Story
Meet Knipsey 🐾 Knipsey is a 5-year-old, loving, playful, and cuddly. Born on 8/15/2020, we’ve had him since birth. Knipsey has a great balance of energy and chill — he loves to play, go for walks, ride in the car, and play fetch, but he’s also perfectly happy being a couch potato if you’re up for snuggles. He knows basic commands, respects boundaries (like “off” and “do not cross”), and does well kids. He would do best in a house with older kids due to his size, is okay with younger kids, but would require additional supervision. Knipsey generally does well with other dogs, though he would likely thrive as the only dog in the home or with proper introduction best paired with female dog. Had previous dominance problem with a male dog in the home. Due to having two babies in the home we can no longer give Knipsey the time, attention, and activity he deserves. This decision is incredibly difficult, and our goal is to find him a home where he can continue to thrive and be deeply loved.

Story
Elsa is approximately 2-3 years old and about 50 pounds. She is deaf but that doesn’t stop her from playing with other dogs and learning commands through sign language. She is very treat motivated and loves to be around people so training comes easy for her. Her food motivation has made her a little protective during feeding time and will need to eat and enjoy bones separate from other animals. She has really enjoyed playing with her foster brothers and has learned a lot from them so having a fur sibling would be good for her, but not required. She likes to chase cats so a home with no feline friends would be best for her. Elsa is very social and has been known to jump a fence to say hi to her neighbors so she will need to be supervised when outside. This sweet girl loves unconditionally and with all of her heart; if you can provide a safe, deaf-friendly home for her please fill out an application today! The suggested adoption fee for Elsa is $315. Bullies-N-Beyond ResQ Inc. is a 501(c)3, non-profit corporation that is 100% volunteer operated. Adoption donation fees are the primary source of funding for the cost of veterinary care for our animals. All dogs adopted through BNBR will have been administered their age appropriate vaccines which may include DHPP, Rabies, Lepto and Bordetella. All dogs will also be adopted out as already altered if of age, for those not of age, a voucher will be provided. The adoptions for all of our animals will take place in the Omaha, NE area and must be done by the adoptive family in person. We do not ship or deliver. BNBR does not adopt on a first serve basis. All available dogs are adopted based on their needs to provide the best fit home. ##1802192##

