This dog is a courtesy listing (not in the AARF program) but we will be reviewing applications and helping the owner find the right home for BINGO. Please visit http://aarf-tn.com/adopt/adoption-app/ to apply. His adoption is FREE to approved home. Looking for a loyal companion? Meet Bingo! This 2-year-old mix of American Pit Bull Terrier, Australian Cattle Dog, and American Staffordshire Terrier will win your heart with his devotion and playful nature. Weighing in at 40 pounds, Bingo is a medium-sized bundle of joy who loves nothing more than to play fetch and chew on his beloved stuffed toys and Nylabones. Bingo's unique charm shines through in his quirky habits. He absolutely adores ice cubes and will eagerly run to the fridge with you for a treat. He also has a soft spot for pup cups from Starbucks. Despite being mostly deaf, Bingo is a smart cookie and responds well to hand commands like place, sit, down, and stay. He's a graduate of The Dog Wizard of Knoxville, and his training can continue with his new family. Bingo is fully potty trained and will ring bells hanging on the door to let you know when he needs to go out. He's also crate trained, making bedtime and alone time a breeze. Although he enjoys the company of his person, he can be a bit anxious around sudden movements due to his hearing loss. Bingo thrives in a one-person household where he can be the star of the show. If you're ready for a sweet, smart, and devoted companion who will bring joy and excitement into your life, Bingo is the perfect match for you. Give this lovable pup a forever home where he can truly shine!    Interested in adopting? A.A.R.F. is comprised of unpaid volunteers and survives only on public donations. Thank you for thinking adoption first! Prior to adoption, all canines and felines are spayed or neutered, have received their age appropriate vaccinations, have been de-wormed for common parasites, and have received treatment for prevention of fleas and ticks. All canines over the age of 6 months have been tested for heartworm. All canines are put on heartworm prevention as soon as possible - this means dogs as soon as they are tested negative. I'm independent but I also love cuddles and being loyal to my human friends. I'm energetic, always ready for a game of fetch or a walk in the woods. Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Quick details: * 1.5-year-old, 43lb, spayed female * Loves people!!! * Loves other dogs * "Voted the most popular girl on the playground" at the SC shelter * Loves to get pet and cuddle on the couch * Tolerant of vet exam handling * A little anxious when in kennel suite/separated from her people * Active, energetic, happy girl! Zora is around 1.5 years old, 43lb, spayed female, originally found as a stray in SC. We pulled her from the urgent list and she made it to NH on 11/17. Zora is looking for a home where she can be cuddled all the time because it's her very favorite thing to do. This girl is energetic and can be a bit anxious, but she calms right down and melts once you start petting her. Due to some suspected separation anxiety (has improved with medication), we think she would prefer someone to be home most of the time, or she's also happy to accompany you out and about. She's a great combo of being an active girl, calm when out in public, but also happy to lounge around with an antler to chew on. Zora is dog friendly! She's very polite when greeting other dogs and loves to run and play. She hasn't shown any reactivity around other dogs. She has not been tested with cats and we have no history of her with cats. She's solid and strong, so no young kiddos in the home would probably be best for now, just because she might accidentally knock them over (she likes kids though). Zora was in the SC shelter a long time, so she will need understanding and continued guidance on manners and living in a house at first. She's now potty trained but will likely need a refresher once in a home with a new routine. Oh and did we mention she's stunning?! And SO soft! Story
Melinda comes to us from SC where she was listed as urgent at the shelter after somehow getting overlooked for a year - despite being good with dogs, cats, and kids! She’s about 2 years old and 40lbs. She's potty trained but will of course need to learn the routines of her new home when adopted. She’s friendly, sweet-natured, playful, curious, rides quietly in the car, loves toys, is attentive and eager to learn. Melinda would thrive in a home with other dogs and children. She is playful but respectful of the cats in her foster home. Melinda can scale a 4' chainlink fence and shouldn't be outside unsupervised. Story
Hello, my name is Choco. It kind of sounds like taco. I am a friendly gentle, outgoing guy who loves all animals. I love humans and car rides too. A great day for me with be one with my human either hanging around the house or adventure wither on a walk, by car or watching a movie together. I do this cute thing where I like to move the bowls as "settle hints" that they are empty. The humans think it's hilarious. If you let me, I will snuggle up next to you on the couch and pretend to be a tiny dog that can fit in your lap. I am house and crate trained, pretty amazing on leash, so they say. I can play on my own or with others too. The rescue is not sure how we haven't found a family for me. They say I am a great dog and think maybe it's because my size, but hopefully someone who is a match for me and loves my SUPER HANDSOME smile will come along. If you are interested in me or would like to learn more about me, please complete the app below. https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/NAF/Dog I am located in San Antonio, TX, but a video meet and greet is available. Transport is included with out of state adoption along with health certificates for transport. I will be fully vetted to age, spayed/neutered and microchipped.
