Story
Meet Mr Bruce. This young man didn't have a home so he went into Lowes to buy some lumber to build a house. Once inside he realized he didn't have truck to haul his lumber, or money to buy it for that matter, so he found a dog loving rescuer to follow around and convinced her to help him with his home situation. At 10 months old this young man knows the way to a woman's heart! He is kind of leash trained and prefers to hold it himself or play tug with you while walking. He uses the doggy door and sits for his meals and treats. He is neutered, up to date on shots and is looking for a warm house and loving family. He has gotten along with the rescue dogs he has met but is a bit too rambunctious for the senior pack so probably no small children either. He absolutely loves to play in the water. He will play invisible too and wait for you so he can pounce! He is mouthy and playful and needs someone with experience to train him. He would be fantastic at agility. He is very eager to learn and please. Please share to get this love a home or apply to adopt him at www.krrtx.org/forms Please note Bruce is in Texas. KRR uses Your Texas Rescue Connection Transport services to get him to you. Adoption fee is $180 and transport is $200 Thank you

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Our website has information about our rescue, adoption process and link to our adoption application www.collarofhope.org  We are a foster home based rescue and have no facility to visit. KONA arrived very pregnant and gave birth to 8 babies Dec 20, 2019!   She is very goofy and has playful energy, but also loves to lay at your feet. She's really a clown as she leaps and pops through the house, even in her older age. She listens really well, has shown great house manners, and is a lovable companion.  This is a good thing because she hates being crated and has busted out of them. She loves playing with her foster's dogs.  They are husky/shepherd mixes, and she is even submissive with them. She's also been around small dogs and has been fine with them, but larger dogs are best for this girl if there are dogs in the home so there's no chance of her running over them.  No cats please. Her new family must be a homeowner and have a securely fenced yard, no exceptions.   Prior to adoption, our dogs are spay/neutered, vaccinated including rabies/age appropriate, and parasite treated/prevented as a minimum.  &#226&#128&#139Please visit our website directly to complete an online application.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 3, 2024, 4:36 pm

Story
While Mini can be very fearful around strangers and shy at first, if given the chance, she will be a wonderful companion. She is a work in progress and continued training will be a must for her success in a new home. We are working on all things with Miss Mini as she came to us with no previous training. She has mastered "sit" and "lay down". We are still learning about Mini day by day. She doesn't show off her true self to just anyone. One thing we do know is that she just wants to please her humans. Once a friendship is made, mini loves to show affection. She doesn't know what a personal bubble is and will cover your entire body with slobbery kisses. She also loves to play and she really enjoys training. She is very food motivated and is always determined to master the next skill on the agenda. As of right now, her brother Milo is the only dog she is able to play with. Her fears take over and she gets a little guarded around the stranger dogs here at the shelter. Her progress has been slow but steady, so check back later for more updates!---Mini has some new skills under her belt! She already loved to jump so we put those skills to the test. She is able to jump onto something with the cue "Up", balance herself or sit while she waits for a cue to "Jump" over to another target to balance on. She is also able to jump down whenever you ask with the cue "Off". Her targets are big and stable at the moment but her confidence is growing day by day while she practices her new fun game. Please apply to adopt at: http://www.pawsgh.org

Story
I'm Colonel Mustard, the sweetest 3-year-old Staffy mix you'll ever meet! Although I didn't get the scar on my chest from battle, I was stitched up well and my foster family helped aid me on recovery. Here is what my foster family has to say about me:I spent a little more than 5 weeks living with two new comrades, 3- & 4-year-old children. They helped me get adjusted to civilian life again. I came into the shelter underweight, but I think I filled out quite nicely. I tend to pull on leash when I see other people and pups, but I'm just so excited to make new friends! I am crate trained, I will give you a soft bark if I have to potty, and I love to cuddle on the couch most of the time. I am a great jogging buddy, I do have a signature wiggle dance when I'm excited, and I prefer my toys to be as tough as my tail wags! I prefer to just hang out in the living room with access to the couch or my kennel if I need my own space. If you think we'll make a good team in this battle called life, visit KHS today to meet me!🐾 Colonel Mustard is dog social! Primary Color: Brown Secondary Color: White Weight: 57.9 Age: 3yrs 9mths 3wks
