Story
Meet Chuck, the 50-pound heartthrob with the squishiest face in town! Seriously, stahp—this is one good boy. Chuck’s got one goal in life: to be loved (and maybe score a snack or two along the way). This sweet and gentle soul is all about the cozy life, ready to curl up beside you and be your steadfast companion. Chuck’s a paw-giving pro and oh-so-attentive, with a shy streak that only makes him more endearing. His tail, though? It’s a truth-teller, wagging happily even as he shyly army crawls toward you, hoping for a few well-deserved pets. Chuck came to us as a stray, a little worse for wear and on the skinny side, but thanks to our amazing vet team, he’s back on track and ready to feel like a million bucks. This boy is all heart and pure potential—he’s just waiting for the right person to see it. If you`re looking for a loyal sidekick with soulful eyes and endless love to give, Chuck’s your guy. Come meet him today and prepare to fall head over paws! The dog adoption fee is $90. They come spayed/neutered, microchipped, first set of vaccines including DAPP (parvo combo), Bordatella (kennel cough), have been dewormed with Pyrantel, and have been treated with selamectin for fleas. Our website updates every hour, but some animals may be adopted faster than we can get them updated online. If you`d like to check on the status of an animal, please call us at 360-352-2510. This is especially important if you are viewing this animal on any site other than Animal Services` website.

Story
75 pounds of lap dog, and what more could you ask for from a dog like Oso? Oso is a true gentle giant, a homebody lover boy looking for a quiet life as your resident snuggle bug. He loves kids, and he’s amazing with other dogs. He’s soft and gentle and dreamy! We think Oso is a Pittie mix of some sort. He is a rescue, so his exact age and breed are unknown to us and cannot be guaranteed. We estimate his age to be around 5 years old, and he has the mellow temperament to prove it! Fall in love with Oso here: https://youtu.be/YQYJwaFwujs?si=-TH1rgc1zNVOlH-n Oso is a sweet snuggly boy. He loves to kiss, hug and snuggle. Couch snuggles are his favorite, and he’s gentle with his snuggles. No hard tail thwacks or sudden rough jumps into your space, Oso just wants a relaxing snuggle, preferably one that lasts most of the day and well into the night. Oso is an adoring boy- and children are no exception. He did great meeting a thirteen year old, and showed off his “sit” skills with her for treats! While Oso is amazing with children, he is a mellow soul, and the jumps, pokes, and yelling of little ones can sometimes interfere with his mellow state of mind. He would prefer a home with kids twelve and up, and we think he would absolutely thrive as a family dog. Oso is great with other dogs, he does well with dogs of all sizes and energy levels. He is small dog friendly, and has been fostered with small dogs before! He is not overly playful with other dogs, but will play if engaged with. He is incredibly tolerant, and here at the rescue we sometimes use him in behavior assessments with our more unruly dogs, because he is so unbothered! We think Oso would do best in a home with a low to medium energy doggy sibling. Oso is incredibly friendly with everyone he meets, but in our experience he prefers lazy Sundays at home to nights out on the town. He’s great in the car, but gets a little uncomfortable in crowded spaces. He’s a low maintenance boy, happy to hang back at the house while you galavant about town. Oso’s perfect home will have at least one loving human to keep him company, a couch to snuggle, and lots of treats to munch on. At this time, we recommend a kitty-free home for Oso. He would do well with doggy siblings, but could thrive as a solo dog. He could make a wonderful family dog! We think Oso would prefer a home in a more residential area, the countryside or suburbia, to city living. He’s a gentle, mellow boy, and city life is not for him. With any questions, please reach out to his adoption coordinator, whose email is linked below. We are willing to test Oso with anything you need us to in order to ensure he’s the perfect match for you! We can make most anything happen! Just let us know. You will get to meet your new pup over a video call before signing paperwork, creating a fun and personalized adoption experience! The adoption fee is $825 and includes all vetting (DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, a 12 month heartworm preventative injectible, heartworm test and treatment if needed, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and priceless years of love and loyal companionship! We have over 15,000 successful adoptions so far and have excellent Google Reviews: https://g.co/kgs/UQ5Pyai We care deeply about making the perfect match between dog and family for long term success. Our rescue has a 2 acre property in Texas where we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group trainings and socialization play groups to keep dogs adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers support the positive growth of our dogs and we enjoy seeing their progress! Our commitment to comprehensive medical care sets us apart. We've received glowing feedback from veterinarians who commend our dedication to ensuring the health and well-being of every animal in our care with treatments that often go above and beyond. Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet. The rescue’s hard costs alone for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,120. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that Three Little Pitties Rescue is not government funded. It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these SPECIAL PERKS: ● Extensive behavioral testing and information from trainers on our staff to ensure the perfect fit for your family ● Discounts on Embark DNA test kit- $30 off of Breed ID test & $50 off of Breed ID plus Health test ● 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion ● A free private online dog training session with GoodPup, plus low pricing for future sessions ● 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a delicious PNW based fresh dog meatballs subscription ● Coupons for a fun visit to Petco ● 20% off of Dr. Cuddles pet first aid and hygiene solutions ● Discounted heartworm, flea prevention, and monthly dewormer ● Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! Did you know that the Greater Houston area faces some of the highest stray and overpopulation rates in the nation? We are a non profit charity. Our goal is simple— to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and by rescuing animals from the streets or overcrowded shelters where euthanasia due to lack of space is often the only option. The dog you've found online is not only lucky to be in our program, but also incredibly fortunate to have caught your eye. Thank you for considering adoption and for joining us in our mission! Follow our rescue journey and connect with us on our website and social media platforms. Miss Josie is a bundle of fun and cuddles! She is a happy, smart and social girl. She has raised her pups and is now ready to have her happily ever after.  Approx. 3-4 years old, about 40lbs, Good with dogs and all people. Not tested with cats but she does really want to chase bunnies and squirrels so we would say No for cats, just to be safe. Josie would love a family that will take her on adventures, play toys with her and give lots of belly rubs and booty scratches. She has a good amount of energy and would love a yard to run in .  If interested in meeting Josie, please apply today at www.RescueUnleashed.org

