Story
This girl has the cutest heart shape on her nose and it is just a sign of what is on the inside. Chappel Daisy is her name and she is sweet, affectionate, people-loving and such a calm presence. She walks beautifully on leash, is gentle and patient around new environments, and has that lovely “soft, steady sidekick” energy that just adds a sense of peacefulness to your day. Plus she is great in the car and loads up easily! Hello new best adventure pal?
I can tell you a lot about her but you could also fast track this love affair by watching her video here- Plan on coming back after to read more, you know, to seal the deal!

If I could describe her simply- she is the type of dog who doesn’t rush toward chaos, she takes her time, watches, thinks, and is intentional in her connection. Basically, you feel chosen and it feels real nice! She adores affection and seeks out her people for comfort, leans in and soaks up all the love you're offering. She is a deeply loving, intuitive, people-centered dog who just wants a steady home, kind humans, and a peaceful life. You too? Well aren’t you lucky!?
Chappel Daisy has been fortunate enough to be fostered in a loving home with two other males, one who prides himself as the boss and the other who is just brigh sunshine and happy to be there. She did great with them both, fitting right in with their calm and confident approach to eachothers company. With new dogs it is easy to see Chappel Daisys “type.” She is clear in her preferences - she is not a fan of rowdy, in-your-face play and can become uncomfortable when a dogs energy is too pushy or high-energy. Simply, she can be turned off if they rush her or insist on interaction before she’s ready. She prefers calm, respectful dogs who give her space and allow her to warm up on her own timeline. A quiet, more aloof dog friend would be a great fit, but we could also easily see her thriving as someone’s one-and-only companion, which honestly may be where she feels happiest. It’s easy to see the appeal for a people centered girl like her.
Right now, she is may still be building confidence around a wide variety of other dogs, what is already so clear, though, is this- she is calm and offers a polite approach even when unsure or overwhelmed. While dogs around her may bounce and bustle, she calmly waits her turn, offers polite stillness instead of excitement and a sweetness that feels incredibly special to watch grow. We could see her doing well in an apartment with a quieter home lifestyle. Inside, she is calm and relaxed, and even outdoors she keeps things low-key. She may bark for attention when she sees people -not out of stress, but because she loves connection and can’t wait for you to shine some affection her way. Despite that, when she hears other dogs barking outside she is not going to join in just for the fun of it, her barks are communication- not just noise- and she corrects easily when reminded noise isnt needed.
She happened to very randomly meet a 4 and 7 year old recently when they sort of barged into a room she was in and despite the fact that they were wild and loud, Chappell was sooo patient, polite and gentle! She let them run by her and I could see she was happy and soft in her approach but she did not match their energy by running after them, she simply got close enough to enjoy them and let them come to her. Once they tuned into her and came over she did wonderfully with gentle petting and their quick but thoughtful interaction. As gentle as she can be we recommend older, dog-savvy kids because she is going to want interaction and snuggles and her love lean is something that might bowl over a little-little. The last thing she wants is to hurt a little with love. And the only one “no” we might insist on is cats. She has lived with a cat in her foster home and met our house cat during a day visit, with both her interest was enough for us to presume she would chase a cat and that is unwelcome chaos in most homes.
Sweet, rescue-dog love and appreciation are guaranteed with this girl and the fact that she is so darn cute and lovable is the cherry on top!
I'm pretty sure Chappel Daisy is the one you’ve been waiting/searching for!
