Story
Hello, meet Mona. I’ve had her since she was just a puppy, she was gifted to me by a coworker. She will be turning 6 this year, her birthday is on Halloween! Mona is a very sweet, silly and lazy dog. If you are a couch potato, she is a couch potato. But she is always ready to play. Mona’s biggest struggle is separation anxiety. She will need to go to a home with someone patient and compassionate who is willing to work on this with her and who is not gone for longer than a regular work day. She does need to be in a crate anytime you are not home as she can be destructive. She will come with an Impact crate. She will benefit from being the only pet as she is aggressive to my cat and has never been able to be around her despite being raised being exposed to her all the time. Mona is a challenge, but the love and sweetness she exudes is worth it. She will need to go home to an experienced pet owner who can accommodate her needs and love her despite them.

Story
Captain here, looking for a dog to lead the way? Consider me! I am loyal, goofy, and lots of fun! I can be nervous until we know each other better, but if you lived on the cold/hot hard streets you may be a little wary with new people too. Now, my time at the rescue has really really improved my life and I am SO MUCH more social and outgoing! I am a big, beautiful reddish-tan Pittie/Labrador mix with a white racing stripe down the middle of my chest! Our small canine family came to God's Dogs Rescue in a pickle, a rag tag group of Labradors and one pregnant female! We came to this safe haven with just 3 dogs and now we're a whole lot more! But all of us are now spayed and neutered and READY for furever families who won't leave us to run the streets and starve, we actually have gotten a little chunky, lol and REALLY HAPPY!! As Captain, I'll ensure that you are properly lead and motivated to get your day to day life moving! Well, that's because I need daily walks but besides the point! Some basic information about Captain; he is male, Pitbull/Labrador Retriever mix, and is medium/large-sized boy, at about 60#. Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)

We may never know what challenges Uncle Rico faced during his days as a stray, but the scars on his heart have healed with the warmth and care he received from his fosters. As he wags his tail gratefully, he knows that his journey to a better life had just begun. Personality: Uncle Rico is a charming and goofy fellow with a heart of gold. Ideal Home: Uncle Rico is in search of a forever home that will appreciate his playful spirit and embrace his loving heart. An active family or individual who enjoys outdoor activities and playtime would be an ideal match. I am looking for a family of huggers, lovers, sweeties, cuties, to take me in as one of their own! I love car rides, people, being a lap dog, playing with dogs (even ones smaller than me!), children and expending energy all day all the time! I'll need activity and exercise to keep me healthy and happy, a walk here and there, but I know you'll be able to provide that for lil ole me! Some basic information about me; I am a cool gal, American Pitbull mix, female, and large-sized (60-99lbs) with Golden-Cream coloring. Story
Meet Chance, a survivor with a heart full of love. His story is sadly familiar; he was abandoned in a field to fend for himself. Thankfully, a kind-hearted lady living nearby stepped in to help. She gave Chance the chance he needed to show just how much love and devotion he had to offer. In his foster home, Chance has proved to be quite the gentleman. He's house-trained and knows how to sit on command. But most importantly, he's a playful guy who thrives in the company of people. His foster mom does say he can be a bit pesky at times, but who can resist that playful spirit? Chance has a list of favorites that will make you smile. He adores playing tug-o-war and FETCH, and he's excellent at taking treats gently. He's an active pup, so he's looking for a family that enjoys adventures and keeping active. If you're ready to open your heart and home to a dog who's been through a lot and is ready to give his all, then Chance is the one. Don't miss the opportunity to make wonderful memories with this loving and loyal companion. Fill out your application today and give Chance the second chance he deserves! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)
