Story
Hi my name is Winnie! You know the saying ‘straight from the horse’s mouth?’ I gotta new one – ‘straight from the foster’s mouth’ and here it is! Foster dad said I’ve been an absolute pleasure, he says I’m smart, a quick learner, he taught me ‘sit’ and I’m improving on my potty training. I love to play, I’m great with people, have boundless energy and am well-behaved on a leash. I don’t mind sleeping in my kennel at night, but I do miss my humans during the day when they leave. The staff said I’m dog social and like to play chase with my shelter friends. I hope my newest saying will be ‘straight from my new family’s mouth’ and it’ll be – We are so happy we adopted Winnie; we love her!!If you are interested in meeting me, the shelter is open Tuesday through Saturday 11am – 5pm (Winter hours). If you'd like to schedule an appointment, check out the pets' profile on our website at newberganimals.com to fill out an application and email to frontdesk@newberganimals.com.Due to COVID-19, we are currently only open by appointment. Please follow the instructions on each pet profile.