Story
Luna, a Pitty mix, was on the euthanasia list at an Oklahoma shelter before Bullies-N-Beyond ResQ saved her so that she can become a valued family member of some lucky family.  Her birthdate is November 2, 2022. Luna is a sweet, fun-loving girl who plays well with all the dogs she meets.  She truly loves all people, including children. She enjoys playing tug-of-war and playing with toys, which typically means pulling out the stuffing and squeaker.  She is somewhat timid around loud noises, such as when kids are playing basketball or volleyball.  Luna knows how to sit, lay down, and shake with both paws. She is potty and crate trained.  She enjoys eating and loves treats. This sweet girl will make a great companion for some lucky family out there! The suggested adoption fee for Luna is $365.  Bullies-N-Beyond is a 501(c)3, non-profit corporation that is 100% volunteer operated. Story
Major is a 5-year-and-4-month-old Bully mix, tug-toy connoisseur, and slow-living enthusiast who has been with us since 7/9/2022. If you’re looking for a dog who blooms under structure, adores predictable routines, and gives his whole heart to the person he trusts, Major just might be your guy. Major has had a couple of concerning bite incidents in the past—one involving a surprise encounter (based on the information we were given) prior to his arrival at Town and Country Animal Rescue (TAC) and another involving an unsolicited bite to a volunteer at TAC. While the reasons weren’t entirely clear, what was clear was that Major needed more support than we could provide on our own. So we partnered with a professional trainer, and for the last three months Major has been putting in the work. And wow—has he grown. Under leadership, Major absolutely thrives. He responds beautifully to clear communication, calm handlers, and environments where he knows what to expect. He’s come leaps and bounds in training, showing us every day that he wants to succeed and that he’s capable of being an incredible companion in the right home. Major’s ideal lifestyle? - Slow-paced days - Predictable routines - Low traffic housing (no apartment/shared living building spaces)  - A human he can depend on And above all else… his beloved purple tug toy (seriously—this thing is his personality at this point) To give Major the very best shot at success in his new home, his adoption will include a required training component: - One session per week for four weeks with Major’s professional trainer - At no cost to the adopter This ensures a smooth, supported transition and keeps Major practicing the skills he’s worked so hard to build. Major is the type of dog who bonds deeply, listens intently, and puts in genuine effort when he feels safe and understood. He’s not a “wing it” kind of guy—he’s a “give me a plan, give me a leader, and I will give you everything I’ve got” kind of dog. After over two years in the shelter, Major is more than ready for his chance. If you’re experienced, patient, and looking for a loyal, structured companion who will reward your consistency with devotion (and spirited tug sessions), Major may be the perfect match. Come meet him—and don’t forget the purple tug toy. Part of Major's adoption has been sponsored, so his adoption fee is $100 and covers age appropriate vaccines, a microchip, and a spay/neuter. We're open from 12-4 PM Tuesday - Saturday! Did you know you don't need to have an appointment to visit our available cats and dogs***? Simply drop by and if you find a potential new furry friend, you can fill out an application on the day you visit. Go to townandcountryanimalrescue.org to fill out our digital application. Applications are typically processed in 3-5 business days. Once you're approved, you can return on the date and time set up by your adoption counselor, with your family and pets for a meet and greet. If it goes well, you can take your new best friend home on the meet and greet day! ***Please note that animals in foster homes cannot be viewed at our rescue, and appointments are still required to meet them. Muddy Paws is a 501c3 non-profit organization meaning that part of your donation MAY be TAX DEDUCTIBLE. We are a 100% volunteer rescue committed to giving animals a second chance at life. All donations go toward that mission. Adoption fees are the primary source of funding for the cost of veterinary care for our animals. In 2022 alone, we provided animal Healthcare totaling over $399,000 covered mainly through adoption fees.  Please Note: A Courtesy Post designates that an animal is still in the home of its owner and not in a Muddy Paws foster.  This means that our exposure to the animal is limited since we only assist the owner in finding a new home for their  pet. From time to time, owners find a new furever home for their pets outside of Muddy Paws Last Chance Rescue, and there is a delay in removing them from our site. We apologize if the Courtesy Post you apply to adopt is  unavailable for adoption.  Information about the adoption process: All adoptions require a completed ADOPTION APPLICATION.  Once your application has completed our prescreen steps, we will put you in touch with the animal’s foster  to see if you and the pet are a good match. If so, we will arrange a meeting for you and the animal. The  adoptions for all of our animals will take place in the Omaha, NE area and must be done by the adoptive  family in person. We do not ship or deliver. Please Note: We are a RESCUE, which is different from a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal  reference checks, and a Home Visit (Virtual in some cases) during the application approval process. We  always select the right applicant for each animal, based on the animal’s needs. If you and the animal are  not a good match, we will help you select another animal, or we will keep your approved application on file  for 6 months.  To learn about Muddy Paws Last Chance Rescue or donate to our animals, please visit our website at  MuddyPawsSecondChanceRescue.com or our Facebook Page Muddy Paws Second Chance Rescue  Inc.      ##2514122##

Story
Norah is the sweetest pup! Her demeanor and personality are that of a playful, happy go lucky dog. She loves car rides, playing with her people and all the attention. She has a cute way of pawing at you when she wants your eyes on her or just simply pets. She is super easy as far as listening and obeying goes. She responds to kennel up, stop, no, sit, shake and lay down (especially for treats! and she loves Dentasticks!). She sleep and snores through the day and requires a couple stints of play time through the day, twice for 20 minutes or so, especially in the evening. She is ready for bed by 9pm and will snore the night away! She is a great addition to any household as she loves everyone, as long as they give her plenty of attention! She is a loving, snuggly, all around perfect pet! ##2161123##

Story
Biggie is a handsome fella who had one heck of a rough start to life.  He was surrendered to a partner shelter due to landlord issues.  Even entering the building then was hard for him--the slip leash going over his head was terrifying and doorways posed a challenge.  Over the next couple of days, he remained extremely guarded with physical touch and new items like microchip scanners entering his space.  With time, he began to settle in with the staff and volunteers, leaning into them for love when out of his kennel.  Unfortunately, a hectic shelter was not a place where he could succeed.  We were contacted as he began bar biting, painting his kennel, body slamming his door and showing more fear when in his kennel. Biggie was extremely shy/reticent when he was transported in to our foster--he slept in the car but required patience and lots of treats when trying to move from vehicle to vehicle, extremely unsure of the situation.  He allowed us to get a BullHug on him, again with lots of patience, and headed to his foster home.  Within a few hours, after a quick bath outside, Biggie's puppy side came out--he couldn't get enough of zooming around the yard and playing with the water! Biggie had been reported to be ok with dogs his size and larger but has shown reactivity to a neighboring lab and with a golden.  At this time, we believe Biggie would be best as an only dog, ready to receive all of your TLC as he comes to know and trust you. Biggie has done well with school-aged and older children but has not been exposed to cats or younger kids.  He's a full-sized guy with lots of energy so smaller kids may be inadvertently toppled over in his excitement. Biggie, like many bulldogs and squishfaces, has demonstrated some fall allergies and is currently on Apoquel and the normal bulldog skin care routine to keep his paws, ears, and facial folds in tip top shape! ##2566390##
