Story
Sammy is an approximately 2 yo. 60 lb., playful girl. Sammy has come to us pretty insecure but has gained confidence through her training and is doing fabulous. Sammy loves to play with toys. She loves to chase and tug and play with the ball. She's probably one of the most play driven dogs we've had so her adopter must enjoy fulfilling that drive. Once Sammy has had a good play session and some nice walks, she settles nicely with a good chew bone in her crate. Sammy walks well on leash, does well in her crate, is potty trained, knows general obedience, as well as the "place" command. We're looking for adopters who want to continue her training as well as provide her with the structured environment she's had at our rescue. She thrives in such a setting. Sammy is also very affectionate and loves a good snuggle session. She's a people dog who enjoys just hanging out with them, in typical pittie fashion. Sammy is a medium energy dog with a general calm temperament. She loves going on hikes and rides very well in the car. She does well with other friendly and respectful dogs. She was unsure of them when she came to us but slow introductions with our wonderful helper dogs have given her the ability to feel more comfortable and confident around them. She's been doing great with dogs her size. She doesn't quite know how to play properly but is slowly figuring it out. All of our adult dogs are spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and flea treated. They all receive training to make the transition as successful as possible. If you're interested in a meet, you must fill out an application on our website www.wallflowersshine.com/application. We always post updates and many videos of our dogs on our IG page, the_wallflowers_shine_project, under “stories” and “highlights”. Thank you for your interest in one of our dogs.

Story
Alina was born around 05/15/24. Her siblings were adopted and now it's time for this sweet girl to find a home of her own. Alina is confident and energetic. She loves nothing more than to play, either with the flirt pole, play tug, or fetch with her favorite ball. Alina has done well on hikes with multiple dogs. Even though she likes to chase during play, she has not shown any interest in our chickens or cats. She actually ignored them both. Alina does well in her crate and is learning how to nicely walk on leash. Alina is friendly with other dogs and enjoys to play. She's definitely a sassy and more dominant girl. Alina has learned commands quickly and is smart and driven. She's super food and toy motivated which makes training relatively easy and fun. She will need an active home that keeps her mentally and physically stimulated. Alina is a fun dog who has no fear issues, and with the correct training can be taken anywhere. We think she'll be about 50-60 lbs. full grown. She been spayed, has had 3 sets of vaccines including rabies, is microchipped and dewormed. If you're interested in a meet, you must fill out an adoption application on our website www.walllflowersshine.com/application. We always post videos of all of our dogs on our IG page, the_wallflowers_shine_project, under "stories" and "highlights". Thank you for your interest in one of our dogs.

Story
Malone is approximately 1 yo., 60 lbs. Malone is sweet and goofy and still has some of the puppy characteristics. However, in general he has a beautiful calm demeanor. Malone loves his walks and enjoys playing with the flirt pole or a good round of tug. He has a typical bully personality in that he's down for mostly anything active but then can also chill nicely and chew on a good bone. He can be a goofy boy who has some silly mannerism and loves a good snuggle with his people. Malone is potty and crate trained and walks fabulous on leash without many distractions. He knows basic commands. He does get excited when he sees other dogs on walks but we've been working with him diligently and he is doing well for the most part. We're looking for someone to continue with his training as he's gotten an awesome foundation. We've also started "place" work which has helped him with his impulse control. Malone does well with easy going dogs with slow introductions. We think he'd enjoy a female buddy in his home who is non-confrontational and chill but loves a good wrestle at times. All of our adult dogs are spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and flea treated. They all receive training to make the transition as successful as possible. If you're interested in a meet, you must fill out an application on our website www.wallflowersshine.com/application. Story
Hi, I`m Zack! I`m about 1 year old and weigh 65 pounds.*I am part of the Home for the Holidays adoption promotion so my adoption fee has been reduced to $50 until December 31. I would love to ring in the New Year with you!*** I still need to be neutered so when my forever family decides to adopt me, I will be placed on hold. Then you can come pick me up after my surgery. **Do you like...Dogs? I`ve been uncomfortable meeting new dogs at the shelter. Please bring any dogs in the home to meet and we`ll see if we hit it off!Cats? My history is a mystery, but staff suspect I might make kitties uncomfortable with my zest for life!Kids? I`d like to start out meeting kiddos old enough that I won`t accidentally knock them over 8+. Please bring any kids in the home to meet.Anything else you`d like us to know, Zack? I`m a super sweet, busy guy looking for some direction on how to be the best boy ever! I am working on jumpy/mouthy behaviors when I get overly excited, but I`m trying reeeeally hard to be better at it! I`d love to go on neighborhood walkies, day trips to the coast, and then snuggle up for movie night at the end of a fun-filled day.I came into the shelter as a stray and the above information is all recommendations based on my behavior seen at the shelter. I have no known history. Expect to learn more about me after adoption. It is unknown how this animal will do in their new home as all animals can be different with each person. It is important to take this into consideration when thinking about adopting and making sure you are prepared to work with any potential medical or behavior issues that occur after adoption. My adoption fee includes my spay/neuter, current vaccinations, permanent microchip identification, certificate for a free veterinary exam, post-adoption support and more!Thank you for taking the time to learn a little about me! If you think we would be a good match come on down and ask to meet me! I`m looking for my forever home and it could be with you!ADOPTION INFORMATION: If you live in the city of Eugene or in Lane County you will be purchasing a dog license in addition to the adoption fee. You will get to choose between a one year, two year, or three year license. This pet is located at Greenhill Humane Society. 88530 Greenhill Road Eugene, OR 97402 (541) 689-1503. Hi, I`m Fiyero! I`m 2 months old and I currently weigh almost 11 lbs! I am a young puppy and I still have a lot to learn! I need a family that has time to train me and interact with me. My new family should be prepared to take me to puppy training classes to help me master the basics. It is important for me to continue socializing so I grow up to love children, adults and other animals.Greenhill is committed to my continued growth and success, which is pretty cool! For this to happen, my post adoption training is crucial. It is very important to consider puppy training classes and to educate yourself on proper training techniques as to ensure my best upbringing.I came into the shelter as a transfer from another shelter and the above information is all recommendations based on my behavior seen at the shelter. Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Meet Tyson, affectionately known as "TY TY BOOTY," a 3-year-old pit bull who is really starting to come out of his shell. Tyson has a laid-back demeanor but enjoys a playful romp with other dogs in a little pittie rumble. While he hasn't shown off any zoomies yet, his curiosity keeps him eager to explore. Tyson is incredibly food and treat-driven, quickly hopping into his crate at bedtime in anticipation of a reward. Though he doesn't like being left alone and prefers to stay close to his people, Tyson is a sweet-natured pup with a hint of puppy mischief. He has a particular fondness for oven mitts and the occasional Amazon package, but with a bone to chew on, he settles down quietly. Tyson has been an easy foster. He might be a bit anxious around small children and large crowds but is wonderfully gentle with his foster family's 13-year-old autistic son. Tyson is looking for a loving home where he can be a loyal and wonderful companion. To see more pictures and videos, copy and paste this link.
