Story
Meet Cookie, a spirited senior dog with a zest for life! Despite being about 8 years old, Cookie plays like a puppy and has a boundless love for the outdoors. She enjoys playing with balls, chasing squirrels, and has a special talent for playing soccer all by herself. Cookie was found as a stray in Little Rock, AR, and a kind Samaritan brought her to our rescue group, ArkanPaws. She has been living on our rescue farm for over a year now, and we're eager to find her the forever home she deserves. Cookie is independent and prefers solo play over interacting with other dogs. She has a very high prey drive, so she needs to be in a cat-free household. With her impressive mousing skills, Cookie would make a great addition to a farm, helping keep the rodent population in check. Fully vetted and on heartworm prevention, Cookie is ready to bring joy and excitement to her new home. Her adoption fee is $350, covering the cost of transport from Arkansas to New England. If you're looking for a playful, independent, and energetic companion, Cookie is the perfect match for you! Adopt Cookie and let her playful spirit brighten your days!         4o ##2097442##

Story
Tahoe (looks like a Heeler mix) is an adorable tricolor big boy at 73lbs and his estimated DOB is 8/19/22. He's a cuddly and playful boy who is looking for a loving home. Tahoe came to the shelter as a stray, so we don't know much about his background, but we do know that he knows a few commands. Tahoe knows come, sit, down, shake, and leave-it. What a smart boy! Come let Tahoe show off for you today! MC:0249Tahoe was generously sponsored by Patrick and Hannelore McCumber during our Reigning Cats and Dogs event. Thank you, Patrick and Hannelore McCumber, for sponsoring Tahoe! Our adoption fee is $125 for small breed dogs under 20 pounds and $100 for all other dogs and cats unless otherwise noted in their bio. Every pet available for adoption is current on shots spayed/neutered, and microchipped. You may submit an application online for pre-approval and to set an appointment or you can visit the shelter Wednesday - Sunday from 11am - 5pm.
