Story
Daphne was adopted by our family 7 years ago as a kitten. The last few years she has gotten more stressed and less tolerant of our other animals. Daphne is an INDOOR ONLY cat. Ideally she needs a person who will dote on her as the only pet in the household. She is quirky, sweet, and extremely loving. Daphne is not a high energy cat. Toys are not her thing. She loves to stay near her favorite people for pets and cuddles. Daphne is not shy around humans.

Story
Aristocrat is my big, lovable boy who just wants to chill and be fed (seriously, he loves food—so watch out if you have other pets at mealtime!). He’s super relaxed, loves to be held, and will either curl up in your lap or just plop down on the floor for a nap. He’s grown up around a Rottweiler, so dogs don’t faze him at all. He also does great in louder homes—he’s not the type to get spooked by noise or chaos, he just vibes through it all. The only thing to know is that he’s not neutered since I couldn’t afford it, so that’s something his future home should keep in mind. I’m moving across the country for school and can’t take him with me, which is really tough. I just want to find him a loving home where he can keep living his best, lazy life. If you think Aristocrat sounds like your kind of cat, please reach out! I just want to make sure he ends up somewhere safe and loved. ❤️

Story
This is Coraline, my tiny, blue-grey sweetheart who’s barely 7 pounds (if that!). She’s got the cutest little face and a quiet, curious personality. She’s a little shy at first, but once she trusts you, she’s super sweet and loves to just hang out near a window, watching the world go by. ☀️ She’s great with other cats and doesn’t mind dogs, but a super loud or chaotic home might not be the best fit for her. She’s a bit particular when it comes to her litter box—she needs it really clean every day and is picky about the type of litter, so she’d do best with someone who’s patient and understanding of her little quirks. I’ve had Coraline since she was born—her mom was a stray we found in a box in the rain while she was pregnant. So, this is really hard for me. 💔 But I’m moving across the country for school and can’t take her with me, and I just want to find the best possible home where she’ll be safe, loved, and cared for. Good with cats,
Story
Mystery is a sweet tabby cat that was abandoned in our neighborhood and is in need of a loving home. One of the other neighborhood cats brought her to my door and we started feeding her. It's obvious that she was someone's cat at some point because she's super friendly and loves being petted. I would love to keep her but I already have a full house of cats that we've rescued over the years. I want Mystery to be able to find a family to love and take care of her.

CLIFFHANGER IS IN HER FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS TN AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO VA ONCE SHE IS ADOPTED! This is Cliffhanger, a lovely tabby/white small female kitty who was born around 6/28/2023.  She is very affectionate and playful. She loves NAPS.  If you cannot find her, she is likely snuggled up taking a nap.  The perfect work-from-home companion kitty.  She loves to play and loves all cat toys and is definitely loads of fun. She loves to find an open drawer to snuggle in and she is very inquisitive. She could probably be a single kitty, but would also do well with a friendly low-key kitty.  She has never been around dogs and is not recommended for a dog home. She is neutered, has had all age appropriate vaccines, microchip, and a confirmed NEGATIVE FIV/FeLV test.  The adoption fee of $295 also includes the transport to CT.  We use a licensed and registered USDA transport company that will bring her up north once she is adopted. If you are interested in adopting, please go to our website and complete an online application using this link: http://www.newbeginningsanimalrescue.net.   Once your application is received and processed you will be contacted by an NBAR Volunteer.
