She is very fast at learning agility commands and would be the next champion, kid you not. Transferred in on June 7th from the Yreka Shelter. Excellent leash walker. Very loyal, but guarded due to history of abuse. Warms up very quickly with treats. Very well behaved at Animal Veterinary Hospital in Ashland, OR. Fully vetted. HW and parasite negative. On HW prevention and flea tick prevention. Free lesson provided. Travels well in cars and without a crate! Loves long walks/jogs. Loves to swim! Learning cats and dogs. Story
Ella is an extra-special girl! She is spunky, goofy, determined, and very affectionate. She loves her toys, special treats, as well as playing in water! She even does a very cute happy dance around her favorite things! How cute is that? She has had some positive experiences with other dogs so she may do well with the right canine companion! Little Ella came to us as a young pup who had clearly already had a tough start to life. She had been surrendered to us because the family couldn't afford her vet bills after she suffered a prolapse. This young girl was pretty shut down when she first arrived but once she got comfortable and showed her silly, playful side we could see she was extra special! We don't quite know what the clinical diagnosis would be, but Miss Ella is definitely neuro-diverse. She doesn't have the same attention span as your typical dog and she tends to bounce around and move her head in figure 8's.  Ella has certain long-term fears and boundaries that would make her best suited to a family with people who will respect her and take their time with her. She is filled to the brim with love and joy for life, she just needs the right person to come along and take her to paradise! Are you looking for an extra-special dog to be your couch or walking partner? Then call the Ranch to meet Miss Ella today! Thank you for considering adopting a Rescue Ranch dog. While they are with us, each and every rescue dog receives the best of care in a loving and nurturing environment. Their routines include daily playgroups or partnering with dog buddies, quality time walking or being groomed, and two meals a day with dog biscuits for dessert. All of our dogs receive the best in veterinary care and are spay/neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, and fully vaccinated.  The standard adoption donation fee for all dogs and puppies is $300 (unless a reduced fee applies )  APPLY NOW       November 6, 2024, 10:05 pm
