Story
How this pet arrived: Lady was brought in by her previous owner on September 29, 2024.Why this pet is the one for you:Meet Lacy! This aloof-at-first gal will stick to you like Velcro when she's decided you're her person. Lacy is not into the whole "busy social scene" thing; she prefers a calm, quiet home where she can feel safe. She's a sensitive soul who's a bit nervous around new people, places, and other dogs, so think of her as your personal hiking companion, not your coffee shop or dog park partner. Lacy is crate trained and her crate is her safe haven. Trust is her love language, and she'll need time (and lots of treats) to build that bond. With the right mix of mental and physical activities (think puzzle toys and gentle strolls), Lacy will thrive. Her dream home? A calm household with no kiddos or off-leash adventures, please! Lacy is a solo-act superstar but might be open to a doggie friend-just make sure you bring along any current dog in the home for a meet-and-greet prior to adoption. Make sure to bring the entire family along to speak with our trainers prior to bringing Lacy home. So, if you're ready for a loyal companion, grab your entire household as well as a leash and collar and come learn more about Lacy today! Primary Color: Blue Secondary Color: Red Bicolor Weight: 28 Age: 1yrs 8mths 2wks

Meet Cinnamon from the Pumpkin Spice Litter. Breed: Cattle dog, Australian Red Heeler, Cavalier King Charles Spaniel is our best guess! Mama Pumpkin Spice is about 20 pounds so we expect that this cute fur ball will be small to medium sized. This is an active breed that would benefit from regular exercise. Puppies don't get much cuter than this and everyone wants a Pumpkin Spice Latte for Thanksgiving Adoption fee: $450 includes spay/neuter, current vaccinations, and microchip. To fill out an adoption application, visit https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/SSP-A-1186 To follow Cinnamon on her journey to a loving family on SPOTs Facebook page, visit https://facebook.com/spotsavespets/ and on Instagram at https://www.instagram.com/spotsavespets/

I weigh approximately 40.02 lbs. STAFF NOTES: Very sweet but very scared.. Needs time to adjust. Arrived heavily lactating (no puppies with her) After visiting her for a couple of days, she is now more outgoing with me and is such a sweet heart. She is still very shy with people walking by her kennel and tries to sleep the majority of the day to help cope with this environment. I have not heard her bark once while here and she won't easily give attention unless she trusts you. She is a sensitive girl, but she is so sweet Took her out to the conference room to play with some of the staff, and at first she was shy with her head low.. But within a few minutes, she quickly became comfortable with everyone and was taking turns getting pet by each of us. She knows how to sit, shake, lay down, and is very food motivated. She wasn't too interested in toys, but she enjoyed chasing me around would play bow often. She leashed well and when it was time to put her back, she went right into her kennel. Meet your New Best Friend! If you would like to reserve this doggie and have us bring them to the event of your choice for you to meet first, you can do so by paying a non-refundable deposit of $50 to our Venmo or Zelle account (619-918 2142 in the name of Amazing Dogs; pls indicate your telephone number). This deposit will go towards the adoption fee. After receipt of your deposit, we will confirm your reservation and list the doggie on our website as ‘Pending Adoption’. If you decide not to adopt one of our Amazing Dogs, the $50 is considered a compensation for the transportation costs. All our doggies come with their health record and have received all necessary medical care, which includes (but is not limited to) all vaccines, de-wormer, anti-flea/tick medication, microchip and of course spay/neuter surgery. Our adoption fee is $500. Only in California, the fee for babies under a year old is $600. Please consider this not as a price you pay for the doggie, but as a (tax-deductible) donation to our charity, so we can continue our work and take care of the 250+ dogs in our shelter. Read more about why we charge adoption fees here: https://amazingdogs.org/adoption-fees/ If you have any additional inquiries, please don't hesitate to reach out to us via call or text. We are excited to meet you at our upcoming adoption event! Contact before event: Sandra Garcia T (408) 477-0553.
