Prancer was left at a distant shelter as an under-aged puppy at 6 weeks old. She was nervous so the shelter put her with Dancer Shep mix also 6 weeks old. We rescued both of them and now they are doing great at their hero puppy foster home. They will get a great start since their foster home is also a trainer. Both are playful and adorable. More info. to come. They will be available when they are 8 weeks old. Video from first hour at their foster home. https://www.facebook.com/FFRescue/videos/1100628651741940December 22, 2024, 1:16 am

Story
Maverick is a puppy from a litter born on October 28 in an overcrowded Central Valley Shelter. He and his littermates were rescued along with their affectionate mother when only 4 days old. Their mother, Kismet is a very sweet and affectionate 35 lb. Australian Cattle Dog. While the identity of the father remains a mystery, judging by the puppy’s size, he was a larger breed dog. We suspect the puppies adult weight will be 60-70 lbs. At their foster home, the puppies spend their nights snuggled together in two large, combined exercise pens. By day, they eagerly explore and play in the large side yard and love when humans come to play and interact with them. If you are prepared to take on the rewarding challenge of raising Maverick to be your new BFF, please complete our application that can be found on our website: 1luckydogrescue.org or contact their foster mom, Nancy at nancymoore016@gmail.com. If contacting by email, please tell us a little about the home you would offer the puppy.

I am in a foster home and not at the shelter. If you are interested in adopting, submit an adoption questionnaire by email. Learn more hereMeet Paloma, the one-of-a-kind deaf pup who is sure to steal your heart with her stunning blue eyes and unique combination of 5 different breeds (Australian Cattle Dog, GSG and Husky to name the main ones), as shown in her DNA test results. This girl is full of confidence and is a quick learner. She loves going for car rides and gets excited as soon as she sees her harness. Paloma is a social butterfly who adores meeting new people and soaking up all the love and attention. Paloma is already a pro at crate training and potty training and is a bundle of joy with a tail that never stops wagging. She is currently mastering leash skills and enjoys going on pack walks in a quiet neighborhood, where she can show off her playful side. Paloma loves her dog foster siblings and even though she's surrounded by four giant Northern breeds that are over 80 pounds, she is adapting well and learning how to communicate with them. Paloma is in search of a forever home with at least one other playful dog, where she can continue to grow and thrive. She will do best in a quiet area where she's got a yard to romp in, as busy places can be overwhelming for her. As a high-energy, intelligent working breed mix, Paloma requires regular exercise and mental stimulation. She is 3 years old and weighs 47 pounds. If you're looking for a special companion that will bring love and excitement to your life, Paloma is the one for you! Follow Paloma's foster journey with @the_skyline_pack on Instagram.
