Meet Ollie: A Brave Soul Rebuilding Trust Ollie, currently in our rehabilitation program, is overcoming her fear of humans. Likely born in the desert with minimal socialization until captured by Animal Control, she once lived with a loving family, displaying food-driven behavior and allowing her human dad to pet her. Due to a family tragedy, Ollie (Olive) found herself in need of treatment or sanctuary. With the right family and commitment, we believe Ollie can thrive with humans once again. Help her on this journey to feel safe and loved. Your support can make a world of difference as Ollie seeks a new beginning filled with trust and love.  How to Adopt: Visit www.petsreturnhome.org to discover our dogs, and complete an adoption application at www.petsreturnhome.org/adoption-application to bring home a new companion. Story
Hi, my name is Annie, and I am an approximately 7-8-year-old Cattle Dog mix. I am spayed, microchipped, and up to date on my vaccinations. I seem to love playing with other dogs my size, but shelter staff does not believe I would be a good fit around smaller animals. I love people and car rides. I am house trained, too. Due to favoring my rear left leg, shelter staff took me to see the vet and it was determined that I have a cruciate ligament tear. I am currently on medicine for pain but will eventually require surgery. If you would like to meet me, please call the shelter at 928-636-4223, ext. 7 to schedule an appointment.

Story
Bea is a stunning young Cattle Dog mix with the most beautiful eyes and long legs to match. Recently celebrating her first birthday at the ranch, Bea has been blossoming under the care of her loving foster family. While she was timid and insecure at first, she is slowly coming out of her shell and showing her true personality. Bea is a smart and eager-to-learn pup who thrives on positive reinforcement and new experiences. She has grown to love her long morning walks and has mastered walking on a leash without pulling. She's learned that people and bicycles on the trail aren't so scary after all. Though she is selective with her human and animal friends, once she feels secure, she quickly warms up and makes friends. Bea is house-trained and has learned to use a doggie door for her bathroom needs. She's also crate-trained and sleeps in her crate at night, using it for naps during the day as well. Bea isn't a nuisance barker; she simply alerts you when a stranger or visitor is at the door and stops once she knows everything is okay. Bea needs a secure yard where she can do her business and enjoy her zoomies. She would benefit greatly from having another younger dog as a playmate. Bea is great with other dogs after a proper introduction. She would make a wonderful addition to any family that can provide her with a bit more training and plenty of love and patience. Bea's new family should be willing to continue her training to help her reach her full potential. If you're ready to give Bea the loving forever home she deserves, please fill out an adoption application. Don't miss out on the chance to bring this beautiful and smart pup into your life. Adopt Bea today and watch her thrive as a beloved member of your family! Our adoption fee helps cover expenses (vaccinations, microchips, spay/neuter, food, housing) for the homeless pets we rescue. UAF does not adopt or ship outside the state of Arizona. To ensure the best fit, UAF conducts a home visit to meet other pets and verify a safe, secure yard. If you have any questions or to adopt a dog an application must submitted. Filling out this form does not obligate you to adopt, but gives us the information needed to make sure the pet is suited to your home. HOW TO APPLY: From Petfinder.com The fastest way to get to the adoptable dog page is to copy and then paste this link into your browser: https://unitedanimalfriends.org/adoptable-dogs/ When you are on the UAF website Select "Adoptable Dogs" and pick the dog you are interested in. To apply to adopt, go into the dog's profile, and click the gray "Apply for Adoption" button to get started. You could be a life saver! Help us save more lives by fostering a dog or cat.
