Story
Welcome the Baby Bears! These little fluff beasts came from a feral dog colony in central Washington. They were born on 01/01/2025, ringing in the new year in a pile of garbage on a vacant porch.  They have been DNA tested and are a mix of American Pit Bull Terrier and Siberian Husky among other breeds. Feel free to explore their profile here: http://embk.me/smokey1515?utm_campaign=cns_ref_dog_pub_profile&utm_medium=other& These puppies are going to be hearty with tolerance for a broad spectrum of weather. They will be independent and strong minded, and in adulthood they may be wary of unknown people. They have thick dense coats and will require professional grooming to avoid matting and impaction of undercoat. Because they come from a multigenerational dog colony where minimal social interaction occured, special care must be taken to acclimate them to bodily handling and experiencing social settings throughout adolescents.  Yogi is a confident and collected puppy with a big personality. He checks out new stimulus with a level head and a lack of fear. He is the only short coated puppy of the litter but still has a very dense double coat and will be a heavy shedder who benefits from routine brushing and professional grooming to blow out his undercoat.  Each puppy is well on their way to the good life. They are accustomed to wearing a collar, are crate trained, litter box trained, and have begun house training. They have experience with dogs, cats, kids, car rides, hiking, and public settings. The Baby Bears will come spayed or neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and dewormed.  The adoption fee is $300 and includes a leash, collar, ID tag, food sample, medical records, and some bonus goodies. To be considered to adopt, please begin by visiting www.murcismission.org and sending in an application.  ##2288993##

Because they come from a multigenerational dog colony where minimal social interaction occured, special care must be taken to acclimate them to bodily handling and experiencing social settings throughout adolescents.  Paddington is a beautiful puppy with crystal blue eyes and a thick long sable coat. She is cautious but curious about the world and likes to hang back and watch new things before committing to investigating further. She will need routine brushing and professional grooming to keep from becoming matted.  Paddington has a profound overbite and will need dental surgery once her adult teeth grow in so that her lower canine teeth are not penetrating the roof of her mouth. Murci's Mission will sponsor this care and Fozzie will go home with a medical waiver for dental evaluation at 8-12 months.  Each puppy is well on their way to the good life. Because they come from a multigenerational dog colony where minimal social interaction occured, special care must be taken to acclimate them to bodily handling and experiencing social settings throughout adolescents.  Fozzie is a reasonable and affectionate puppy that approaches new stimulus with curious neutrality. She can be a touch shy with things that are loud or fast. She has a plush mid length coat that will require brushing and could benefit from professional grooming to blow out her undercoat.  Fozzie has a profound overbite and will need dental surgery once her adult teeth grow in so that her lower canine teeth are not penetrating the roof of her mouth. Murci's Mission will sponsor this care and Fozzie will go home with a medical waiver for dental evaluation at 8-12 months.  Fozzie also experienced a major trauma to her right front foot before coming to MM. She will always have a large scar on that foot and may develope arthritis in the limb later in life. She should not be allowed to become overweight and add extra tax to the limb. Story
Bandit's adventure spirit brings joy to everyone in his life. Though dealt a bad deck of cards previously, this awesome dog is living his best life.  The injury is unknown, and we were never able to get any real information, so we just concentrate on his care.  Our doctors all agree he is not in pain. We just keep him comfortable and enjoying life.   Bandit likes playing with the other dogs, he is super fast on his wheels and loves to go on runs thru the woods. He is a champion cuddler.   He will come with his chair and ski mods, and we can do some training if you are wanting to adopt this special guy, but are not sure about the aids and how they help with the day to day.  He doesn't need his chair all the time. He spends most of the time out of it, actually.  He has some use of his legs, and gets around the yard quite well.  Check out his videos! Here is what his foster mom has to say:  Sweet and pretty chill. Lots of naps and doesn’t like getting off the couch in the mornings lol he gets zoomies like other dogs just a little wobbly lol. Loves car rides and his daily walks. Gets along with other dogs. Will chase cats.   The adoption fee is $100 and Bandit has all his vaccinations, microchip, neuter and more. ##940630##
