Story
Meet Berry! Berry is an energetic and friendly young boy with a heart full of adventure! He's outgoing, smart, eager to please, and overall a joy to have around! He walk's well on leash, knows how to sit, and takes treats gently.  Berry loves making new friends of all shapes and sizes and would fit well into just about any home environment. He only asks to find someone as adventurous as he is! He is active and would love to go for runs, jogs, hikes, you name it!  Call the Ranch to come meet Berry today!   Rescue Ranch puppies are raised through our puppy foster program. They will have met adults, children, often other dogs, maybe cats. 16-week or older puppies will have taken part in our "Reading to Rescue Pups" program and attended many events. When they are at least 8 weeks old, puppies are given a wellness exam by a licensed veterinarian.   Before going home, all puppies will have been dewormed and received all age-appropriate vaccinations for parvo/distemper, and Bordetella. If they are 4 months or older they will also have their rabies vaccination. All puppies are also microchipped and registered with 24PetWatch.   We require spay/neutering of puppies at 6-8 months old (or the appropriate age for giant breeds)  by our veterinarian. The procedure is covered by the adoption fee. Alternatively, adopters can choose to have the procedure done by their own vet (proof required), and a portion of the cost will be refunded.   All of our dogs receive the best in veterinary care and are spay/neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, and fully vaccinated.  The standard adoption donation fee for all dogs and puppies is $300 (unless a reduced fee applies )  APPLY NOW       October 14, 2024, 6:13 pm

Story
Poppy came to Rescue Ranch as a very shy young puppy and has lived in foster ever since. These days she has happy written all over her face. Poppy hasn't met a dog or foster puppy she didn't love at first sight. When she's not making friends, toys and bones are her thing. Of course, being a teenager, she will use her blanket for tug-of-war. Poppy loves her morning snuggles and will share her favorite toy with you as you cuddle. She is still learning how to leash up to go on adventures. She rides well in the car, likes her walks once her harness is on, and enjoys her time at Sunday training. She doesn't care who has the leash--just take her to where the fun is happening! Call the Ranch to meet loving Miss Poppy today. Thank you for considering adopting a Rescue Ranch dog.
