Story
Pacha is a four year old female with a huge heart and incredible intelligence. She is loyal and needs some one just as loyal to her training. She has a strong desire to be obedient, she just needs the correct companion who has the time and love and can work with her one on one. She is so playful and loves the beach and running through the woods, she is high energy and a lot of the time. She will make a beautiful companion and she already has. Unfortunately, I believe, there are too many animals and humans for her to get what she needs. Her dominance comes in with other dogs and so her being the only dog or maybe the first at home before others are brought in would be the most suitable for her. Again, if the time is available for her to receive the attention and training she so desires, she will make one amazing companion. Loyal is the best adjective I could use to describe her and she deserves the same loyalty in return.

Story
Sammy is an approximately 2 yo. 60 lb., playful girl. Sammy has come to us pretty insecure but has gained confidence through her training and is doing fabulous. Sammy loves to play with toys. She loves to chase and tug and play with the ball. She's probably one of the most play driven dogs we've had so her adopter must enjoy fulfilling that drive. Once Sammy has had a good play session and some nice walks, she settles nicely with a good chew bone in her crate. Sammy walks well on leash, does well in her crate, is potty trained, knows general obedience, as well as the "place" command. We're looking for adopters who want to continue her training as well as provide her with the structured environment she's had at our rescue. She thrives in such a setting. Sammy is also very affectionate and loves a good snuggle session. She's a people dog who enjoys just hanging out with them, in typical pittie fashion. Sammy is a medium energy dog with a general calm temperament. She loves going on hikes and rides very well in the car. She does well with other friendly and respectful dogs. She was unsure of them when she came to us but slow introductions with our wonderful helper dogs have given her the ability to feel more comfortable and confident around them. She's been doing great with dogs her size. She doesn't quite know how to play properly but is slowly figuring it out. All of our adult dogs are spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and flea treated. They all receive training to make the transition as successful as possible. If you're interested in a meet, you must fill out an application on our website www.wallflowersshine.com/application. We always post updates and many videos of our dogs on our IG page, the_wallflowers_shine_project, under “stories” and “highlights”. Thank you for your interest in one of our dogs.

Story
Alina was born around 05/15/24. Her siblings were adopted and now it's time for this sweet girl to find a home of her own. Alina is incredibly sweet with people and dogs, loves to learn and train, and is very energetic. She loves nothing more than to play, either with the flirt pole, play tug, or fetch with her favorite ball. She enjoys playing with her male and female canine fosters and adapts nicely to their play style and energy. Alina has not shown any interest in our chickens or cats but will need a home that understands how to set boundaries so she understands what's expected of her as she grows into an adult dog. Alina does well in her crate, is potty trained, and is learning how to nicely walk on leash. She adores the people she knows and is an eager and quick learner. She would excel in a home that loves to train; she is smart and driven. Alina is also super food and toy motivated which makes training easy and fun. She will need an active home that keeps her mentally and physically stimulated. We think Alina would do best in a home with teenagers and no small children. She can be unsure of strangers and will need adopters who understand how to guide a young dog into becoming the best version of themselves We think she'll be about 55-60 lbs. full grown. She been spayed, has had all vaccines including rabies, is microchipped and dewormed. If you're interested in a meet, you must fill out an adoption application on our website www.walllflowersshine.com/application. Thank you for your interest in one of our dogs.

Story
Saphiria was found on 3/28/25 at The Laundromutt on River Rd & E Hilliard Ln. She came into the shelter not yet spayed. If you believe this is your missing dog, please contact the shelter at (541) 689-1503. Since this dog is new to the shelter and we are still looking for their family, they are not viewable on the adoption floor at this time. The shelter staff is giving me some time to settle in and adjust to this new place. As we get to know each other a little better, the behavior team and veterinary staff will then be evaluating my needs. Please stay tuned for my updated information! Our shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs can be unreliable and for most dogs we are only guessing at their primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label. This pet is located at Greenhill Humane Society. 88530 Greenhill Road, Eugene, OR 97402 (541) 689-1503. Story
Hi, I`m Paprika but some call me Pappy! I`m about 2 years old and weigh 45 pounds. I have a medical waiver staff can discuss further with you about me.** I still need to be spayed/neutered so when my forever family decides to adopt me, I will be placed on hold. Then you can come pick me up after my surgery. ***I am relaxing in a foster home while I wait for my family to come adopt me. If you would like to meet me, please call 541-689-1503 x104 to schedule an appointment.*Do you like...Dogs? I have been very indifferent to dogs here at the shelter and prefer to play with my human friends. Please bring any similar size dogs to meet me!Cats? It is unknown how I would do with cats but I do have a high prey drive so slow intros would be an absolute must.Kids? I came into the shelter very nervous and scared. It would be best if I went to a home with older kiddos who can respect my space and give me time to come out of my shell. (13+)Anything else you`d like us to know, Paprika? I absolutely LOVE playing fetch and being around my favorite humans! Once I warm up to you I am the sweetest girl around.I came into the shelter as a stray and the above information is all recommendations based on my behavior seen at the shelter. I have no known history. Expect to learn more about me after adoption. It is unknown how this animal will do in their new home as all animals can be different with each person. It is important to take this into consideration when thinking about adopting and making sure you are prepared to work with any potential medical or behavior issues that occur after adoption. My adoption fee includes my spay/neuter, current vaccinations, permanent microchip identification, certificate for a free veterinary exam, post-adoption support and more!Thank you for taking the time to learn a little about me! If you think we would be a good match come on down and ask to meet me! I`m looking for my forever home and it could be with you!ADOPTION INFORMATION: If you live in the city of Eugene or in Lane County you will be purchasing a dog license in addition to the adoption fee. You will get to choose between a one year, two year, or three year license. This pet is located at Greenhill Humane Society. 88530 Greenhill Road Eugene, OR 97402 (541) 689-1503. Due to some jumpy/mouthy behaviors I`m working on, I`m looking to start meeting kiddos 10+.Anything else you`d like us to know, Titan? I`m a sweet boy who will lean into you for big snuggles.
