Get ready to meet the newest combo meal sensation, brought to you by McDonald's... Oops, we mean McDaddy and his sister wives, McMuffin and McFlurry! These delightful pups were discovered living in a McDonald's drive-thru, where they'd been flipping tails for months. The good news? One of the sister wives, McFlurry, has already found her forever home and is loving life! But the McDaddy-McMuffin duo is still awaiting their perfect match, whether that means together or apart. What's the secret sauce to their happiness? Well, these two definitely need another canine companion to keep those tails wagging! Let's meet the star of the show, McDaddy! He's a sweet, middle-aged guy with a low-energy vibe. He enjoys leisurely strolls through the yard, cozy couch naps, and most of all, he loves chilling in his crate while keeping a watchful eye on the house. McDaddy is a people lover, but he's not so keen on the little ones-they make him a bit nervous. However, when it comes to other dogs, he's a real team player, and those pesky cats? Well, he's too smart to bother with them. He's diligently working on his housetraining manners and wears a fancy belly band until he's mastered it all. But for a former drive-thru aficionado, he's adjusting beautifully to the cozy comforts of home life, complete with his very own spot and foster humans who adore him for exactly who he is! With a heart full of gratitude for his newfound safety, regular meals, and understanding and loving people, McDaddy is more than ready for his forever companion, whether it's a friend for your dog or a package deal with his lovely sister, McMuffin. So, if you're ready to add a dash of love and happiness to your life, don't leave McDaddy at the drive-thru! Swing by and let him be the perfect addition to your family. And don't forget to check out his stunning sister, McMuffin-she's head over paws for her foster home too! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX)

Story
Meet the incredible Izzy, although she's also known as Samantha, a true American Staffordshire Terrier mix with a heart as big as the open plains. Izzy's journey hasn't been the easiest, but her unwavering love and loyalty shine bright. With eyes that sparkle like stars, Izzy is the kind of companion that makes every car ride an adventure. She loves hopping in and taking her spot in the backseat, right between her favorite humans, ready to share the road with you. She's a cuddle enthusiast, known to flop down next to you just to feel close and get her fair share of affection. Izzy is well-behaved and knows the importance of a schedule, making potty breaks a breeze. She's kennel trained, but her curious nature and intelligence can sometimes turn her into a bit of an escape artist. She's full of love and a big fan of chew toys, treats, and special puppucinos to celebrate the good times. However, she does get nervous if left alone for too long, stemming from her early days when she waited by a ditch until kind humans came to her rescue. Izzy's heart overflows with love for her people, but she's still working on building trust with male figures due to her past experiences. She's not only great with other dogs, often rolling around in the grass, but she can also tolerate feline friends. However, her feelings towards other cats are unpredictable. And beware, she has a knack for letting everyone know when it's her turn for a potty break with her unique, loud cry. While she's an excellent leash walker, her excitement sometimes gets the best of her, leading her to try and take the lead. But with the right training and a bit more time, she's sure to overcome this small quirk. Izzy is a remarkable girl, full of love and a testament to the resilience of animals. If you're seeking a loyal and loving companion who's come a long way, Izzy is the one for you. She's more than just a dog; she's a treasured family member waiting for her forever home. Are you ready to welcome her into your heart and home? Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)

