Story
Rascal is an Australian cattle dog mix (a tall one!) that is ~60 lbs and estimated to be around 2 years old. He's neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, housebroken and crate-trained. He was DNA tested and results showed 40% cattle dog (mixed with breeds like rottweiler and german-shepherd). He's a beautiful, unique-looking dog. Rascal is intelligent and very eager to learn, which makes training him fun! He is very praise-driven and also food-motivated. He's also goofy, affectionate, and playful with humans. I have been fostering him for over 4 months and he's learning to enter and exit the car with cues, wait for meals patiently in his crate, "leave it" cue, and loves to be a "helper" by carrying stuff around the house and supervising chores lol He also loves car rides! He would do well in a home that will give him structure and consistency and wants an adventure buddy to bring along on hikes and long walks. He would also do well in a home with a large older dog to show him the ropes.

Story
Hi my name is Max. I was adopted by my mom Melissa but she has a very busy schedule and hates to leave me at home by myself all day. We live in a small studio so having room for me to play like a yard is important. I love to run and am SUPER energetic. I love long walks, I’m easy to train, and I get along with all types of dogs and kids! I need a home that can offer tons of attention and space to play all day.

Story
Please contact Suzanne (catsfordays@gmail.com) for more information about this pet.Cattle Dog mix07/19/2023 We would like you to meet Fifi. She is a 1.5 - 2 year old red heeler (cattle dog) mix. She was abandoned when her original owners moved. Homeless she roamed the streets for months and nobody took her in. One day she gave birth to 5 puppies in someone's front yard. Animal control was called and we were notified as well. We were given 4 hours before she would have ended up in the shelter. There her faith would have been not in her or her pups favor.  So we opened our home for her to raise her pups. She was an excellent mom and took great care of her babies. All puppies have been adopted and now it is time to find her her forever home. She is shy at first but once warmed up she won't leave your side. She gets along with small and medium size dogs (never been around large dogs that we know of).  Are you the one who will give her the home she deserves? This girl is craving all the love. Please let us know if you are interested and want to meet her.   We are a small rescue run solely by volunteers and rely on donations alone to survive. All major medical and emergency care comes out of our own pockets. We never put an animal down because of cost, no matter how high. Every fur baby deserves a chance at a better life. If you cannot adopt, please consider a small donation to help keep us going!!! -- Saving Just One Cat Won't Change The World But It Will Surely Change The World Of One Cat! Please Give...So They Can Live.    IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN THIS LITTLE ANGEL PLEASE CONTACT HIS/HER FOSTER MOM SUZANNE:  Text at 310-569-8404 or email her at catsfordays@gmail.com Or come see us as PetSmart 4550 West Pico Blvd, Los Angeles CA on Saturdays and Sundays from 12 to  4 or 5 pm. - -October 16, 2024, 12:13 am

Story
Meet Puppy! A spirited two-and-a-half-year-old Australian Cattle Dog and Shepherd mix from San Diego, CA, whose energy and heart are as big as her dreams of finding a forever family. With her fawn brindle coat adorned with white accents and spotted paws that seem to dance when she's excited, Puppy is the definition of a fun-loving, goofy companion who is always ready to brighten up your day! This incredible girl has come a long way from her early days and has blossomed into a bundle of love and joy. She's earned a "Basic Obedience" certificate and knows commands like "Place," "Heel," and "Sit" like a pro, proving just how smart and trainable she is. Puppy thrives on learning new tricks, and her eagerness to please makes her a joy to train and bond with. Her playful spirit is infectious, and she loves being around people—she’s as friendly with strangers as she is with her trusted humans! Puppy gets along well with her current dog and cat friends, showing that she's got a lovely side that loves company and companionship. With a special bond with children, she’s become fast friends with a toddler in her current family. However, her high energy and a few quirks make her best suited to a home with older children who understand her need for personal space, especially around food. True to her mix of breeds, Puppy has that classic, joyful stubbornness that’s common in Australian Cattle Dogs. Her goofy antics and steadfast loyalty will keep you smiling, but she’s also got a strong personality that needs a confident, understanding caregiver. Puppy does face challenges with resource-guarding, especially around food, and may snap if she feels her food is at risk. She’s an incredibly loving dog with much to give, but she thrives with a family who can provide the training and understanding to help her manage these tendencies positively. Her ideal family would also provide an active lifestyle with lots of exercise, a fenced yard, and a commitment to help her grow in confidence and trust. Are you ready to add a unique, lovable companion to your life? Puppy’s waiting with a wagging tail and all the cuddles you could ever hope for! Email adopt@joyfulpets.com to learn more about making her a cherished member of your family. Could you be the one to give her the loving, energetic home she’s been searching for?

Story
I’ve always wanted a dog and was excited to get Irwin from the shelter near my house. He was there for almost 3 weeks. Since then I have been seeking to provide a good home for him but due to changes in life I no longer feel like I can give him that. He was such a fun dog, lots of energy to play around with. Sadly, I don’t think I’ll be able to give him the kind of life his breeding really needs. Looking for a good house for him to go to. Thank you, Phil.
