**** THIS DOG IS IN FOSTER READ BELOW FOR MORE INFO***Hi, I’m Buddah! I came back to CAC after my owner had to move, but now I’m thriving in my foster home with both cats and dogs. My foster mom says I’m doing awesome! I love meeting new people and get along great with all my furry foster siblings. I’m adventurous and love exploring, plus I LOVE playing in the little pools we have here! If you enjoy going to the lake or have a pool in your backyard, that would be amazing! I can’t wait to go on my next adventure with my forever family. Please make sure you have the time, space, and resources to care for me for the rest of my life. You can reach out to my foster mom Liz at 218-393-7829 to set up a meeting with me!

Story
Well hey there! My name is Oreo! I arrived to CAC as an owner surrender. I was wondering if you have a nice backyard? Because I would love to lay around and play ball in it. I am girl who loves her people. It does take me a little bit to warm up to new people, but once I know you, I won`t want to leave your side. I am a pretty simple girl who is ready for a simple life filled with affection. Please be sure you have the right amount of time, space and resources to care for me for the rest of my life.

Story
Mister is a joyful, sweet-natured boy with a heart as big as his smile! This handsome guy is the perfect mix of playfulness and cuddles—he’s always up for a game of fetch with his favorite ball, followed by cozy snuggles with his people. Mister is one of those dogs who can light up any room with his wagging tail and infectious, happy grin. Friendly, adventurous, and great with kids, Mister is truly the total package. He does well with other dogs as long as introductions are balanced and easy-going. However, Mister is not a fan of feline friends, so he would do best in a cat-free home. Potty-trained and crate-trained, he’s got great manners and is ready to fit right into your home with ease. Mister is currently heartworm positive, but don’t worry—his treatment will be covered, and he's ready to heal up in a loving, forever home. If you're looking for a loyal, affectionate, and spirited companion who will shower you with kisses and fill your days with joy, Mister is waiting for you! Heartworm is unfortunately quite common in Texas due to the warm, humid climate that allows mosquitoes, which spread heartworm, to thrive year-round. Many dogs in Texas face this risk, but the good news is that heartworm treatment is very effective. With proper medical care, including the treatment provided at adoption, dogs can fully recover and go on to lead long, healthy, and happy lives. With preventive medication, heartworm can be kept at bay, allowing dogs to enjoy an active, fulfilling life with their families. To add Mister to your family, simply send us an email at springbranchrescue@gmail.com for adoption and fee information. He is wagging his tail and wiggling his butt at just the thought of finding his forever home and his story is just beginning! His next chapter could be with you! Our adoption fee includes transport, all age required shots, microchip, & a health certificate from a licensed veterinarian. We look forward to receiving your application! We will review it shortly and give you a call to set up a phone interview.  We are thrilled to offer transport services every 3 weeks from Houston to the Pacific Northwest, the Midwest, and the East Coast, ensuring that these incredible pets can find their way to you no matter where you are. This makes the adoption process smooth and convenient, allowing you to focus on welcoming your new family member with open arms. Why should you adopt from a Texas Rescue? Because you will be giving one of our many dogs and cats in need a chance for a better future away from a city that has an animal crisis. We are heartbroken each day with the many incredible and loving animals found wandering our streets. So often are these animals dumped, abandoned, or born on the streets and never find a home to call their own. We are giving them the chance that every animal deserves. We know that since you are looking to add a furry family member to your home here, you will provide the love, care, and attention they need to thrive. Thank you for considering adopting and not shopping. ##2219801##