Hi, we are Laverne and Shirley and much like the famed couple living in Milwaukee and looking for a future filled with big families and love and HOMES!! We are a great pair of pups and we were literally found dumped on the side of a railroad tracks at less than 10 weeks old :( When we were found, we each had one eye that was like a "cherry pie", I think that's what the doctor man said..... (the doc said "cherry eye!!") We were so bonded that Shirley's left eye and Laverne's right eye had the "cherry pie" :) I mean, how cute and sad is that???? We are a couple of pittie/lab girls, we are great with all people, dogs, cats and even tortoises!! We are bonded but can be separated if the right families come along. Honestly though, we are like the peanut butter and chocolate debate- TAKE THEM TOGETHER!!!! We are about 50# maybe, full grown... We LOVE to ride in the car, so traveling with you is super easy, cause we are THERE! You don't have to pick us up, we load up!! I think you need to go ahead and fill out the application soon! ONE OR BOTH, we are waiting!!!! Severly handicapped! birth defect due to backyard breeder. Front legs are both compromised. He can hobble across the floor to go out to potty, kinda like a kangaroo, and he can play in the grass which he loves, and with some toys as well. He is sweet. Very, but still young and wiggles, and wiggles and wiggles. He has a wheelchair but the flooring has to be just right for it or he will flip forward. We are hoping for prosthetics and have at least at this point made one contact. He has been featured on Nickelodeon. He walks like a kangaroo a bit and ties to jump up and give you attention but has no legs to hold himself onto you. He needs the PERFECT place, is your place that place? We require all families foster the first two weeks to be sure this sweet animal will fit in and be part of your family, otherwise we want him back, we love him. I know the adoption fee sounds high, but we have spent over twice that amount with two surgeries to get him this good, and wheelchair ready.

Story
Daisy was adopted from a shelter where she had been for two years. They did not know her story before that. She’s 4 years old, about 40lb. A very good, loving and affectionate girl. Choosy with people; she either loves or hates you, and you will know right away. Does not do well around aggressive people or dogs, but very good with kind people and kids. She needs security, consistency, affection and exercise. She loves her comforts like blankets, pillows and couches. Can sleep all day but needs a good workout and space to roam free. Loves long walks and short sprints. Quiet; she doesn’t bark unless she senses a threat she considers serious. Her bed, travel crate, including blanket and cushion will go with her. She is house trained. If she pees indoors she is protesting something. Commands: She knows “sit” “come” and “paw” but hasn’t responded to “heel” or “fetch” or “down”.

Story
Meet Rico! Hey friends, my name is Rico! If you have a minute, let me tell you about myself! I came to the shelter a little while ago, I had fallen on some hard times and honestly wasn't in great shape. It's a long and kind of sad story, and I'm more of an upbeat kind of pup, so I won't bore you with the details of it. The bulletpoints version of it, when I was brought to the shelter I was like, crazy skinny, and really really stinky. The friends I made at the shelter gave me a really good meal and a bath, and since then things have all been going my way! Well, not in the whole "adoption" part, but everything else has been pretty great. I've had lots of time to discover my favorite things and make new friends. I get crazy excited for my food, but honestly who wouldn't? When you go as long as I did surviving on scraps, having a consistent meal every day is a pretty rad thing. I like toys too, but my favorite toys are the ones that my friends call "tough toys". I could honestly chew on one of those things all day long, they're the best. Other than that, I have to say my absolute favorite thing in the whole wide world is playing in water! Whenever it's bath time, I always have my friends laughing their pants off. I can't help it, it's just so much fun to try and eat the water! Sometimes, on a nice warm day, they will break out a sprinkler or splash pad for me, and I get to run around and chase the water, those are my favorite days! Aside from all that, I'm a pretty down-to-earth pup. I can come across a little hyper and excitable, but at the end of the day I just want someone who can give me all the love I've missed out on.  Rico is fully vetted, neutered, and microchipped. He is an American Staffordshire Terrier mix with an estimated birthday of 04/29/2021, and weighs in around 50lbs. He is good with other dogs, but if you currently have any at home a meet and greet is always required. His adoption fee is $125.  Interested? Give us a call at 615-446-7387.  ##1701422##

