Story
Hello! My name is Bandit and I would love to join your active family! I am a 2 and a half year old, 37 pound blue heeler/Australian Shepherd cross who grew up in B.C. My height is 21.5 inches. My current humans don't have much information on me as they found me at theSPCA two years ago. They were told that for my first 6 months of life I was confined in a small bathroom with my brother. For the past 2 years, I have had a very good life with my current humans who have involved me in all kinds of activities. They know that I just love to be with my people and to do fun things. Let me tell you a few things about the 2 breeds that I represent. Both are herding dogs who just love to be working with sheep or the like, herding them to wherever the human in charge wants them. I am quite representative of a number of herding dogs. I am smart, active, quick to learn commands, highly loyal to my humans, and definitely avoidant of all kinds of aggressive activities with other dogs. My goal is to please my people by carrying out the jobs they want me to do.  I would love to find a new home with acreage so that I can show how helpful a guy I can be. I even start to carry out my genetic skills even without acreage. I have been known to try to herd shoes, clothing, and people. This behaviour isn't always understood or appreciated. One way I love to get out my herding energy is by retrieving a ball, something which most humans can appreciate about me.  I am not a city guy who loves to walk on leash by your side. That being said, I love going for walks with my humans (particularly after a good run at the dog park) but I appreciate either a longer leash than one of those usual short ones or no leash at all. Once I trust you enough to show you that I have recall, I'm a really good dog off leash. In short, I love walks in the woods or generally outdoors where I can sniff, socialize, and play with other dogs I meet. I am a very social dog with no aggressive tendencies. That being said, I do have the heeler behaviour of mouthing the arms or legs of other creatures that I'm genetically bred to herd. Sometimes my mouthing can be a bit much but rest assured, there is no aggression in it whatsoever. I likely will decrease this behaviour with some training on an ecollar that buzzes when I carry out behaviours that belong with the sheep and not with humans. I am also a big cuddler with humans and also a playful guy with cats, especially if they don't run away from me! My current humans describe me as loving, energetic, playful, and a marvelous runner.  The reason I am seeking a new home is because I haven't been the best match with a new baby in the family. I love her but I have a habit of treating her like a sheep. I would be fine with older kids who can be calm around me and understand my breed-specific behaviours when kids are running infront of me. As you can see, I'm a loving, loyal, kind, social, and work-motivated dog who would love to join your family and show you how wonderful a family member I can be. I am house-trained, even to the point of asking to go out. I am also up to date on my Bordetella, rabies, and parvo/distemper vaccines. I have a clean bill of health! I am also microchipped and neutered. ##2301861##

Story
✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to Vancouver & Toronto💟 Meet Dumbo💛🤍 Dumbo was found alone at the Gimje Shelter. He loved people so much so he wagged his tail and tried to say hello to whoever walked by. The shelter environment was poor, with contagious diseases and cold weather, so he was rescued. * With People: Loves people, so he wags his tail and comes running to both familiar and unfamiliar people. * With Dogs: Gets along excellently with other dogs at the Adogs Center. * With Cats: Has not interacted with cats before. * Separation Anxiety: Unknown, as he is living at the Center. He may need training if he lives in a family home. * Potty Training: Does only outdoor pottying as he resides at the Center. 💌Special Notes💌 * Is still a young puppy, so he may need training for separation anxiety, potty, nibbling, biting, whining, destroying household objects, howling, and barking. * It’s unclear how big he will get or how much shedding there will be since his parents are unknown.
