MEET BUDDY! Buddy is a charming 70-pound, male, American Staffordshire Terrier that is ready for his furever home. You can contact PAWS Rescue inc or Rilo’s Rescue to bring home your new best friend. Buddy is a bundle of love just waiting to be your best friend! Don’t let his size fool you—Buddy is a certified cuddle bug who adores his people and thrives on affection. His foster family says he’s a gentle giant who gets along wonderfully with the other dogs in their home, making him a great addition to a multi-dog household. Buddy is already housebroken, kennel trained, and ready for adventure. While he’s still learning his leash manners, he’s eager to please and quick to pick up new skills. With a little patience and love, he’ll be the perfect walking companion in no time. Buddy is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on all his vaccinations, so he’s healthy and ready to settle into his forever home. While his compatibility with cats is unknown, a cat test can be arranged if needed. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate companion who’s always ready for a cuddle, Buddy is your guy. Don’t miss out on this special pup—he’s ready to bring joy, love, and plenty of tail wags into your life!

Story
75 pounds of lap dog, and what more could you ask for from a dog like Oso? Oso is a true gentle giant, a homebody lover boy looking for a quiet life as your resident snuggle bug. He loves kids, and he’s amazing with other dogs. He’s soft and gentle and dreamy! We think Oso is a Pittie mix of some sort. He is a rescue, so his exact age and breed are unknown to us and cannot be guaranteed. We estimate his age to be around 5 years old, and he has the mellow temperament to prove it! Fall in love with Oso here: https://youtu.be/YQYJwaFwujs?si=-TH1rgc1zNVOlH-n Oso is a sweet snuggly boy. He loves to kiss, hug and snuggle. Couch snuggles are his favorite, and he’s gentle with his snuggles. No hard tail thwacks or sudden rough jumps into your space, Oso just wants a relaxing snuggle, preferably one that lasts most of the day and well into the night. Oso is an adoring boy- and children are no exception. He did great meeting a thirteen year old, and showed off his “sit” skills with her for treats! While Oso is amazing with children, he is a mellow soul, and the jumps, pokes, and yelling of little ones can sometimes interfere with his mellow state of mind. He would prefer a home with kids twelve and up, and we think he would absolutely thrive as a family dog. Oso is great with other dogs, he does well with dogs of all sizes and energy levels. He is small dog friendly, and has been fostered with small dogs before! He is not overly playful with other dogs, but will play if engaged with. He is incredibly tolerant, and here at the rescue we sometimes use him in behavior assessments with our more unruly dogs, because he is so unbothered! We think Oso would do best in a home with a low to medium energy doggy sibling. Oso is incredibly friendly with everyone he meets, but in our experience he prefers lazy Sundays at home to nights out on the town. He’s great in the car, but gets a little uncomfortable in crowded spaces. He’s a low maintenance boy, happy to hang back at the house while you galavant about town. Oso’s perfect home will have at least one loving human to keep him company, a couch to snuggle, and lots of treats to munch on. At this time, we recommend a kitty-free home for Oso. He would do well with doggy siblings, but could thrive as a solo dog. He could make a wonderful family dog! We think Oso would prefer a home in a more residential area, the countryside or suburbia, to city living. He’s a gentle, mellow boy, and city life is not for him. With any questions, please reach out to his adoption coordinator, whose email is linked below. We are willing to test Oso with anything you need us to in order to ensure he’s the perfect match for you! We can make most anything happen! Just let us know. We have over 15,000 successful adoptions so far and have excellent Google Reviews: https://g.co/kgs/UQ5Pyai We care deeply about making the perfect match between dog and family for long term success. Our rescue has a 2 acre property in Texas where we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group trainings and socialization play groups to keep dogs adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers support the positive growth of our dogs and we enjoy seeing their progress! Our commitment to comprehensive medical care sets us apart. We've received glowing feedback from veterinarians who commend our dedication to ensuring the health and well-being of every animal in our care with treatments that often go above and beyond. Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet. The rescue’s hard costs alone for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,120. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that Three Little Pitties Rescue is not government funded. It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these SPECIAL PERKS: ● Extensive behavioral testing and information from trainers on our staff to ensure the perfect fit for your family ● Discounts on Embark DNA test kit- $30 off of Breed ID test & $50 off of Breed ID plus Health test ● 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion ● A free private online dog training session with GoodPup, plus low pricing for future sessions ● 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a delicious PNW based fresh dog meatballs subscription ● Coupons for a fun visit to Petco ● 20% off of Dr. Cuddles pet first aid and hygiene solutions ● Discounted heartworm, flea prevention, and monthly dewormer ● Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! Did you know that the Greater Houston area faces some of the highest stray and overpopulation rates in the nation? We are a non profit charity. Story
Hello! My name is Zander, and I came here through my local animal control. My past is a bit of a mystery, so it’s unknown how I would do with other dogs, young children, or cats. What I do know is that I love to play, play, play! I’m looking for someone who’s ready to teach me some manners—while I already know a few basic commands, I’m eager to learn more, especially if treats are involved. I’m a good boy who would thrive with an experienced bully breed owner. If you think this handsome face could be your perfect companion, come meet me! Just make sure you have the time, space, and resources to give me a loving home for life.

