Story
About Zuma, (Katlyn ADOPTED), Rebel, and Skye You may have heard the background story on Zuma, Rebel, Katlyn, and Skye. Some months back, they were rescued from a suspected dogfighting ring. At that time, they were very underweight and had other health issues. At the shelter they received medical treatment and were given a healthy diet. They have gained weight and are now healthy. They went through behavior assessment and all were given passing grades. These are friendly and playful pups. All four are believed to be about a year old. Rebel (44 lb.) and Zuma (47 lb.) are male. Katlyn (41 lb.) and Skye (44 lb.) are female. It is now time for these young dogs to learn what it is like to live in loving homes. They need homes with no kids under 10 years of age and with no other same sex dogs. Please call the shelter at (360) 678-8901 if you have questions about these dogs. Considerations No kids under 10 No other same sex dogs

Bella was rescued off the streets of Texas, not much is known about her past prior to her rescue. After being fostered down in Texas while she healed she came up to RED September 25, 2020 as a medical rescue She is currently in foster care in Poulsbo where she is working on her basic obedience, leash skills and crate training. In playgroup Bella has been around multiple dogs, she can be pushy so would need a dog friend who is tolerant of that. Story
**THIS DOG IS NOT AVAILABLE FOR VIEWING AT THE SHELTER.* If you see an animal you`re interested in, fill out an adoption questionnaire on our website https://everettwa.gov/161/Adopt-a-PetBuddy is a handsome fella looking for his forever home. His ideal family would have previous bully breed experience and own their own home. Buddy would do best in a home with a polite, playful female dog or may be content to be your one and only, a meet and greet is required with any resident canines. This guy will require a feline free home. We don`t have any history on this sweet guy with children so children in the home should be 10 years and older as he is a strong, energetic dude. Buddy is an expert escape artist and will need to have a good confinement plan and supervision when outside.Buddy went out with our Wandering Rover program and they had this to say about him: Buddy is an amazing dog! He does very well in the car while it is moving! When you stop, he likes to talk and whine but he stops as soon as you start driving again! He walks very well on the leash and has definitely had previous training as I got him to sit and speak!! He seems more food motivated than toy but he still carried a stuffed animal around the park! Buddy has some separation anxiety and would need someone that can spend time with him!Another Rovers said: We took Buddy for a car ride, a walk on a trail, a visit to Petco, and a picnic in the park. He was fairly high anxiety for the first hour or so, especially in the car, but he did calm down after getting to know us and going for a long walk. He did show some separation anxiety- if one of us walked away he would whine until we came back. We had a great time with Buddy. He is anxious at first but settled down nicely after a walk and some time. He loves to walk and sniff and had a lot of fun walking on some trails. We took him to Petco and he was very good. He met a ton of people and did great- he even picked a toy and carried it up to the register himself- so cute! He takes treats like a gentleman, but doesn’t seem very food motivated. Overall, Buddy is a sweet and sensitive boy and with some time and patience his personality really shines.

Story
Howdy, aren't you just as sweet as a peach! It's a mighty fine pleasure meeting you! My name is Abilene and I'm a down to Earth nature girl who loves affection! I am looking for a family of huggers, lovers, sweeties, cuties, to take me in as one of their own! I love car rides, people, being a lap dog, playing with dogs (even ones smaller than me!), children and expending energy all day all the time! I'll need activity and exercise to keep me healthy and happy, a walk here and there, but I know you'll be able to provide that for lil ole me! Some basic information about me; I am a cool gal, American Pitbull mix, female, and large-sized (60-99lbs) with Golden-Cream coloring. I am potty trained, crate trained, and leash trained though sometimes I get a bit excited! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)
