Story
Meet Mamma Mia!    Mia is a gentle girl who was betrayed by her original family. She was left behind during their eviction with a litter of puppies she now had to care for all by herself. Thankfully she was brought to us and we were able to help her in her motherhood journey! Now that all of her babies are in loving homes, it's time for Miss Mia to find hers!    Mia never lost that motherly touch and is amazing with children! She's cuddly, easy to handle, and ready to play! She craves attention and shows off full-body wiggles and a happy grumble when she sees her people. You can't help but smile and talk along with her while you give her a big hug and lots of pets!    Mia not only does well with people, she also does very well with other dogs! She has been in playgroups of up to 4 dogs and knows how to handle all types of personalities. She would likely do well in a multi-dog home but should also be just fine as an only dog. All she asks is that you give her lots of playtime and take her out on daily walks! Could you be this sweet girl's loving home that she truly deserves?    Call the Ranch to come meet her today!   Thank you for considering adopting a Rescue Ranch dog. While they are with us, each and every rescue dog receives the best of care in a loving and nurturing environment. Story
Meet Lassi! Are you looking for a medium-sized dog that can keep up with all your adventures? Lassi is your girl! This friendly and playful young girl is up for anything you bring her way! Whether it's a leisurely walk through town, a hike up in the mountains, or just some playtime in the backyard, she'll do it all! Lassi is well leash trained and attentive to her person making her easy to take anywhere.  Lassi came from a home with another dog and livestock , making her pretty well-equipped for country living if that's what you're looking for. She ended up here along with her friend Bojangles after her prior owners sadly passed in a car accident. Growing up with a dog as big as Bojangles means Lassi has no fear of larger dogs. She's confident and ready to befriend the biggest dog in the park!  Lassi is very people-friendly and would also likely do well as a family dog. She hasn't met a person she doesn't enjoy spending time with and loves making new friends. Does this sweet and intelligent young girl sound perfect for your family? Call the Ranch to meet her today! Story
Looking for a canine partner that is already professionally trained? Look no further than Vinny! Vinny came to Sanctuary One from a high kill shelter back in June. The shelter staff sent numerous videos of him interacting with dogs, children etc. and he did great! Once he arrived he was fine with our other shelter dogs and staff. Vinny was adopted but returned because he started resource guarding food, toys etc. This was not a behavior we had seen from him prior to being adopted. Our volunteer dog trainers from Companion Canine took Vinny home for a 2 week crash course where he learned to have manners and we found out that he is really smart and loves his training sessions! Here is the video the trainers made of him: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1-FxCGpywk_f13IbfggqC2cMwZiCIAl-_/view Vinny is an amazing little guy but will need an adopter that is willing to keep up on his training. He is super smart and would excel in scent work or advanced obedience training. He has retained all of his training since he has been back with us. Vinny is very sweet, he loves to give hugs! If Vinny sounds like a match for you, please put in your Adoption Application today: https://sanctuaryone.org/rescue-animals/adopt-us/adoption-application/

Story
If you are looking for an active dog with incredible intelligence, look no further than handsome Tocho. This mature boy loves his toys so much that he will often rinse them off in his pool whenever they too get dirty. His intelligence shines through with his hat full of tricks consisting of Sit, Wait, Shake, and Down! Not to mention he walks well on leash and is a master of fetch! He will often drop the ball right between your feet just to make sure you don't lose it and can throw it for him again!  Tocho has been known to do well with most respectful dogs so he may enjoy having a canine companion or two! He has been exposed to cats and some livestock in his past so he may also do well with other furry friends in the right home! His loyalty knows no bounds so once it's earned, you will never lose it! He is fairly active but wouldn't mind having a nice bed to lay on and chew on his toy.  If you want to see if this intelligent man is perfect for you, call the Ranch to meet him today!
