Story
Kane is a 7 year old pitbull bulldog mix he is a very sweet boy but sadly suffers from seizures. He has some permanent damage to his eye sight and at night has accidents because he still has small seizures while he sleeps. Unfortunately because of his eye sight he scares very easily and is uneasy on his feet. He will need a quiet patient home with no small children. I wish we didn't have to rehome him but w several small kids 1 being autistic the noises and quick movements scare him and he gets very defensive growling and barring his teeth because he can't see them. Our home is no longer what is best for him and we want him to have a happy quiet life

Story
Nova is approximately 8 months old and about 50 pounds. I adopted her from a puppy rescue in NY where she was transported to from the south at 4 months old. I do not have much history other than coming from the south, but in the time I’ve known her she is a sweet girl-loves to give kisses on your face, loves being around people, loves a good adventure and then sleeping under the blankets with you at night. Unfortunately, I have several cats in the home whom she chases constantly causing a lot of stress in the household. She is a very social dog, she LOVES other dogs—I have spoken with a trainer and she would really benefit from a household with a household with another dog. She engages in some boredom behaviors like destructive chewing and pacing, likely due to boredom. I just cannot provide her with the lifestyle she needs. She requires a home with: •An experienced adopter willing to train •fenced in yard •dog companion •no cats/small animals in the home

Story
Hallå! I'm Freya and true to my name, I'm an absolute goddess of love! Socializing with people, going outside for walks and romps in the pen and playing in the water are just some of my favorite activities. I can be a bit wary of men at first, but I warm up quickly, and have no issues with new women at all. I was brought to Berkshire Humane Society when my previous housemate (another unspayed adult female) and I would get into scuffles, usually resulting in minor injuries for me, and our owner could not manage to keep us separate anymore. Since coming to the shelter, I've made many human friends, but need a home without any other dogs. I also can't live with cats as I have a bit of a prey drive. I settle nicely in my kennel with an occupier, but can be a tad vocal when I can see my people from my kennel, but can't get to them. What can I say? I just want to be with my human friends as much as possible! Dogs: NoCats: NoKids: Teens & upWeight: 46If you think I could be a good fit for your family, please call the kennel staff at (413) 447-7878 ext.126 to learn more about me and how to meet me!

Story
Good day, my name is Beethoven and similar to my namesake, I am quite the musical guy! I loooove to sing and can be a little loud in my vocal expressions, so a house setting would be best for my new home. That said, I sing mostly because I want to be with my people and don't really like being left behind. I'm not at all destructive, fully housetrained and eventually settle down and take a nap, especially if I have a stuffed Kong or other sort of occupier to take my mind off that I'd much rather be out having adventures with my humans. I love to go out on walks, cavort around in the pen and would make a wonderful hiking buddy! I have a very high prey drive when anything moves fast. Because of this I would do best in a home with no other animals. I'm a solid guy, both physically and emotionally, and could use to stand to lose a few pounds to take some pressure off of my joints. I've lived with kids before and could potentially live with kids 10+ again. Could I be the perfect new furry family member for your life?Dogs: NoCats: NoKids: 10+Weight: 78.7Please contact kennel staff at (413) 447-7878 ext.126 to learn more about me and how to take me home!

Story
Hello, my name is Mina. I'm the sweetest old lady you will ever meet! Some of my favorite activities include going out for walks, romping around the pen, meeting new people, giving kisses, and snuggling on the couch all day. Even though I'm an older gal I still have some pep in my step! I would do great with a couple walks a day and then I would be fine to sleep the rest of the day away. I am completely deaf and due to this when I am left alone unfortunately, I scream and sing at the top of my lungs. I would love a home setting, no apartments, where I can be with my people often. I also unfortunately do not enjoy the company of other animals and must be the queen of my castle. I could live with respectful kids 8+ and am mostly housetrained but do have accidents occasionally. If you think I could be a good fit for your family, please call the kennel staff at (413) 447-7878 ext.126 to learn more about me and how to meet me! Dogs: NoCats: NoKids: 8+Weight: 33
