Story
I adopted Jada for a shelter 3.5 months ago. She’s a 1.75 year old spayed pit bull mix. Jada needs an active family who is willing to spend time training her. I am unable to give her enough consistent exercise. Jada is very sweet and cuddly if she’s had enough exercise. She’s playful and very smart. She’s highly food motivated and very athletic. She loves to run and jump. For this reason, I wouldn’t recommend a home with small children. Jada has anxiety, particularly around separation and confinement. She needs someone to work with her on these issues with positive reinforcement. We’ve made progress, but I think consistent exercise like running, long hikes, etc. is the secret to Jada making true progress. Jada is easy to train with a clicker and treats. She knows sit, down, stay, look at me, and come pretty reliably.

Story
Mister is a joyful, sweet-natured boy with a heart as big as his smile! This handsome guy is the perfect mix of playfulness and cuddles—he’s always up for a game of fetch with his favorite ball, followed by cozy snuggles with his people. Mister is one of those dogs who can light up any room with his wagging tail and infectious, happy grin. Friendly, adventurous, and great with kids, Mister is truly the total package. He does well with other dogs as long as introductions are balanced and easy-going. However, Mister is not a fan of feline friends, so he would do best in a cat-free home. Potty-trained and crate-trained, he’s got great manners and is ready to fit right into your home with ease. Mister is currently heartworm positive, but don’t worry—his treatment will be covered, and he's ready to heal up in a loving, forever home. If you're looking for a loyal, affectionate, and spirited companion who will shower you with kisses and fill your days with joy, Mister is waiting for you! Heartworm is unfortunately quite common in Texas due to the warm, humid climate that allows mosquitoes, which spread heartworm, to thrive year-round. Many dogs in Texas face this risk, but the good news is that heartworm treatment is very effective. With proper medical care, including the treatment provided at adoption, dogs can fully recover and go on to lead long, healthy, and happy lives. With preventive medication, heartworm can be kept at bay, allowing dogs to enjoy an active, fulfilling life with their families. To add Mister to your family, simply send us an email at springbranchrescue@gmail.com for adoption and fee information. He is wagging his tail and wiggling his butt at just the thought of finding his forever home and his story is just beginning! His next chapter could be with you! Our adoption fee includes transport, all age required shots, microchip, & a health certificate from a licensed veterinarian. We look forward to receiving your application! We will review it shortly and give you a call to set up a phone interview.  We are thrilled to offer transport services every 3 weeks from Houston to the Pacific Northwest, the Midwest, and the East Coast, ensuring that these incredible pets can find their way to you no matter where you are. This makes the adoption process smooth and convenient, allowing you to focus on welcoming your new family member with open arms. Why should you adopt from a Texas Rescue? Because you will be giving one of our many dogs and cats in need a chance for a better future away from a city that has an animal crisis. We are heartbroken each day with the many incredible and loving animals found wandering our streets. So often are these animals dumped, abandoned, or born on the streets and never find a home to call their own. We are giving them the chance that every animal deserves. We know that since you are looking to add a furry family member to your home here, you will provide the love, care, and attention they need to thrive. Thank you for considering adopting and not shopping. ##2219801##

Story
Available for adoption in TX, NE and PNW! Meet Ellie! This adorable cuddle companion is in search of her forever home! She delights in leisurely strolls and cherishes moments spent with her humans. Upon meeting new faces, she promptly snuggles into their laps, seeking affectionate pets and gentle scratches. While she might not excel as a guard dog, beware, for she'll effortlessly steal your heart with her endearing puppy dog eyes. Ellie isn't too keen on toys; she much prefers belly rubs and affectionate booty scratches. Outdoors, she explores with curiosity, sniffing around and trotting here and there. She's not overly active and finds contentment in a cozy couch, occasional pets, and brief walks. In essence, she's more of a "Netflix and chill" kind of gal. When it comes to other dogs, Ellie has her preferences, so a meet-and-greet with potential canine companions is recommended. She has experience with cats and gets along well with them. Additionally, she has been around children and relishes their company. Ellie is crate trained, spayed, fully vaccinated, heartworm negative, and on preventatives. She's currently being fostered in Seguin, TX, awaiting her forever family. To see more pictures and videos, copy and paste this link. A testament to his adaptability, Granger is both kennel and potty trained, demonstrating discipline and understanding of boundaries.
