Story
7:15 M 44 Are you looking for a dog friend for your dog? Then Koa is your man! He absolutely loves other dogs and enjoys playtime. He is incredibly dog social with dogs big or small. SPECIAL FOSTER or home NEEDED for a very special pup. Koa is a cattle dog mix, who is two years old. In his foster home, he is mostly confident, although he can still get spooked by sudden movements and loud noises. He loves to play constantly with other dogs. He can be too much for small dogs, but he does well with confident, developed younger dogs. Koa would do best in a country or rural area that is quiet without too much stimulation. Unfortunately, outside of the home, he is insecure. We are seeking a home or foster who is experienced in helping a very shy and anxious dog come out of his shell and has the patience and time to work with him on building his confidence. Koa has become very affectionate with his foster mom, and he has been good with all the dogs that have come through his foster home. He is crate trained and good in the house. If you are interested in meeting please fill out an application at our website: www.gobeyondrescue.org/adopt Our adoption fee is $450 and includes spay/neuter, microchipping and up to date vaccines. We adopt within 200 miles of San Francisco.

I am in a foster home and not at the shelter. If you are interested in adopting, submit an adoption questionnaire by email. Learn more hereMeet Paloma, the one-of-a-kind deaf pup who is sure to steal your heart with her stunning blue eyes and unique combination of 5 different breeds (Australian Cattle Dog, GSG and Husky to name the main ones), as shown in her DNA test results. This girl is full of confidence and is a quick learner. She loves going for car rides and gets excited as soon as she sees her harness. Paloma is a social butterfly who adores meeting new people and soaking up all the love and attention. Paloma is already a pro at crate training and potty training and is a bundle of joy with a tail that never stops wagging. She is currently mastering leash skills and enjoys going on pack walks in a quiet neighborhood, where she can show off her playful side. Paloma loves her dog foster siblings and even though she's surrounded by four giant Northern breeds that are over 80 pounds, she is adapting well and learning how to communicate with them. Paloma is in search of a forever home with at least one other playful dog, where she can continue to grow and thrive. She will do best in a quiet area where she's got a yard to romp in, as busy places can be overwhelming for her. As a high-energy, intelligent working breed mix, Paloma requires regular exercise and mental stimulation. She is 3 years old and weighs 47 pounds. If you're looking for a special companion that will bring love and excitement to your life, Paloma is the one for you! Follow Paloma's foster journey with @the_skyline_pack on Instagram. Story
Zena is a 3 ½ year old Australian Cattle Dog who has the most gorgeous and unique coloring and silken smooth long hair for her breed. She is a low energy dog (yes!) that loves cuddling and sleeping when she is not out on long walks or hikes. She is extremely smart and able to be trained to do new tricks quickly and easily. She is food motivated and loves treats all the time - she does really well with positive reinforcement. Zena is great with people of all ages - she visits older sick people and provides them with lots of comfort as well as playing really nicely with young kids who love to pet her and have her in their company. Zena is really malleable with different social situations with people and needs to be the only animal in her home. She is a really sweet animal who does not require a lot of attention and loves being close to her owner. Zena does really well as a runner, hiker, and walker - she has done half marathons and hikes really challenging trails with ease.

Story
I’m moving away and can’t afford to keep him with me. I adopted MooMoo from a shelter 3 years ago. He is currently 3 years old. Looking for a family home. MooMoo prefers quieter environments as we currently live in a busier urban area. He can becomes activated when other dogs bark or rough play. He can get along with gentle, less active dogs. He prefers to be on your lap and get lots of cuddles. He likes to sniff every patch of grass on our walks and does not pull on the leash (in fact, I end up stopping for him quite often). He is housetrained, potty trained, and crate trained (if rehomed, he needs some time to adjust and learn his environment). He knows some commands: sit, down, spin, paw, stay. He is a good dog but needs a better house environment to live in. He will come with his current food, medications, (a bunch of) toys, crate, dog bowls, etc.

Australian Cattle Dog Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)

Female, 4 yrs 7 mos
Pt. Richmond, CA
Size
(when grown) Small 25 lbs (11 kg) or less
Details
Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Pippa is completely housebroken and currently has access to a fenced backyard through a pet door. Shehas been working on her manners for the past year and has made great progress, though her independence and low food motivation make the process slow; she will thrive in a household that can give her consistent, disciplined training and show patience with her learning. She is intensely stimulated by moving objects such as cars, bicycles and joggers, but is slowly learning to manage her excitement. Pippa enjoys the company of other dogs that she is familiar with. She would love to live with a dog who shares her energy level or as an only pet. She currently lives with an older chihuahua whom she really likes, but who doesn’t like her due to her boisterous nature. She is wary around dogs new to her, though does well in an off leash park. Her herding instincts make her not good with small children as she tends to nip their legs. She is OK with older children who are pet-savvy and know how to assert themselves around her. She is selective about the men that she will accept into the house, nipping their heels if she feels unsafe. Pippa is not a cuddle bug; as typical for a cattle dog, she shows her attachment to her Human by sitting close to them, whatever room they’re in. She has some deep-seated fears that include having a door closed in her face, being picked up, or being petted while her guard is down (such as when she’s sleeping). She has shown great improvement in these areas but will need more attention. At her core, Pippa has a sweet disposition and just wants to have activity and space to roam. She will do well in a household with a highly active lifestyle and consistent training.

Story
Banjo is charming, and needs to be in a rural environment with very little traffic coming and going from his home. He is very smart but he is adamant about taking hoses, But it is a lot of fun to use the hose near him unless you're trying to get something done).....he loves to leap up and bite the water. Hilarious and adorable. He will need an adult-only home who have had plenty experience with this breed. He needs more work on training and socialization. Banjo is a sweetheart he loves to go for walks, just short ones. He isn't very big into hiking and mostly just enjoys the company of his humans.