Story
Meet Canyon! Canyon is finally ready to find his forever home. Canyon was trapped by Animal Control after he was spotted roaming all alone in the woods. He was skin and bone, weighing less than 40lbs when he entered our care. He was very scared and unsure of everything, but as soon as he realized that we were here to help him, he showed us that he can be one of the sweetest, loyalest, most loving dogs around. We got Canyon the medical care he needed, as well as lots of nutritious meals, and he bloomed into the most handsome boy. He knows his name, walks great on a leash, and knows how to sit wonderfully for a yummy treat. Canyon is an American Staffordshire Terrier mix, and his estimated birthday is 01/01/2019. He can still be a little wary of new people, but once you earn his trust you will never meet a dog so easy to bond with. Canyon is suited to a cat free home, and his unsteady history makes him better suited to a home with no children under 12. He has done well with dogs here, but as always we require a meet and greet if you already have any other dogs at home.  Canyon is fully vetted, microchipped, and neutered. His adoption fee is $175.  Interested? Give us a call at 615-446-7387.  ##1791189##

Story
Meet Marlin! Hi, I'm Marlin! I was born sometime around 12/1/18, and I am an American Staffordshire Terrier mix. I may be biased, but I think I'm pretty great. I mean, have you seen me? I have the coolest brindle and white pattern, and good luck not falling for my charms. I give the very BEST kisses, and I am good at making friends with just about anyone. My favorite things in the world are playing, toys, and playing more. When it comes to toys, I love anything that squeaks, and anything that I can chase! tennis balls are so much fun, I'd love someone to throw one for me all day! I don't really mind other dogs, but I definitely have to meet them before I commit to living with them. I'm really not a big fan of cats, so please don't ask me to live with any. I love kids, but some people think I play a little too rough to be with really little ones. Will you help me find a forever home? Marlin is fully vetted, neutered, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $175.  Interested? Call 615-446-7387.  ##1887962##

I'm gonna make you an wo-offer you can't refuse. That's Pacino's favorite phrase. The adoption deal is simple: a roof over his head, a cold dish of water, daily meals and treats, plus an abundance of love. What? It's a good deal! Pacino, now over a year old, has become a true Dogfather. He is well-behaved, happy-go lucky, is very handsome, and has a wonderful, playful nature; he fits seamlessly into any family. His lineage boasts a long line of Dog-Father's, tough dogs out in the world whose business is their own. But, they are loyal, loving and strong characters to have around you.. He's a potty-trained and crate-trained gentleman, but he still has a penchant for chewing. He adores treats and toys, but can go through them quickly. Proper and slow introductions to other dogs are essential. Pacino would thrive best with older kids. Join the legacy and give Pacino the family he deserves. After all, a dog like him is an offer you can't refuse. Story
Hi there, I'm Precious. They say that I am called this because I am the most precious dog here at God's Dogs Rescue. I came to the rescue in October of 2022 to have a safe place for me to have and raise my puppies. All my puppies were adopted by the end of January 2023, but I am still here looking for my furever home. I am a bigger girl, but this just means there is more of me to cuddle you, because I love cuddling it's one of my top 3 favorite things. 1) Food- I love food and will do almost anything you ask if you have a treat involved. 2) Cuddles- on your lap, on the couch, in the bed wherever there is a comfy space with pillows or a human I want to be there. 3) Kisses- I have a love of giving kisses to people, especially kids. Although not everyone likes it when I try to kiss them and that makes me sad. 4) Honorable mention- I like going on walks or in the car for a ride, although I prefer just lazing around at home. My current fosters say that I am a "house hippo with springs in my feet whatever that means; I just know sometimes, when I get super happy, I feel like I could fly- or jump really high. I love their kids and am very good with them even the tiny ones. I get along with most other dogs I meet, although I have a big personality about me, because I'm a boss, so sometimes other dogs don't like that about me. I tolerate cats although if they give me too much attitude or growl at me, I can't help but to give them piece of my mind. I like most new people I meet although I had a rough start in life so sometimes, I can be a little wary with men, with time though I adjust, and we can become best friends forever. A few more little details about me: I am 3 years old I am a Boxer/Shepherd mix I am great with kids I am good with Cats and Dogs I am crate-trained I am housebroken I can be adopted in Texas or anywhere in the US too! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area, $50 temporary fuel fee will be included)