Story
This is the biggest Kitten you will see today! This Kitten is a big, lovable girl who is bouncy and playful, with a contagious amount of happiness. This girl loves her people from the moment she meets them! During her assessment, Kitten couldn’t wait to get closer for some pets and cuddles, her tail wagging the entire time. Take a look at her in action then come back to read more! https://youtu.be/khACr1hwNEU Estimated to be 3 years old and weighing 73 lbs, she is fully grown, and we cannot dance around it, she is a big girl. Given her size and eagerness to experience all the amazing things the world has to offer, a handler that can physically handle her while keeping her focus. She listens well and is very attentive. Plus she is treat motivated which will only help when it comes time to practice leash skills or obedience. Kitten would thrive in a home with older children and adults who appreciate her affectionate, people-centered personality. Because of her size and excitement, she’d do best with kids who are steady on their feet. She would also do well in a home with another dog. Kitten does well with other dogs, especially confident, playful males who like to have a good time and don’t mind a big, bouncy playmate. She recently met a few dogs including an energetic and playful male, and she handled his pushy play style beautifully. She has a balanced way of playing—happy to engage but able to set boundaries if another dog is too rowdy. Kitten would love a moderately playful canine friend in her new home For a family who wants a loyal, attentive companion, Kitten’s affectionate nature is going to feel amazing, her and that happy heart are a real treasure. Because of her size and occasionally bouncy happiness, she’d be a great fit for a home with older kids who can handle her big-hearted energy. And despite her name Kitten is not meant for a kitten. Basically, no cats for Kitten! She’s a little too interested in them and might find it hard to resist chasing a feline friend around the house. If you’re ready to introduce people to you new 73lb Kitten, she is just as ready! Kitten is looking to share her big hearted excitement for life. Could that be with you and yours? Story
Mister is a joyful, sweet-natured boy with a heart as big as his smile! This handsome guy is the perfect mix of playfulness and cuddles—he’s always up for a game of fetch with his favorite ball, followed by cozy snuggles with his people. Mister is one of those dogs who can light up any room with his wagging tail and infectious, happy grin. Friendly, adventurous, and great with kids, Mister is truly the total package. He does well with other dogs as long as introductions are balanced and easy-going. However, Mister is not a fan of feline friends, so he would do best in a cat-free home. Potty-trained and crate-trained, he’s got great manners and is ready to fit right into your home with ease. Mister is currently heartworm positive, but don’t worry—his treatment will be covered, and he's ready to heal up in a loving, forever home. If you're looking for a loyal, affectionate, and spirited companion who will shower you with kisses and fill your days with joy, Mister is waiting for you! Heartworm is unfortunately quite common in Texas due to the warm, humid climate that allows mosquitoes, which spread heartworm, to thrive year-round. Many dogs in Texas face this risk, but the good news is that heartworm treatment is very effective. With proper medical care, including the treatment provided at adoption, dogs can fully recover and go on to lead long, healthy, and happy lives. With preventive medication, heartworm can be kept at bay, allowing dogs to enjoy an active, fulfilling life with their families. To add Mister to your family, simply send us an email at springbranchrescue@gmail.com for adoption and fee information. He is wagging his tail and wiggling his butt at just the thought of finding his forever home and his story is just beginning! His next chapter could be with you! Our adoption fee includes transport, all age required shots, microchip, & a health certificate from a licensed veterinarian. We look forward to receiving your application! We will review it shortly and give you a call to set up a phone interview.  We are thrilled to offer transport services every 3 weeks from Houston to the Pacific Northwest, the Midwest, and the East Coast, ensuring that these incredible pets can find their way to you no matter where you are. This makes the adoption process smooth and convenient, allowing you to focus on welcoming your new family member with open arms. Why should you adopt from a Texas Rescue? Because you will be giving one of our many dogs and cats in need a chance for a better future away from a city that has an animal crisis. We are heartbroken each day with the many incredible and loving animals found wandering our streets. So often are these animals dumped, abandoned, or born on the streets and never find a home to call their own. We are giving them the chance that every animal deserves. We know that since you are looking to add a furry family member to your home here, you will provide the love, care, and attention they need to thrive. Thank you for considering adopting and not shopping. ##2219801##
