🌸 Meet Flora: The One-of-a-Kind Dynamo with a Heart of Gold 🌸 Flora is the last puppy from her litter, and she’s ready to find her special someone! This five-month-old dynamo is a petite girl with a unique look that turns heads – though her mom was a cattle dog mix, Flora is often mistaken for a Husky mix (who knows what surprises her DNA holds?). What we do know is that Flora is bursting with personality and love to give. At adoption events, she’s the one with a toy always in her mouth, ready to play and work. Her curious mind is always going, and she thrives when given challenges and things to do. If you have an active lifestyle or are looking to dive into dog sports like agility, Flora could be your perfect partner! Though she’s full of energy, Flora knows how to settle – usually with her favorite toy by her side. With her smarts, enthusiasm, and love of learning, she’ll be a joy to train and adventure with. Her petite frame (mom was 32 lbs) makes her an ideal companion for running, hiking, or just living life to the fullest. Are you the special person who can give Flora the forever home she deserves? She’s waiting to meet you and bring endless fun and love to your life! 💖🐾

Story
We have had Lancelot since he was about 9 months old and he is now about 5 years old (specific birthdate unknown) he’s a red heeler aka Australian Cattle Dog who very much loves being loved but needs his energy out, as any cattle dog would, but I have two ASD children and so I don’t have as much time to give him proper training and exercise. He does well with kids but can get a little over excited with love nips so needs good training. He’s also a chewer of furniture if he’s not getting his energy out. If you make him a loved family dog and give him your time and energy he is a very sweet boy.

Dexter loves to play with his toys, play fetch and go for walks. He's a snuggler too. He's crate trained at night. During the day he's crated for a few hours at a time. His family loves him very much but doesn't have enough time for him.

Story
Juno is a sweet, smart and athletic dog who thrives on property. She is a youthful 12 year old spayed female of medium large build and weighs approximately 55 pounds. Her health and energy are great and she has many more years to give. She was raised on acreage with other dogs up until until two years ago whereby her owners had to move into a very small 4,000 sqft lot with minimal yard. She needs to be back on property where her skill base is best suited. Her natural abilities include: * Herding* Hunting Varmints* Chases wildlife off property including deer, turkeys and coyotes* tracking (keen sense of smell)* alerts owners of rattlesnakes* Good with kids* Good with other dogs* Never bitten a pet* She has bird dog tendencies, would be cautious of chickens around her. She may chase cats. Juno has anxiety from the move, most important for her to be with the right environment and owner.

Story
Lilly is an energetic and playful dog that will be 1 year in September. She's an adorable pit/Aussie cattle dog mix as far as we can tell. We adopted her somewhat recently then found out we're expecting and don't have capacity for a baby and young dog at the same time. Lilly is smart and has learned quickly. She's crate and house trained, and is working on leash skills. We're also training sit, down, stay, and wait. She will sit and wait for a release word before eating. She gets along well with our older dog, but would not do well in a home with cats or small kids. We're not sure what happened in Lilly's past before we got her, but she is fearful and sometimes reactive, particularly with men. For this reason we hope to find and adopter who has some experience with dogs. Once Lilly does trust you, she's happy to snuggle up on the couch or flop over for belly rubs. We really wish we could keep her, but the timing didn't work out so we're hoping to find her a good home.

Story
Rigby ended up at a shelter after being attacked by several others dogs. Although his injuries were not severe, it seems it has made him a bit untrusting at first. Once he is comfy with you, he is a sweet playful happy boy! Rigby's wishlist: 1. Secure yard/no apartments 2. Adult only home 3. A playful, well mannered dog companion under 30 lbs to play chase with 4. Herding breed experienced person 5. Daily walks, playtime and continued training are recommended 6. Possible adopters available for multiple meets Rigby is a sweet, medium energy cattle dog mix. He is thought to be approximately 3 1/2 years old and is currently 23 lbs. Rigby is playful and loves to play chase with other friendly dogs. He feels most comfortable with dogs who are similar in size to him or smaller. He does not enjoy rough play or overly rough dogs who like to wrestle or play fight. He enjoys going for walks and walks politely on a leash. He likes a yard to explore and play in and is an alert barker so no apartments for him. He is crate trained and housebroken in his foster home. Rigby seems to prefer women and can be somewhat intimidated by men. He does well with men who are gentle and understand the needs of a timid dog. He can be shy when meeting new people but has shown he will warm up with slow, gentle introductions and treats. Once he is bonded to a favorite person he is loyal, affectionate and sweet. He enjoys following his person around the house and yard. Children would overwhelm him so an adult only home is recommended. Rigby would do well in a quiet home with a friendly, confident dog companion to pal around with, help show him the ropes and keep him company while his humans are away from home. He would be best suited for a person who has the time, patience and understanding to help him continue to grow more confident and trusting. Rigby currently lives and gets along with dog savvy cats but he will challenge shy kitties and chase if they run. He will chase outdoor cats who enter the yard. Rigby is a sweet, funny little guy who is waiting for his forever home. Please email right away if you would like to learn more about this dog......and visit our website www.siarescuers.org to learn more about our rescue group.
