To whom it may concern: This is Zeus, I have gotten him in 2020, right at the beginning of covid when he was 6 weeks old. In oak ridge, Tennessee. He just turned 4 years old in September 10th. Zeus thinks he’s still a puppy, he loves the dog park, he plays a bit rough with other dogs, he growls, but it’s just the way he talks. He listens very well, specially with a train collar, never used shock on him, only vibrate. I have a very busy schedule, and he’s by himself in the room crated, my wife who is pregnant, and is busy with our 1 year old doesn’t have time to spend with him. He needs a better life, someone to love him, and take him out on adventures. I would love to still see him and visit if I can. He does have allergies all year. He takes Apoquel, once a day. I love him very much, much I don’t have much of a choice, I need the extra room that he is in for the kids. He gets along with kids, loves to play tug of war.

Have you looked up the word, Velcro, in the dictionary?? Cause if you did, I WOULD BE THERE :) Velcro DOG, that is! My name is Cannoli, and YES, I am kind of like a sweet tube with deliciousness inside :) Not TOO sweet, though, so you come back for more! Let me explain something, have you ever heard the song, "Close to you?" by the Carpenters?? That IS my THEME SONG! And I am living it now! I came from unknown but likely "humble" beginnings, I likely have never lived in a real house before. But I am learning VERY quickly! I am a SMART COOKIE... speaking of cookies... I will do just about anything for one (or three). I am a lean 35# but could probably stand to gain a couple more pounds before backing off the cookies. And I am incredibly athletic too. I LOVE LOVE my Chuck it balls and I can leap a small building in a single bound! As long as it is about 4 ft tall! My life has definitely changed since my "family" dumped me at the pound, and I am looking forward to finding my very own home. I would love a nice family with another playful dog. I would like to have all the kinds of adventures I dreamt about for so long.... hiking, biking, running, playing with my chuck ball and then napping in the sun (in your house with AC please). Jay is a sweet and intelligent boy. It breaks my heart to let him go, especially knowing his past of having been passed around as a puppy and slightly neglected during his second year of life. I often relate his temperament to that of a three year old. He does well to communicate his needs and even though he gets excited, he listens well... until there's a distraction. He is a big boy, but he's a big teddy bear who only means well. He has done well with kids younger than 5 and he got along with our cats, no problem. He can be an indoor or out door dog. We recently had a baby and with our place being small, we decided to have the dogs be outdoor dogs. As long as all his needs are met He does well. Though, Jay is definitely a companion animal and likes his humans and would prefer to be where his people are gathered. I noticed he sleeps outside my window when the weather allows. Jay has never bit anyone before. However, he does growl at strangers. I have always felt safe with him.
