Story
Your best friend, your cuddle buddy, your kid’s first rescue dog- meet Divinity, the most darling little angel looking for forever love. Divinity is described by those that know her best as medium to low energy, affectionate and sweet. She’s a couch potato, a snuggle bug, and absolutely adorable.
Estimated to be around 3 years old, Divinity is a mellow, gentle soul. She’s the kind of dog who makes you feel like the luckiest person alive just by being near you—whether it's cuddling on the couch or enjoying a peaceful walk together. We believe that Divinity is a Bulldog, Staffordshire terrier mix, but she is a rescue, so these are just our best guesses. Petite and very pick-up-able, Divinity weighs in at a thick 43 pounds.
Meet sweet Divinity here:
Divinity is the perfect mix of calm and affectionate. She’s incredibly people-oriented and loves nothing more than being the center of attention, soaking up all the snuggles and affection you can give. Divinity’s calm nature makes her more of a watcher than a whiner, she’s very affectionate but not overly needy about it. She’s a people-watcher, a dog-watcher, and a total wallflower in playgroups with other dogs.
She meets other dogs with ease and grace, but she’s not overly energetic with them. She’s not a rambunctious player, she’s more of a co-exist-er with other dogs. She’s very tolerant with the pushiest of dogs here at the rescue, and she shares well with other dogs. Divinity doesn’t show signs of jealousy when treats or affection are involved, she’s just grateful for your goodness and happy for everyone involved. She’s such a sweet little angel! Divinity has met dogs of all sizes, and even does well with small scruffy dogs. She could coexist in a home with just about any type of dog, but she would be equally happy as your one and only.
Divinity has an unmatched love for people, she’s an adoring soul with so much love to give. She’s gentle and calm with new people, cozying up to everyone she meets rather quickly. Her love for people extends to children as well, she has met children as young as four and done well with all of them. She’s gentle, sweet and affection-seeking with everyone she meets.
Divinity is also a breeze to take out and about in public. She’s easy on leash, good in the car, and friendly with everyone. Divinity’s chill, loving nature makes her a perfect adventure dog—like the time she joined her rescue humans on a Christmas parade float. She sat back, relaxed on the trailer, and eventually curled up in a cozy blanket for a nap. It’s just in her nature to make everything feel warm and peaceful.
Everyone who meets Divinity instantly falls in love with her, and it’s so easy to see why. If you’re looking for a sweet, snuggly best friend who will be loyal and loving every single day, Divinity is ready to join your family and shower you with all the love she’s got in her tiny little body. Divinity is a perfect family dog. She would do well in a home with children or other dogs, but she would be just as happy as your only child. She is low-maintenance and low to medium energy, a perfect fit for a retired couple looking for canine companionship. We are willing to test Divinity with anything you need us to in order to ensure she’s the perfect match for you! We can make most anything happen! Just let us know.

https://g.co/kgs/UQ5Pyai We care deeply about making the perfect match between dog and family for long term success.
Our rescue has a 2 acre property in Texas where we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group trainings and socialization play groups to keep dogs adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers support the positive growth of our dogs and we enjoy seeing their progress!
Our commitment to comprehensive medical care sets us apart. We've received glowing feedback from veterinarians who commend our dedication to ensuring the health and well-being of every animal in our care with treatments that often go above and beyond.
Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet.
The rescue’s hard costs alone (excluding transport) for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,368. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the adoption fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. Transport is a significant additional expense to the rescue.
While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that the rescue does not receive government funding and must fundraise to offset the remaining expense balance which ranges $100-1,000++ per animal on these direct costs.
It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these SPECIAL PERKS:

Did you know that the Greater Houston area faces some of the highest stray and overpopulation rates in the nation? We are a non profit charity. Our goal is simple— to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and by rescuing animals from the streets or overcrowded shelters where euthanasia due to lack of space is often the only option. The dog you've found online is not only lucky to be in our program, but also incredibly fortunate to have caught your eye. Thank you for considering adoption and for joining us in our mission!
Follow our rescue journey and connect with us on our website and social media platforms. Together, we can make a difference, one adoption at a time.