Story
Have you looked up the word, Velcro, in the dictionary?? Cause if you did, I WOULD BE THERE :) Velcro DOG, that is! My name is Cannoli, and YES, I am kind of like a sweet tube with deliciousness inside :) Not TOO sweet, though, so you come back for more! Let me explain something, have you ever heard the song, "Close to you?" by the Carpenters?? That IS my THEME SONG! And I am living it now! I came from unknown but likely "humble" beginnings, I likely have never lived in a real house before. But I am learning VERY quickly! I am a SMART COOKIE... speaking of cookies... I will do just about anything for one (or three). I am a lean 35# but could probably stand to gain a couple more pounds before backing off the cookies. And I am incredibly athletic too. I LOVE LOVE my Chuck it balls and I can leap a small building in a single bound! As long as it is about 4 ft tall! My life has definitely changed since my "family" dumped me at the pound, and I am looking forward to finding my very own home. I would love a nice family with another playful dog. I would like to have all the kinds of adventures I dreamt about for so long.... hiking, biking, running, playing with my chuck ball and then napping in the sun (in your house with AC please). If you have all the things I am looking for, feel free to apply to adopt me! I am going to be free of the pesky heartworms pretty soon and ready for you- so don't hesitate!!! This cute face won't be available for long! PLUS I got the head tilt down, and can ask please too! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)

Story
Kaos is 5years old, will be 6 on April 3, 2025. He loves cuddles and behind the ear scratches. He will do best in a household with no other MALE dogs. He's never been around other kinds of animals so I do not know how he would do. I have had him since he was 3 months old. He's was trained for protection, but is also just a big ol' ball of love and affection. He is currently unaltered, but I am hoping to get him fixed prior to him joining his new family if I'm able too financially. He loves rope toys and bones. He sleeps in my bed, and is fully kennel trained. He's An amazing dog and I'm sad to have to rehome him, I want him to go into a loving home with a family that has the love and time to give him. He LOVES playing in water as well as snow . We've gone through quite a few doggy splash pads over the years. Any other questions. Please reach out to me!
