Story
Well, howdy there, folks! The name’s Moolander, and if you couldn’t guess from my name, I’m a certified, grade-A, black-and-white speckled masterpiece! At just a year old, I’m a heeler/Aussie mix, which means I’ve got smarts sharper than a new barbed wire fence and energy that could make a rodeo look lazy.I’m good with other dogs, so if you’ve got a herd of your own, I’ll fit right in! Whether it’s rounding up playmates or just grazing around the yard, I’m always happy to lend a hoof—uh, I mean paw.I’m looking for a forever farm (or couch, I ain’t picky) where I can stretch my legs, get lots of belly rubs, and be your number one sidekick. So, whaddya say? Saddle up and come meet me—I promise, I’m udderly fantastic!

Story
Morty is most likely a 2021 model. We were curious about his genetic makeup so we did an Embark DNA test on him and he is 50% Australian Cattle Dog, 13% Rottweiler, and some other mixes stirred in. As a Cattle Dog, he is athletic and wants to herd things, including dog buddies, which they don't tend to like. He does well with one other pet, preferably a female, his size and energy level, or older dogs that just ignore him wanting to play. He loves walks and does well on a leash. He could be a great jogging companion and would like regular hiking adventures. He is very focused on his people and honestly gets jealous. He can be an attention hog. He will learn anything for a treat or a pat on the head. He loves toys and fetch. He still occasionally jumps up to say hi, so small children may not be for him. He is fully vetted, neutered and chipped. Are you his family? Fill out the form at www.anewleash.org.

Razzle and Dazzle are such a fun pair of short squatty cattle dogs who are never far apart! They are indoor/outdoor, housetrained, doggie door trained, and would love to have a forever home TOGETHER. They are doing great with the dogs and cats in their foster home. You gotta meet them!
