Belle is a beautiful 20 month old piti mix that was adopted at 12 weeks old from Arkansas. She is the sweetest girl. She loves her humans more than anything and will do anything she can to please you. We have 2 grown cats that she does amazing with. We also have an 8 year child that she is amazing with. She’s an absolute love. Our only concern for her is that she is reactive with other dogs. It’s more defensive than anything, but it’s become a serious issue with her and our other female dog. With our male she does a lot better. We feel that Belle would be much better off as an only dog so all the attention and love can be focused on her. I’m so absolutely heart broken to rehome her. I just want her to have her chance to shine without the anxiety of other dogs constantly around.

Meet Tica, a stunning 4-year-old Blue Tri XL Bully with a heart as big as her warm personality! This gentle, 50-pound Pitbull mix has a charming, submissive nature and gets along wonderfully with other dogs and children. While we haven’t seen her around cats, Tica’s calm demeanor suggests she could adjust well with a proper introduction. Tica’s journey to us was a tough one. She was found abandoned and tied to a parked vehicle with a horse lead, without food, water, or shelter. By the time our Animal Control Officer arrived, the lead had tightened painfully around her neck, leaving a fluid-filled knot. Fortunately, her previous owner surrendered her to avoid cruelty charges, and Tica is now safe with Critter Cavalry Animal Rescue. Due to family connections of her former owner, Tica needs a loving forever home outside of her previous home area. This way she can enjoy a peaceful, fresh start. Despite her difficult past, Tica’s resilient spirit and gentle heart shine through and she’s ready to bring boundless love and loyalty to her new family. As a Middle Tennessee-based 501(c)(3) animal rescue, Critter Cavalry’s mission is to save high-risk animals like Tica and find them homes throughout Tennessee and the northeastern U.S. We travel north each week, bringing these wonderful pets closer to a new life.
