Story
Meet Dipper, the 1-year-old dashing brindle boy with tiger stripes and a heart of gold (even if it takes a minute for him to show it)! At 57 pounds, this one-year-old Scooby-Doo runner is a charming mix of shy, sweet, and slightly goofy. He may approach new friends with a tucked tail and a little flinch, but don’t be fooled; once he knows you’re cool, he transforms into a bouncing, bowing buddy who can’t get enough pets and treats. Dipper is a bit of a treat connoisseur and has mastered the art of the gentle snack grab (we’re talking five-star paw-dining etiquette). While he`s a little hesitant on first approach, the moment you call him over, he’s all zoomies and wiggles. This guy has perfected the “not-so-smooth-but-totally-endearing” Scooby-Doo dash—just call his name, and watch as he takes off on a wobbly, joyful sprint straight to you! He`s polite on the leash, respects personal space, and is curious to explore without crossing any lines. Dipper’s looking for a patient home that understands his shy side, loves his playful side, and is ready to enjoy a lifetime of brindle-coated zoomies, endless treats, and one sweet boy who’s so worth the wait. Come meet Dipper and see if you’re the missing piece to his perfect pack! The dog adoption fee is $90. They come spayed/neutered, microchipped, first set of vaccines including DHPP (parvo combo), Bordatella (kennel cough), and Pyrantel (dewormer). Our website updates every hour, but some animals may be adopted faster than we can get them updated online. If you`d like to check on the status of an animal, please call us at 360-352-2510. This is especially important if you are viewing this animal on any site other than Animal Services` website.

We know that there is an outdated perception that pit bulls are `aggressive` dogs, but Ritz is an obvious example of how lovable, gentle, and sweet the breed truly is. Ritz holds the belief that he is a 65 pound lap dog through and through. Yup. He`s just a big sweet baby boy. Ritz is looking for a home and it obvious that he will fill his new home with a very special kind of love. And who wouldn`t want that?? The dog adoption fee is $90. They come spayed/neutered, microchipped, first set of vaccines including DAPP (parvo combo), Bordatella (kennel cough), have been dewormed with Pyrantel, and have been treated with selamectin for fleas. Our website updates every hour, but some animals may be adopted faster than we can get them updated online. If you`d like to check on the status of an animal, please call us at 360-352-2510. Story
Rosie has lots of love to give! She loves people and other dogs, and is always looking to make a new friend. She was adopted in January and we work on positive-reinforcement based training throughout our daily routine. She is making great progress with leash walking, impulse control, engage/disengage, and boundaries. I am so proud of how far she has come in our time together! Rosie is high-energy and has a very high prey drive triggered by squirrels. New things are very exciting for her, so she needs patience from her humans as she learns how to experience the world by going slowly. She also needs lots of engagement/mental stimulation, and will need a home that is prepared to continue working on training. Unfortunately, I feel that I can no longer fully meet her needs with my work schedule. I used to be able to work from home part of the day but that is changing. I live alone in an apartment. Rosie would be so happy with space to run around and play with another dog friend!

Story
I need a home ASAP  - at risk! My adoption fee has been reduced since I am a sweet black dog.   I want to be  your spoiled Prince! I NEED MY HOME! Please contact us to submit an application directly at Kzyrnr17@yahoo.com or info@dogdiggityrescue.com or  https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/HTX/Exotic/Other  Robbie is 4 yr 9 Mos old 45 lb PitbullTerrier mix. I am an energetic and affectionate lad with humans (esp female humans). I will do best as single companion dog  (if adopted out of local area) but I can have doggie friends that I meet.  My best friend at the Shelter is Jasper, a Pointer if you want two dogs..   I am a great  companion for an active family with women (two girlfriends/two life partners/mother and daughter....get my drift?)  in the home and a secure 6 ft fence, children over 12 years of age.  I can get used to kind/soft personality men without facial hair and do not wear a uniform.  Did I mention I LOVE WOMEN! Bully breed mix experience is required.  I am an indoor dog.  I like walk/hikes, toys, dog beds and lounging with human women.     No apartments or rentals. No cats! Note - I have been in rescue care 1327 days and my care takers are sad as I am very sweet and still yearn patiently for my home to call my own.  L & S Dog Diggity Rescue is headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, where there are over 800,000 homeless pets. We save homeless and abandoned dogs and find them loving forever homes in other areas, where pet homelessness is not epidemic. All of our pets are located here, in San Antonio, and we partner with  rescues to provide transportation for our pets to their new homes. Our adoption fee includes vet care (vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchipping, ,etc), as well as transportation and health certificate. Please contact us to ask about our adoption process and our adoption fees.   November 5, 2024, 6:27 am
