Pickles is a very special boy. My boyfriend and I had him and his twin brother since they were babies unfortunately the relationship has ended and my boyfriend can only keep one and I cannot have a dog where I am going. He is a very sweet boy once he warms up to you. We don’t have children so he is not kid friendly he also has high anxiety so it takes him a while to trust but once he does he is a huge lover. He would be best for quiet home with older people who loves to give attention and lots of belly rubs. He is house trained and extremely smart he knows sit and lay with just hand movements he says please and thank you also. He is not a car happy boy and does get car sick on long rides. He’s ok at the vet but needs meds when it is nail clipping time. He loves to talk and will have full conversations with anyone willing to listen. He is good on a leash and loves walks. He loves to sleep under the covers rolled up behind your legs and keep you warm all night.

**IN FOSTER**Govida came to TJO as a very nervous stray, but once she settled in and became more comfortable, she proved just how much energy she had! She can still be nervous when meeting new people, but given time she can warm up quick. She loves to jump, and can reach some pretty impressive heights, so a tall fence is a must for anyone looking to meet her! OTHER PETS:Godiva is enthusiastic and overexcited when meeting other dogs. This energy can be a bit much for most dogs. She does well in play groups with other dogs but we anticipate she would do best as an only pet. NO CATS [Should Be Only Pet]OWNER EXPERIENCE:Godiva would do best with someone who has experience handling large, energetic dogs with positive reinforcement, as she does pull strongly on the leash and can get overexcited. [Experienced]KIDS: Because Godiva is a strong dog that doesn't quite understand boundaries yet, she would do best in a home without any kids. She's jumpy and can get overexcited easily, and she's uncomfortable with some types of handling, so an adult with experience and confidence in handling would be best for her. Her favorite toy is tennis balls; she enjoys collecting them, fetching them, chewing on them, and sometimes tearing them open.
