**Background Story**
Once a shelter pup, now a star! Talley entered TMRS in September 2023 after being in the Memphis Animal Services 'Foster' program late last year. He was saved from being placed on the last call list and has officially been rescued not once, but TWICE by his amazing foster mom! Talley was at risk of euthanasia due to his length of stay at the shelter, but his superhero foster mom stepped up and asked if we could transfer him into our program while she continues to foster him.
Sweetness overload alert! Talley is approximately 6 years old and weighs a charming 50 lbs. This wonderful dog is lovable, playful, and so happy that he could probably win a "Most Likely to Make You Smile award!
**Personality Traits**
Shy at first, but a heart stealer in no time! When Talley first arrived, he was a bit scared and unsure of his surroundings, but it didn't take long for his sweet nature to shine through. He quickly transformed into the sweetest boy, melting hearts with his gentle demeanor. Though he may be shy at first, he has a heart full of love for people, is dog-friendly, and enjoys playing with his furry friends!
**Battle scars tell a story!**
Talley does have a scar on his knee that serves as a reminder of his past, but it hasn't dulled his spirit. Instead, it adds to his character and resilience. He can charm just about anyone-seriously, he could charm the socks off a statue! During his recent boarding experience, he was so sweet that he suckered his boarder into letting him sleep in the bed. If that's not VIP treatment, we don't know what is!
**Zoomies galore!**
Talley loves to let loose and show off his playful side with some spirited zoomies! Watching him race around and have the time of his life is sure to bring a smile to your face. He also adores cuddling and hanging out with his humans-be prepared for some serious snuggle sessions. Talley dreams of a quiet adult-only home, as he prefers a peaceful environment with fewer visitors. His favorite activities include chewing on toys in his dog bed, going for walks, and, of course, riding shotgun on car adventures. He's already a fan of drive-in movies and is ready for his close-up-he'll even share the popcorn if you ask nicely!
