Story
Meet Mickey your new best buddy! Unfortunately Mickey needs a new home due to my declining health. Mickey is a 2 year old pitbull / German shepherd mix that weighs about 70 pounds. He's crate trained, microchiped, and current on all his vaccines. He doesn't live with kids but there are kids at the house often who he does ok with. He can be too energetic for them. He does live with a smaller dog and a larger dog of which he does fine with. He likes to be in charge so other dogs would have to be pretty submissive. He can be very protective but has never had any incidents with dogs or people. He is so sweet and his purpose in life is just to be loved and be with his people. He loves to run and play in his yard. He would really enjoy walks but needs leash training. He loves watching other animals on TV! He does not get on the furniture but loves his beds and crate. Mickey does have some food allergies but does fine on a grain-free salmon dog food. He will come with his crate.

Story
Dottie is around 4 years old 65lb pit bull/boxer mix with a lot of love to give! She’s a sweet girl who loves to cuddle and play with toys. I have had her for a little over a year and she lives with another dog and 2 cats and does great with them all. She has had issues with some other dogs in the past, it really depends on personality and overstimulation. She was rescued from a kill shelter in Texas and was adopted out by a family, who unfortunately had a 14 year old son who abused her so she has some trauma around young men. She was returned to the shelter then I got her and she’s been a loving companion but I am currently pregnant with a boy and due to her history, I don’t feel comfortable having her around a baby. It breaks my heart to have to rehome her but I know I can find a family that would be a better fit.

Story
Midori is a social, people-loving, happy dog who lived her past 4+ months in a human homeless shelter where she was a staff favorite. Her former owner was staying there and left her there when they moved out. Midori is elated to be in the comforts of a foster home! Midori's adoption fee is waived because she does have resource guarding around food with other dogs. So she needs to be the only dog in the home. She does not resource guard food with people. And she actually LOVES to play with other dogs, so she is not aggressive to other dogs in general and can be around them and have play dates. She just cannot live in a home with another dog. - 1.5 years old and a petite 45 pounds - Possibly a Pit Bull mix, she has a thicker coat almost like a Lab - ADORES people and really wants all the attention and affection she can get. Equally friendly with men and women and no stranger danger. - We have not seen her with kids but she would probably do fine with kids ages 7+ years old - No cats. A little too interested. - Crate trained - Excellent with her potty habits - Knows "sit" and is very treat motivated to learn - Wiggly, loving dog eager to engage with anyone who will give her attention - Medium energy in the home and can settle. Higher energy while doing outdoor activities - Will play for a long time with another energetic dog friend Midori is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, heartworm tested negative and current on flea/tick/heartworm prevention. Her adoption fee includes a free wellness exam at one of our partner veterinary clinics in Oregon City, Milwaukie, Tualatin or Portland. Waived adoption fee to help her find a home. Fostered in Beaverton, Oregon APPLY TO ADOPT MIDORI ON OUR WEBSITE: WWW.AGAVEDOGS.ORG

Story
We got him from a family friend. Born 10-02-2023. He needs someone who has time to play and walk around with him, he loves to cuddle and is very patient when getting bathed (as long as the water is warm). He’ll eat all day if you let him and is smart with interactive toys/meals. He knows how to sit, shake, wait and when given a bowl of food will wait till someone says bon appetite or motions with their hand to go ahead. He enjoys bully sticks and frozen treats/meals. Doesn't have too much experience on a leash and doesn't like getting his ears cleaned or nails trimmed. He’s never shown any signs of aggression. Never had any accidents indoors and is kennel trained.

Story
Pit Bull Terrier 3 years old Male 50 pounds Kids · 10+ Dogs · Dog tolerant Cats · No What My Friends Say About Me: I’m a high-energy pup who loves staying active! Whether it’s running, hiking, or playing fetch, I’m always up for an adventure by your side. I thrive on human connection and would love to be your constant companion. Let’s explore the great outdoors together! My tail wags like crazy when I’m excited, which is pretty much all the time when I’m with you! The Type of Home I’m Looking For: I prefer to be the only dog in the house. I’m not always the best at playing with other pups and I don’t like cats, so a solo spot in your heart would make me happiest! I would be great with children over 10! I’m eager to learn and thrive on positive reinforcement training! I know a few basic commands already and with your guidance and some tasty treats, I can master lots of new tricks and behaviors. I can’t wait to show you what I can do! My adoption fee is $240 and includes neuter, microchip & registration, leash/collar, food sample, toy & treat packet.

Story
HI - I'M FLETCH! I'm a stunning, young (about 1 year, 2 months) brindle & white Pit Bull Terrier pup in need of a foster or forever home. I was rescued from a scary California shelter in the nick of time. I became urgent because I simply had a cold. Now I'm doing great, and am a happy puppy! I'm a lovable, dog-friendly boy who loves his humans, and loves to play with other dogs. I'm also good with kids though would do best with kids over 10. I'm very loving and eager to please. I weigh about 53 lbs currently, but am a growing pup. I have the most beautiful coat and sweet face and temperament. Can you foster or adopt me? Please email for an application.