Story
Reach new heights with Denali! Meet Denali! Denali is in a foster home in Spokane, WA and can be transported to your area (see below in the “Adopting from Path of Hope Rescue” section). Why wait to meet your perfect companion? Our adult dogs are ready to bring love and joy into your life this holiday season, and there is no better time than now. Give an adult dog a home for the holidays, and you choose the minimum donation amount! Sometimes rescue can be a lot like climbing a mountain; you need to take a lot of switchbacks before you get to where you want to be. Lovely Denali is an example of this. After we rescued her and her and her pups from a shelter in Texas, the puppies quickly found new homes, and sweet, endearing Denali was adopted by an older couple who fell in love with her. When a death and severe medical issues left her adopter unable to care for Denali, he returned her to us. She was seriously overweight and suffering from bladder stones, which were successfully removed in July. Her foster has been working diligently on her diet (lean meat and noodles are a favorite!).  Denali has lost 30 pounds and is eager to show off her svelte new bod! How did she lose over a third of her body weight? Here’s Denali’s weight loss advice. Always wait to be petted before you eat; dance around when your meal is being prepared (burns calories and revs up your metabolism); pretend broccoli is really a cheat food; and have someone else portion out your meals! Sweet natured and goofy, Denali gets along well with dogs and people (adults and children), and she is also comfortable being on her own. She will join you for an explore or trot up to you for pets and ear rubs. After losing one third of her body weight, Denali joins in romps with the other dogs in her foster home and enjoys playing outside. She bounds around the yard, stopping to encourage the resident dogs to join her in her games. Denali is always up for a ride in the car or a brisk walk with her people. Losing weight has made a huge difference in her quality of life.   Denali’s ideal home? Denali is looking for someone to love and to love her in return, who will support her on her weight loss journey (her ideal weight is around 45 pounds). She will need to remain on prescription food for the rest of her life to prevent more bladder stones, and she may be prone to urinary tract infections, so an adopter will need to be watchful for these. Denali would love a walking partner and snuggle buddy.  Are you ready to reach new heights with Denali? “Fur-st Impressions” are very important! Schedule a meet and greet with Denali before applying to see if she is the perfect fit for your family by emailing us at Fur-stImpressions@pathofhoperescue.com.  A completed Adoption Application will be required after the meet and greet to move forward with Denali’s adoption. What is Path of Hope Rescue’s Adoption Process? Our adoption process takes on average 7-10 days. Begin by completing the online application. EVERY application receives an email response from us (check your spam folder!). Your personal Matchmaker will contact you, help you find your perfect pup match, and guide you through the process. Meet your potential pup at the home of the foster family (the process may differ slightly for long distance adopters). Bring your potential pup home for a no commitment In Home Trial. In Home Trials are a minimum of (2) nights for a puppy and one week for an adult. Your Matchmaker will check in with you during this time. Sign the adoption paperwork and adopt your new family member! Adopting from Path of Hope Rescue Our adoption process sets us apart. We specialize in learning about you and your family to find just the right fit for you. Our Matchmakers are not only good at what they do; they will also guide you through the entire process. Our Minimum Adoption Donation is $550 for puppies under a year and $450 for dogs a year and older. We are a WA state registered non-profit and rely heavily on adoption donations to cover the expenses associated with saving lives. Our dogs are spayed/neutered prior to adoption; microchipped with free lifetime registration; and up to date on DAPP, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccinations (when age appropriate) and deworming and heartworm treatment/prevention. Adopters can also earn a $100 training refund if they attend (6) hours of any in person training course. Long Distance adopters (one hour or more from Spokane) may choose to travel to Spokane to pick up their dog or use our monthly transport option, Puppy Delivery Express, for an additional delivery donation of $250. Puppy Delivery Express currently delivers dogs throughout Washington and to parts of Montana, Idaho, and Oregon. About Path of Hope Rescue At Path of Hope Rescue, our goal is to make EVERY DOG. WANTED. Our two employees and army of volunteers focus on transporting pregnant dogs and puppies from Texas, the number one kill state in America. The dogs we rescue are in poor living conditions and on euthanasia lists in shelters that are inundated with unwanted animals. We want to give these dogs a chance and bring them to the Pacific Northwest to find adoptive, loving homes. We are 100% foster based; our dogs are fostered in loving homes where they are house and crate trained and learn basic obedience and leash skills. Dogs experience socialization opportunities with people, places, and other animals, and they receive the attention required to become well-rounded, healthy, and affectionate dogs that they would not otherwise receive in a shelter environment. Our commitment does not end when the dog is adopted. Path of Hope offers post adoption owner support including information on making the dog’s transition to your home a smooth one; recommendations for Preferred Trainers; advice on pet behavior and wellness topics; Facebook litter groups to keep in touch with fellow adopters; and invitations to local rescue hosted events. Please visit https://www.pathofhoperescue.com/ for more information about our organization and the adoption process. ##1418370##
