Story
Available in TX, PNW & NE (excluding NH and MA) This handsome man is Jake Gyllenpaws. Jake is a real model and is good at stealing hearts with his good looks. His foster mom says Jake has the "model look to him. He lays down and when you stop petting him, he looks back at you with "Blue Steel." Of course, this look often ends with more pets and kisses for the sweet boy. How could you not just love all over this boy? Jake loves to cuddle on the couch and be by your side soaking up all the love. After being stuck in the shelter, Jake has been working so hard on his doggie manners and wants to show you how far he's come. He can sit, lie down, and has been working on learning to stay. He is potty trained and loves to be outside in a yard with his family. He doesn't much care for the crate, but his foster family is committed to showing him it can be a pawsitive place. Jake is a gentle boy and sensitive. After his last vet visit, he looked quite sad, so his foster mom took him to get a pup-cup and it made him very happy again. Jake will require continued spoiling and love, as he deserves the best. Jake is living with 2 other dogs in his foster family and loves having play mates. They get along very well outside of treat time. Jake would prefer not to share. It's likely best to feed Jake separately from other resident dogs since he's still learning that sharing is caring. This Jake Gyllenpaws isn't a fan of cats. A home without felines is best for him. Jake is a velco boy and loves to be with his family. His human foster brother is turning out to be his best friend. Jake is learning to be gentle with him because he gets so excited when he sees him. Although Jake hasn't met any smaller children, we think he would do well with kids over 10. He does like the zoomies and with his zest for life, he may knock over the smaller ones trying to play. Sweet Jake is a real lap dog at heart and loves being by your side. If you're looking for an energetic and loving pup to join your family, Jake Gyllenpaws could be the perfect match for you! Available in TX only! Granger, a 54-pound young adult rescue dog, embodies a unique blend of traits that make him an endearing companion. His wide-set, beautiful eyes are a distinctive feature, complemented by charmingly bow-legged stature reminiscent of a bulldog. Granger thrives in the company of other dogs, eagerly seeking opportunities to snuggle and play with his furry pals. His social nature extends to adoring kids, showcasing gentle and amiable behavior around them. A testament to his adaptability, Granger is both kennel and potty trained, demonstrating discipline and understanding of boundaries. Story
Lilo is a super friendly and lovable 1-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier mix who is looking for her forever home. This affectionate girl loves to cuddle and is always ready to snuggle up beside you when she’s not busy playing with her toys. Personality and Traits Affectionate: Lilo loves to cuddle and be close to her humans. She’s happiest when she’s either playing with you or snoozing right next to you. Friendly: Gets along well with other dogs, cats, and people of all ages. She may initially bark at unfamiliar people but quickly warms up. Playful: Lilo enjoys outside time and playing with chew toys. Strong chew toys are recommended since she loves to tear them up quickly. Trained: Knows basic commands like sit, stay, come, and lay down. She is house-trained, crate-trained, and potty-trained, as long as she has a stable outside routine. Skittish: Can be very skittish at times and may have accidents inside if not kept on a regular schedule. Keeping toys with her in the kennel helps prevent her from chewing on things. Ideal Home Lilo has some separation anxiety, so a home with other animals or someone who is home more often would be ideal for her. She needs a family who can provide her with plenty of playtime, exercise, and affection, and who will help her feel safe and secure. Routine Lilo’s day starts at 8 AM when she goes outside to potty, followed by breakfast at 9 AM. She enjoys playing with her toys, spending time outside, or napping throughout the day. Lilo goes outside every 2-3 hours and has dinner at 6 PM. She loves treats and chew toys between meals.

Story
Bruno has been with us his whole 5 and a half years of life! He has grown up with my son. We’ve decided to rehome him purely because we haven’t been able to love on him the way he deserves. He’s so incredibly sweet. He’s would enjoy a chill cuddly cozy lifestyle. He can’t really go for long walks especially in the summer. English bulldogs aren’t build like that they get short of breath quickly. He spends most of his days lounging around. He prefers his own space and gets defensive around other dogs because of his limited interaction. He’d love being an only dog!

Story
Hi! I have owned Jager (pronounced like Jagermeister), since early 2018. I got him from a family friend, because he wasn't receiving the type of care that I felt he deserved. He has been an excellent companion for the last few years; however, our family has grown tremendously with adding two small children, back to back. In doing so, he is not receiving the attention he so desperately needs and desires. He would be perfect for a single or retired person, who wants to snuggle and love on him all day! He is very communicative, does not like when people wear hats (previous abuse in puppy mill), and is EXCELLENT with kids. We had a more dominant American bulldog, and Jager's temperament was perfect with the other dog. I refer to him as a "marshmallow", because he can be extremely aloof and unaware at times! He does get the occasional ear infection & folds will need to be cleaned daily. Experienced bulldog owner would be best but a loving home is more important.

Story
Trixie is the sweetest wiggle butt you will ever meet. She will give sweet little kisses. Trixie is a professional sleeping buddy with the cutest little snores. She is 100% housebroken. Trixie doesn't beg for food and will nicely sit for each treat and shakes her paws for it. She will climb into your lap when invited. When outside in the fenced yard she will demonstrate her zoomies abilities. That girl is fast!! Trixie hasn't met a stranger and wants to meet everyone. She's a good passenger in the car. Trixie loves going for walks, but needs a strong dog walker to control her on the leash, especially when Trixie gets distracted. Trixie rarely ever barks. Trixie wants to be included in everything and can get a bit stressed when left alone. When the human is around she will lounge on the coach and totally relax. Her personality is super sweet!
