Story
Bandit's adventure spirit brings joy to everyone in his life. Though dealt a bad deck of cards previously, this awesome dog is living his best life.  The injury is unknown, and we were never able to get any real information, so we just concentrate on his care.  Our doctors all agree he is not in pain. We just keep him comfortable and enjoying life.   Bandit likes playing with the other dogs, he is super fast on his wheels and loves to go on runs thru the woods. He is a champion cuddler.   He will come with his chair and ski mods, and we can do some training if you are wanting to adopt this special guy, but are not sure about the aids and how they help with the day to day.  He doesn't need his chair all the time. He spends most of the time out of it, actually.  He has some use of his legs, and gets around the yard quite well.  Check out his videos! Here is what his foster mom has to say:  Sweet and pretty chill. Lots of naps and doesn’t like getting off the couch in the mornings lol he gets zoomies like other dogs just a little wobbly lol. Loves car rides and his daily walks. Gets along with other dogs. Will chase cats.   The adoption fee is $175 and Bandit has all his vaccinations, microchip, neuter and more. ##940630##

Story
Hello to Henry! Senior Big Guy, looking for companionship Current Rabies, DPPV, Bordetella, Microchip and Neuter Good with Dogs and the kiddos Pass on cats Adoption fee is $50    Henry came up from southern Utah to get the much needed vet care he deserved.  Surrendered to the shelter and being a senior, Henry wasn't getting much attention and so we went to work.  A collaborative team of volunteers drove Henry 900 miles for him to come in thru the barn doors.  His foster parents went to work on helping him settle into a new life, a loved life. He slowly began to relax and find peace and comfort.   On November 21st we removed his tumor and made sure he was current on all vaccinations.   Now Henry is ready to find his forever home. Ideal home has lots of attention for Henry. He prefers to be under your feet at the table and next to you when watching TV. This senior guy does great left alone for the work day but wants all your time once you get home. He does have old timer issues, such as his back legs are getting weaker. He would benefit from someone home part time, or a doggy door available.   Please keep in mind when adopting a senior, its about the quality of time you give them, so they are not in the shelter.   ##2213501##

Meet Handsome Havre! Mixed Breed Espescial, Approx 2yr Neutered Male, 42lbs Good with other dogs, Cats unknown.   High energy and ready to go burn off some calories with you Adoption donation is $200   Stuck in doggy jail, Havre did what had to be done to get sprung!  He got sick...  We whisked him out of the shelter to Emergency Veterinarian for heavy blood loss from his rectum.  Fortunately, this seemed to be more of a colitis attack from kennel stress and we ruled out blockage and injury to anal glands.   Upon landing in foster, Havre began feeling more at ease and the bloody events came to a stop. We have learned about Havre's needs, wants, and dislikes over the last month, along with getting him updated with vaccinations, microchipped and neutered.  Havre is house trained, uses the doggy door and has good crate manners.  Havre is more of a home body and prefers to play and please his peeps over adventuring into the world unknown. Prefers slow introductions to new people and is ready for basic obedience to become the best boi!  He has become quite comfy in foster, and we know he will do the same with you.   ##2267186##

Story
My name is Patton! I came in through local animal control. I am nervous of new people, but after some treats and gentle pets I`ll be your best friend! I do well around other dogs my size, however I cannot go to a home with cats or other small animals. I need a home with no young children. I love being with my friends and getting lots of hugs and kisses. I will need a very confident and experienced owner!! Before considering adding me to your life, make sure you have the appropriate amount of time, space, and resources available to care for me for my lifetime. I can`t wait to meet my forever family!

Hi, I`m Xena and I was an owner surrender because my owner didn`t have the time or space for me. Strangers tend to scare me, but once I get to know you, I`m very lovable and playful. I have a lot of energy to work out throughout the day but I also love cuddling! I would do best in a home as an only pet with lots of space to run and play.

Story
Meet Lyla – A Gentle Soul Looking for LoveHi, I’m Lyla. My past is a bit of a mystery since I came in through my local animal control, but one thing is for sure—new people can be a little scary for me. I may take some time to warm up, but once you earn my trust, I’ll be your most loyal and loving companion.Because I can be a bit nervous, I’d do best in a home without small children or small animals. I’m not sure how I feel about other dogs yet, but if you have a pup, we can set up a meet-and-greet to see if we get along! The best way to win my heart? Spending quality time with me and playing with my favorite stuffies! Those little moments help me feel safe and loved, and before you know it, I’ll be by your side forever. I’m a gentle sweetheart who just needs a patient and understanding family to help me feel secure. I also have a very high prey drive when it comes to birds. If you have the time, space, and love to give, I’d love a chance to be your forever friend. Could you be the one for me?

Story
This is Nilly. My daughter is extremely heartbroken to have to give her up, but we can't keep her for her when she goes to college, and we decided it was best to find her a home before then. Nilly has the biggest smile and a total sweetheart. She's roughly 8 months old and will cuddle you to death. She does have of a lot of energy, so a fenced yard would be great for her! She does great with cats, children, other dogs, and people in general. She comes with a lot of toys, her kennel, and her current bag of food. We rescued her from a really bad situation when she was 2 months old and have dewormed her and given her her first set of shots. We were waiting to Spay her until after her first heat, so she is unaltered. We really do love her, but we will not be able to afford to keep her and my daughter can't keep her in a dorm. She is ALWAYS smiling. We will honestly miss her when she goes to her new Furever home.

Welcome the Baby Bears! These little fluff beasts came from a feral dog colony in central Washington. They were born on 01/01/2025, ringing in the new year in a pile of garbage on a vacant porch.  They have been DNA tested and are a mix of American Pit Bull Terrier and Siberian Husky among other breeds. Feel free to explore their profile here: http://embk.me/smokey1515?utm_campaign=cns_ref_dog_pub_profile&utm_medium=other& These puppies are going to be hearty with tolerance for a broad spectrum of weather. They will be independent and strong minded, and in adulthood they may be wary of unknown people. They have thick dense coats and will require professional grooming to avoid matting and impaction of undercoat. Because they come from a multigenerational dog colony where minimal social interaction occured, special care must be taken to acclimate them to bodily handling and experiencing social settings throughout adolescents.  Yogi is a confident and collected puppy with a big personality. He checks out new stimulus with a level head and a lack of fear. He is the only short coated puppy of the litter but still has a very dense double coat and will be a heavy shedder who benefits from routine brushing and professional grooming to blow out his undercoat.  Each puppy is well on their way to the good life. They are accustomed to wearing a collar, are crate trained, litter box trained, and have begun house training. They have experience with dogs, cats, kids, car rides, hiking, and public settings. The Baby Bears will come spayed or neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and dewormed.  The adoption fee is $300 and includes a leash, collar, ID tag, food sample, medical records, and some bonus goodies. To be considered to adopt, please begin by visiting www.murcismission.org and sending in an application.  ##2288993##

Because they come from a multigenerational dog colony where minimal social interaction occured, special care must be taken to acclimate them to bodily handling and experiencing social settings throughout adolescents.  Paddington is a beautiful puppy with crystal blue eyes and a thick long sable coat. She is cautious but curious about the world and likes to hang back and watch new things before committing to investigating further. She will need routine brushing and professional grooming to keep from becoming matted.  Paddington has a profound overbite and will need dental surgery once her adult teeth grow in so that her lower canine teeth are not penetrating the roof of her mouth. Murci's Mission will sponsor this care and Fozzie will go home with a medical waiver for dental evaluation at 8-12 months.  Each puppy is well on their way to the good life.
