Story
Diamond presented to a local veterinary clinic with a broken leg. Then she was abandoned by her owners while receiving treatment. Diamond came to CNHS when her leg was healed. She may walk with a limp on her left front leg, especially after being more active. She will need x-rays in June 2025 as a recheck since she was so young when the injury occurred. Diamond will likely develop arthritis in her left elbow. Adopters are encouraged to discuss the situation with their veterinarian to come up with a plan for supplements or medications as Diamond ages.

Story
I named him Oliver and we call him Ollie! Such a happy boy, now that he is healthy again. He came from our local pound and not feeling great. He was given some medication and then off to the Vet to have vaccinations and neutering. He is doing great. Ollie is a medium sized male with a handsome grey brindle coat. Ollie has the greatest personality. He plays like a puppy, so surprised when the Vet said he was around 2 years of age. Ollie does great with other dogs and is usually out and about with 4 or 5 at a time for exercise. He loves to play with his friend, Oggie and of course any human that will take time to notice him. He is fine when left outside on the farm and doesn't bother anything. We think he was in the house at his previous owners, as he loves to stand by our door and wait to be invited in.

Story
We adopted Millie about 10 months ago from Capital Humane Society. She is approximately 3 years old, but we dont know for sure, as she was a rescue. She had been rescued from a hoarding situation with approximately 8 other dogs in the home. We chose Millie because when we went to meet several dogs, she immediately just dropped into our laps and wanted to be held. Her only goal in life is to be loved and be near her humans. She has been great with our 3 year old daughter, but she just doesnt have good spacial awareness when it comes to her, and she is 70lbs of muscle. She frequently knocks her over, not intentionally, she just doesnt realize how big she is and our daughter is very easily put off balance. Again, this is no fault of hers, Millie just thinks of herself as a small lap dog. Millie would do great with kids that are just a little bit older/bigger than what our daughter is.

Story
Everyone needs a little bit of Rocco in their life. This sweet guy is something special, he loves to make funny faces, he has legs like springs and the cutest different colored eyes. When Rocco spends him time outside he has to sniff every square inch and once that`s over he loves to show off his speed and crazy vertical! He gets along with everything and is looking for a forever cuddle buddy, he is very well behaved and wanted everyone to know that!
