, loyal, and friendly companion for our entire time together. I have to find him a new home because of my constant work travel. JP is an Australian cattle dog mix (Beagle, Catahoula Leopard, Doberman). He loves a yard, walks, and playing with his toys. . Recently I live in an apartment which is not ideal. JP LOVES people and will develop a connection quickly:) He gets along with dogs for the most part, but he can be territorial about toys and occasionally plays rough with similar breeds. Ultimately, I want someone who will make sure he is cared for and happy. Please reach out if you think you could be a good fit!

Events are held each Saturday from 12 pm to 5 pm at our office: 2721 W Oxford Ave., Suite 6 Englewood, CO 80110 *In order to protect our puppies, we do not allow puppies to attend open events until they have a minimum of two vaccinations. You can check the list of puppies attending the open event by checking the event: https://www.facebook.com/MAMCORescue  At MAMCO we understand that in order to continue rescuing moms and babies, we must stretch our finances as far as we are able. For this reason we use variable adoption pricing. By assigning higher adoption fees to high demand moms and puppies, we are able to rescue more families in need. The money raised through these adoptions acts as a benefactor to moms and puppies in our care who require expensive veterinary treatments, have behavioral issues, or need more time to find a home. We often reduce the adoption fees on these harder-to-place moms and puppies to help them find forever families. Adoption fees vary. Applications can be filled out at mamcorescue.org. ##1992740##

Story
Maya is a 6 year old mutt (blue heeler, lab, and staffordshire terrier mix) who is very eager to please. She loves learning new commands and can demonstrate sit, stay, down, spot (goes to her "spot"), and has a decent recall. She likes to have a job to do (she will play fetch until your arm can throw no more). Maya gets along well with other dogs and is also friendly with cats. Maya is loyal and attuned to her humans, and she can sometimes be protective. Maya is vocal when new people come over to the house and may take a couple visits to warm up to someone. She can also be skittish/anxious with delivery drivers and unfortunately, she's also skittish around small humans. She will thrive in a house with an experienced dog owner without young kids. ##267461##

Story
Meet Lyric! Formerly known as Luna, this sweet girl is as special as they come! Lyric came to us with her 7 babies, half of whom have already found their forever homes. She’s currently heartworm positive and will be undergoing treatment, so she’ll need a foster home to help her rest and recover during this time. Lyric is a sweet, submissive pup who loves other dogs and enjoys being around people. She’s pretty high-energy and loves mental stimulation, so she’ll need an active family who can keep her entertained. While she’s not potty trained yet and doesn’t fully understand how the dog door works, she’s eager to please and would love a patient teacher to help her learn. If you’re interested in helping Lyric heal and maybe even foster-to-adopt once she’s heartworm-free, she’d love to meet you! She’ll need to stay on preventatives for the rest of her life and will require future check-ups to ensure she stays healthy. Apply online at (www.lolasrescue.com)! You can email Info@lolasrescue.com anytime with questions pertaining to animals in our care.  **Animals at the rescue center are available to meet during regular hours as listed on our website. ** ##2154017##
