Story
Oh Ramona! You've been waiting so long. We just know your person is out there somewhere! Ramona is an adorable small-sized pittie with some serious pizazz.    She adores humans, toys, and belly rubs. Ramona doesn't like sharing the attention and prefers to be an only pup. Ramona would do best with a yard to act out her occasional imitations of a Tasmanian devil. Ramona does very well on a leash and knows her basic obedience commands. She's had a lot of training and is just hoping for the right adopter to come and love her as much as we do. Call the Ranch to make an appointment to meet her  today! Read more about Ramona here:  https://rrdog.org/rescue-ranch-pocket-pittie-has-been-waiting-nearly-2-years-for-her-person/ Thank you for considering adopting a Rescue Ranch dog. While they are with us, each and every rescue dog receives the best of care in a loving and nurturing environment. Their routines include daily playgroups or partnering with dog buddies, quality time walking or being groomed, and two meals a day with dog biscuits for dessert. All of our dogs receive the best in veterinary care and are spay/neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, and fully vaccinated.  The standard adoption donation fee for all dogs and puppies is $300 (unless a reduced fee applies )  APPLY NOW       November 6, 2024, 10:05 pm

Story
Miss Mayzie is sovereign everywhere she goes. If you were to ask us which dog here at the Ranch is easiest to love, we would probably say Mayzie! Adorable Mayzie is a gorgeous blue-nose American Staffordshire terrier who first came to us from county animal control. She is just an angel: loving, affectionate, gentle, happy, eager to please... the list goes on. Her beautiful blue coat and charming smile are the cherry on top of this sweet-as-a-sundae girl. If you are looking for a dog who will be your constant companion, a calm and affectionate family member, the friend of all your friends, a sofa lounger, and a bed hog, then look no further. Mayzie will be all that and more! Mayzie is compact but strong for her size. While leash-trained she could use some help learning not to pull and brush up on her manners. But with her desire to please her handler, training should be a simple matter. Mayzie prefers to rule the roost alone and we don't know her history with cats. We think she would do well with children. All in all, Mayzie is ready to be a fabulous, friendly addition to some lucky family. Could it be yours? Then come on down to the Ranch to meet her today! Story
Meet Skippy, the peanut-butter-colored pittie! Skippy has been with us for awhile now, and would love to find a special human to enjoy life with. Skippy is a very shy boy who has likely endured some trauma in his past. He takes a while to warm up to new people, but once he does, he shows his true nature as an extremely loving, silly, and smart pup. He already knows Sit, Lay Down, and Shake, and would love to learn more. Skippy walks well on leash, and he loves to go on walks or cuddle with his person on the couch. He's a velcro dog who wants to stay right by your side. He'll need someone who is patient, kind, and confident to expose him more to the world, so he can blossom into a confident dog!    Thank you for considering adopting a Rescue Ranch dog. Story
Otis was born in our home and has been with us his entire life. He is a very good boy, but needs a lot of attention. He does not do well with little kids because of the loud and high pitch noises. He does fine with my kitties, but I couldn’t tell you if he will do okay with other cats. He will need to be the only dog, as he doesn’t socialize well with other dogs and can be perceived as aggressive instead of playing rough. He is not an aggressive dog by any means, but is very excitable and has a ton of energy. I have medical issues and am forced to move, and will not be able to keep him in my new living situation.
