They are all super sweet and playful and love soaking up all the love and attention! At the time you are seeing this post, this cat is still available for adoption. But please know that we may be working on multiple applications already, and any one of them could be approved at any time. Please READ THIS ENTIRE DESCRIPTION and complete an adoption application if you are interested in any of our animals. The application can be found at https://greendogsunleashed.org. If you send an inquiry to ask if the cat is still available, or just tell us you are interested, your inquiry will not be answered. FILL OUT AN APPLICATION. We can do NOTHING without that. */*/* PLEASE NOTE: We will email you if additional information is needed, so please keep an eye on your inbox and spam folders. */*/* Young kittens will receive age-appropriate vaccines and will be spayed/neutered before adoption. Adopters may be required to provide additional boosters and a rabies vaccine. Future annual vaccines, testing, and healthcare are REQUIRED, and will be the financial responsibility of the adopter. Please note you must submit an application, be approved, and submit a refundable hold deposit before a meet and greet will be scheduled. You can fill out an application here: https://greendogsunleashed.org/adopt While we do allow out-of-state adoptions, the adopter must be able to travel to Charlottesville, Virginia, and meet in person at an agreed-upon time to take their cat home. GDU does ask for a minimum adoption donation of $125.00 for cats. This minimum donation does not cover all expenses as we are funded solely by the angels and volunteers willing to donate time and finances. This minimum donation includes age-appropriate vaccines and flea and tick treatment, as well as neutering or spaying if the animal is medically sound and is unable to undergo surgery. This minimum donation does not even begin to cover each animal's expenses while in rescue, but does go directly towards vet care for our rescue animals. ##2202798##

Story
Meet Wilhelmina Wilhelmina is a one-year-old cat with a calm demeanor and a gentle spirit. She’s one of our Western North Carolina hurricane rescues, and after an eventful start to life as a young mom, she’s almost ready to find her forever home. She has a gentle and affectionate nature, ready to bring warmth and companionship to a quiet home. She’s calm and easy to groom, even during baths, nail trims, and handling, and she’s never shown a hint of aggression—just her sweet and gentle personality shining through. She even tolerates the vacuum and the steam cleaner running nearby. This vocal girl loves to communicate with soft meows and chirps, adding a little extra personality to your days. She’s playful and curious, enjoying everything from stuffed mice and wand toys to ropes and springs. Despite her playful side, she has a calm demeanor and loves to relax in your lap for some quality cuddle time. While she has been fine with kiddos, she would likely be most comfortable with mature kids or older adults who can match her calm and affectionate personality. Wilhelmina is also a dream in practical ways—she’s excellent with her litter box and travels well in a crate, making trips stress-free. If you’re looking for a calm, affectionate, and gentle companion who will happily keep you company, Wilhelmina is ready to meet you! You can apply to adopt her on our website.   At the time you are seeing this post, this cat is still available for adoption. Story
Meet Cypress, the quirky and charming kitty with a serious love for snack time—especially if you’ve got a bag of Lay’s chips! This fun-loving feline is always on the lookout for his next crunchy treat, and he’s not shy about sneaking a few from your stash. Cypress also has a soft side; he loves basking in sunbeams, curling up in soft blankets, and getting all the cuddles he can. When he’s not lounging, he’s busy being a fearless bug chaser, always ready to pounce on any little critter that crosses his path. If you’re looking for a playful, cuddly companion with a taste for the finer (and crunchier) things in life, Cypress is your guy! ????
