Adoption cost for this dog is $400 only $200 now We are a rescue, and although we have a facility in Modesto most of our dogs/pups are currently being fostered in or around our area. So please be willing to make the trip to see them if you are from out of the area. Our adoption process REQUIRES that an application must first be submitted and approved prior to meeting any of our pets. Just note that we may get several responses on one pet at a time so just because you have an approved application does not mean said pet is on hold for you. One must FIRST confirm an appointment to meet the pet after an approved application has been sent. To inquire about this specific pet, please write to info@pupznpalz.org for an application. Please consider rescuing our last sweet pup, Bon Bon!! It's getting more and more difficult to keep her here and we only wish the best for her! We rescued a Heeler Mix in December 2023 that happened to be pregnant. Bon Bon was born on January 27th. She is extremely smart and eager to learn! She knows how to sit, give her paw, down and is currently learning to master the leash. She is good with kids and some dogs (as the first born pup, she's a natural leader and likes to be miss boss... so to give her an honest chance, she may need to be solo or with an experienced handler). Bon Bon is sweet and spunky, she loves belly rubs and affection! She is used to sleeping in her crate. She's currently mostly outside but we do let her inside the home for training. She loves to run and play, she loves chew on her favorite toys, to cozy up, and she especially loves sniffing her way around the backyard. Pippi is always in a happy go lucky mood! Pippi needs a job, she needs to be worked, and she would truly thrive in a busy environment. She wakes up in the morning and she is ready to go! Pippi has gone to puppy training and knows basic commands but can still use some working with so she doesn't forget them. She is curious with cats - sometimes chases but will stop when redirected. Here’s what you need to know about this sweet pup: Sammie is a female, approx. 5 months old, 21 pounds, Queensland healer mix, and up to date on all vaccinations. She has an appointment to be spayed on January 23rd. She and her brother were dumped at 3 months old. She was adopted out and we decided to adopt her brother at that time. She was returned as she is anxious around men and they didn’t want to take the time to work with her. We are experiencing littermate syndrome so want to find her a great home as soon as possible. She is gentle, very sweet, loves to be cuddled, playful and lots of puppy energy. She’s very smart, learning the basics: sit, stay, down, walking on a leash. She is potty trained. She is good with dogs. She is shy at first but when she warms up to you, she loves greatly! She is anxious about men, and strangers and new things. She will need to be worked with on these things which we are currently doing with help of a trainer who is male. She learns quick and really wants to please! She is going to make a great, fun, loyal companion for someone or a family. Because she is a playful puppy, I would recommend a house with children over 8 or so.
