Meet Glinda, a stunning grey Pitbull mix with charming white boots that sparkle like a pair of magical slippers. Much like her namesake from Wicked, Glinda is full of grace and potential, but her path to opening up takes a little time. Shy around new people, she’s more “I’m Not That Girl” at first—but don’t let that fool you. Once she trusts you, she reveals a personality so full of love, you’ll feel like you’ve been “Dancing Through Life” with her forever.
Glinda takes her time to warm up to strangers, preferring to observe quietly from the sidelines before deciding if you’re popular enough to join her inner circle. Since many of our adoptable dogs are in foster homes, appointments are highly recommended to ensure the animal you are interested in is currently at the shelter. Please call or e-mail the shelter to set up an appointment to meet and adopt!
Our adoption fees include the following: all of our dogs/puppies are current on vaccinations (DHPP and Rabies if over 3 months of age) at the point of adoption, dewormed, heartworm tested and current on preventative, microchipped, treated for fleas/ticks and are spayed or neutered. Our large dog adoption fee is generally $175 + tax. Our small dog and puppy adoption fee is generally $275+ tax. Adoption fees may vary in special circumstances. Due to space limitations, we do not hold dogs.
Because we are on a busy street, we require that all dogs leaving the shelter be in a carrier or on leash. All pets remain up for adoption until an approved application is processed and their adoption fee paid.
