Hello, I adopted Mochi about 7 months ago, I love him dearly, but my life has changed and I dont have the time to truly offer him the best possible life for a dog of his breed and exercise needs. I am moving in a few months into an apartment, and he really needs to have someone who can let him run or has a yard or other dogs for him to tire himself out with. He is a very sweet but anxious boy, and he needs someone who will be able to work on that with him. I really don't want to rehome him, but I know that someone else will be able to provide him with a better/fuller life if they have the time and experience to deal with his needs. He was my first experience with a cattle dog, and he doesn't get tired. He is only a year old, so he is still learning every day and needs someone who can work with his stubbornness. He is easily trainable but likes to push the boundaries. I am hoping to find him a home where he can grow into his full potential even if that's not with me.

Banjo is charming, and needs to be in a rural environment with very little traffic coming and going from his home. He is very smart but he is adamant about taking hoses, But it is a lot of fun to use the hose near him unless you're trying to get something done).....he loves to leap up and bite the water. Hilarious and adorable. He will need an adult-only home who have had plenty experience with this breed. He needs more work on training and socialization. Banjo is a sweetheart he loves to go for walks, just short ones. He isn't very big into hiking and mostly just enjoys the company of his humans.
