Story
Jenny needs a new home. She is great with cats and other dogs. She would be best suited for a one or two owner home. She does best with women but warms up to men with a little time. She is not good with children. She is potty trained and prefers being in the house close to her people. She can stay alone in the house for several hours at a time. She does not chew. She does well hiking off her leash as she likes to stay near you. She likes rides in the car. She is patient at the door when she's waiting to come back inside after she goes potty. She does not get up on furniture unless invited. She never "counter surfs" for food. We are a busy household with 6 people. She can get nervous with a lot of commotion and would thrive in a quiet home. She is protective of her owners and would make you feel safe. She has come along way since we adopted her from a rescue organization 2 1/2 years ago. However, she still does not like crates. She is up to date on her vaccinations.

Story
(CAN'T REMOVE LAST TWO PICS, GLITCH I CAN'T FIGURE OUT). Toffee is a 5 years old rescue. Got her has a puppy. She's very healthy & crate trained. She's great with other dogs, just have to feed her separate. She's generally very friendly with people, and can be very playful and loving. Main issue: Not aggressive, but can get temperamental & moody when tired or annoyed. Isn't great with younger kids, okay w/ older kids. Small kids don't know when to leave her alone. She'll be moody & agitated when she is annoyed and has snapped at them. If we didn't have small kids, we'd keep her. She likes to be pet around the neck, head & ears, but not around belly or body. She LOVES a good butt scratch & even gives a dance! She likes to curl up in your lap with a blanket. She loves to chase balls & run outside, just doesn't always bring it back- lol. She's good about staying in when we come in the door every day. Doesn't look to get out. She's treat motivated & knows commands like sit & speak.

Story
We found her for adoption in gilroy, she was about 5 months then. She will be 3 in February. She has been good but we’ve acquired a couple of kittens that drive her crazy. This, with my significant amount of time away over the last couple years that has changed, has sadly prompted the need to rehome her for a more suiting life. She would make an excellent ranch dog. My nieces and nephews all seem to good with Hazy. She loves to play but mostly adores her ball. She likes to be your buddy when gardening or general tasks. She has had blue Buffalo dry food from the start and has only had wet food for holidays or birthday. She doesn’t try to take your food but will trot by and sniff. She has rabies up to date and was recently updated on licensing. She is spayed.

Story
To apply or learn more about Isco, go to: https://www.heartsforpawsrescue.com/219873/2023/11/2/isco Indigo is a 4 yr neutered cattle dog whippet mix (best guess) in need of a special home! Adopted as a puppy through HFP back in 2020, Indigo is looking for a quiet, calm adult home as your one and only! ✅ no separation anxiety ✅ housetrained, crate trained ✅ wonderful base of basic training ✅ smart & trainable ✅ cutest submissive grin/wiggle butt when you come home ✅ moderate activity (relaxed inside but loves to fetch and play!) ✅ doing much better at car travel He was adopted as a 4 month old puppy through HFP but sadly returned 3 years later -- he is currently in a Sacramento Foster home but is really in need of a home of his very own as his foster cannot keep him forever. More about Isco: he has a great base of training and ready to impress you with all his cues, including: Sit, Wait/Stay, Bed, Crate, Down and Off. He walks well on leash and doesn’t pull a ton. He LOVES to sniff everything during his walkies aka Sniffaris ( but doesn’t stop to mark, only sniff). He would do best in a quieter neighborhood as very busy places can make him nervous. Moderate energy -- he loves playing fetch in the backyard and a long daily walk would be ideal for Isco. In the home he is relaxed and independent. He has lived with 2 small dogs in the past and may be able to make dog acquaintances with slow intros but does not have a ton of experience with other dogs at this time. He would do best as prince of the palace as a solo dog in the home. Indigo previously lived with a cat who he loved to play with but can chase other cats, he may do well in a home with a well-matched cat friends; we ALWAYS recommend slow intros into the home/early separation for cats/dogs as they get to know one another. Indigo has the CUTEST prance and loves to play fetch. He is treat motivated which makes continued training and intros to people much more of a breeze. Housetrained, Crate Trained, around 55 lbs. Neutered, Vaccinated, Vetted, ready to be yours! Indigo adoption donation is sponsored. You might be wondering what “sponsored” means. A dog is sponsored when their foster or a donor loves them so much that they cover the adoption donation for a future adopter. This in hopes that the pup finds his or her forever family ASAP!

Story
This sweet little bundle of energy is Panda. She's a 5-month-old Aussie Heeler mix. Sadly this little lovebug was surrendered to us because her elderly owner couldn't take care of such an energetic breed of dog. She's new to the shelter so we don't know a lot about her yet. But so far she's been a sweetheart. Panda is happy, smart, and she really wants to please us. If you're an active person and you want a hiking companion, a road dog, and a forever friend, this girl is perfect for you! If you'd like to meet Panda, head over to our website at www.hsnb.org and fill out an adoption interest form. Panda is waiting patiently for her forever family, could that be you?My $300 adoption fee helps to cover my spay, microchip, and current vaccinations. https://www.hsnb.org/adoption-applicationYou should receive a confirmation email from HSNB if your application was successfully submitted.
