Story
Cupcake has been waiting for a furever family 💕 As you know, we are a senior small dog rescue but when a solid foster offer came through to save a very pregnant, very terrified dog on the kill list at high kill Devore shelter, we couldn't say no to helping. Cupcake gave birth a week after leaving the shelter to 10 babies. She ended up losing 3 not long afterwards. Since that time, shes raised her babies (who are all young adults now) & has been waiting to find a family of her own. Cupcake is incredibly shy & must be allowed to come out of her shell with new faces on her time frame & needs a family that understands & will respect that. She's 4 years old, spayed, under 50 lbs, fully vaccinated, crate trained, microchipped, good with dogs & cats, loving to her people. If you are interested in adopting Cupcake, visit our website: www.crustycrewrescue.org/contact-8 Out of state adoptions possible with approved application, home check & adopter must pick up in person.

Story
Tuck is a young, neutered cattle dog mix who was rescued from the Riverside Shelter. Shelter vets estimate he’s about 1 year and 2 months old. Tuck is very friendly and well-behaved with people. While he was initially selective about which dogs he played with, after a few weeks in his foster home, he warmed up and now enjoys running around with the other dogs (mostly herding breeds and huskies). Full of puppy energy, Tuck loves playing fetch with a ball or Frisbee. He’s a sweet boy who thrives on companionship and would make an excellent Frisbee dog and hiking partner.

Story
Hemsworth the Dementus spent THREE months in the pound with his cell mate Barbara (also a Southpaw dog).  Hemsworth has good manners and would be fine as an only dog.  He gets along with other dogs, but like many herding breeds, isn't that interested in playing with them.  Hemsworth loves to play fetch.  He's obsessed with it.  He would make a good hiking or dog park buddy.  He is a herding breed and does require frequent interaction. Hemsworth is three years old Australian Cattle Dog who is neutered, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped. Adoption fee is $250. If you are interested in adopting Patches, please fill out an application here: https://www.southpawrescue.com/adoption-application
