Story
What`s up, I`m Sully. I came in through my local animal control so my history is a mystery. My new pals don`t know how I`ll do with children or other animals. I do still need to be fixed before you can take me home, BUT you won`t regret it! I am a super sweet boy and I already know several commands, for the right price ;) I am going to need some more training cause I am a strong willed big lug sometimes. I love people and I am really nice, I just need some strong hands that are willing to take the time to teach me how to be a good boy. SO, before we can be best friends for LIFE! Please make sure that you have the proper time, space, and resources to care for me for the rest of my life.

That lovable, gorgeous lady is named Elvira! Elvira is a mellow, relaxed and well behaved angel with so much love to give. She’s wonderful with children, and a very affectionate girl, we think she would make a wonderful family dog! Elvira weighs in at a lap sized 62 pounds, she’s estimated to be 2 years old. We think she’s an American Pit Bull Terrier, Staffordshire Terrier mix, but she is a rescue so these are just our best guesses! Meet Elvira here: https://youtu.be/WM-nF_KJ2hE?si=JymGMktK8SEaeYrt Elvira is a dream with other dogs, playful, tolerant and sweet. Elvira has a wonderfully bouncy playstyle that always gets the other dogs playing! She’s a very inclusive player and she makes an effort to involve every dog. She is respectful if they decline to play, but it’s very sweet to watch her bounce around the yard, making sure every pup is included in the pawty! With humans, Elvira is naturally loving. She warms up instantly, and melts into your touch. She’s gentle and sweet with everyone she meets, kids included! She’s spent time with large groups of elementary schoolers and she’s been perfect. Here at the rescue, Elvira was cat tested and passed with flying colors! She is cat-tolerant and could live with dog savvy kitties, making her perfect for any animal lover’s home. Elvira is so well behaved and obedient. She does well on the leash, and bonds with her people through walks. She auto-sits for treats and toys. She’s a total dream! Elvira is medium energy, too, so a few walks or some outdoor playtime are all you’ll need to keep this happy girl healthy. Elvira could do well in just about any animal lover’s home, she would love to be a family dog and a friend to your kids! Story
That adorable “forever puppy” face belongs to none other than Mitch. Mitch is a mellow, sweet boy with a tender heart. He’s so relaxed and gentle, we think he would make a great companion dog for a retiree or a homebody type. He has the cutest little jaunt when he runs, and gives the sweetest, tiniest kisses. Mitch weighs in at a lap sized 54 pounds, We think he’s an American Pit Bull Terrier, Mastiff mix, but he is a rescue so these are just our best guesses! Mitch is built like a big teddy bear with stocky legs, a big block head, a squishy face. We estimate Mitch’s age to be just around 1 year old. Meet Mitch here: https://youtu.be/3NDkNlsPwnI?si=sA0JaXOZmgUE0VF3 Mitch is a dog’s dog, friendly with every dog that he meets. Here at the rescue, Mitch gets along with every dog that we put him in playgroup with! He’s respectful, and gives space, but he’s also playful and loves to chase. He has a very gentle playstyle with other dogs, so he’s never intimidating to the others. Mitch is small dog friendly, a perfect fit for any pack! Mitch has been cat-tested here at the rescue and does well with kitties! He’s cat friendly, a perfect fit for any animal lover’s home. Mitch is really well behaved, he does pretty well on leash already and is kennel trained. Mitch loves his kennel and very much sees it as his own personal bedroom! Mitch is actually so dog friendly that he, while here at the rescue, would routinely serve as an assessment dog. This means that Mitch would greet new rescue dog intakes, teach them that the rescue is a fun and safe place to be, and show us their doggy social skills. Mitch is a doggy-superhero and has saved dozens of canine lives this way! With humans, Mitch can be a little shy at first, but some quality time and soft gentle voices will warm him up to you pretty quickly. This sweet boy has such a tender and soft side to him, you just have to wait out the shyness. Once you’ve won him over, you’ll have a best friend for life. Mitch could do well in just about any animal lover’s home. We think he would do best in a home with another dog, he gets a lot of confidence from other dogs, and does best with new people when other dogs are around. We are willing to test Mitch with anything you may need to ensure that he is a perfect fit for your family, home and life. We can make most anything happen. Just let us know! Story
Meet Milo! He is currently 13 pounds, about 4 months old, and we think they may be a Pit Bull mix, but with rescue it’s a guess! What matters most is that they are adorable and are one the MOST desperate in the entire US based on statistics for where this puppy is from. Shelters in this area are having to euthanize puppies. So, this puppy needs you! If you choose a puppy from this rescue, it saves his life as well as the life of another in its place. Milo is playful, sweet, curious, and cuddly. He loves to play and chase after his toys, but shortly after he will find a cozy spot and be in a deep sleep. Eat, sleep, play, repeat- such is puppy life! He gives the best puppy kisses and will be your shadow. He has a calm demeanor and is easily corrected. His perfect home will have at least one loving human to call his own, but given his age, he is not too picky about the rest! He is just ready to call a home his! He loves to watch the dogs he is currently fostered with to follow their lead in learning. He will smothered kids with kisses and is very gentle. Milo is currently fostered in a home with three other dogs. Please feel free to reach out to his coordinator with any specific questions about Milo! We are willing to test this dog with anything you need us to in order to ensure he is the perfect match for you! We can make anything happen! Just let us know. Milo is still young so they will need a family that can commit to training, socialization and all the dedication puppyhood requires. He is still learning house manners and basic commands, but has so much potential to be trained. His new family will need to continue with potty and crate training and daily exercise. We require a commitment from adoptive families to crate train their new puppy. When old enough, they will be perfect to go on walks and hikes or show off around your neighborhood. You will be guaranteed to get lots of kisses in return from your new best friend! Application link: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/67338b81352df4dab1010147 Please email gabriella@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions. Available for adoption in NV, MT, CO,UT, ID, OR, WA, Canada, and now the East Coast! Our PNW dogs are brought to you in style by a beautiful USDA licensed semi-truck, equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and 2 onboard attendants providing 24 hour care. Our East Coast route will travel in a private, air conditioned 3LP-run van transport. Pick up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private FB Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. One of our Adoption Coordinators can help to find the closest transport pick up location to you! The adoption fee is $900.00 and includes all vetting as recommended by our doctor: DAPP (2 to 4 depending on age and time in the program), Bordetella, Rabies vaccine (if old enough), multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, 2 months of heartworm preventative, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship! *WE ARE TOLD THAT WE GO ABOVE AND BEYOND MEDICALLY. This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health. *To fully vet a dog in the PNW or the NE at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations. Your adoption fee is considered a donation towards actual costs. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 6 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below! https://www.threelittlepittiesrescue.org/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $74 surcharge for transport. Do you love hugs, snuggles and kisses? Dakota might be the one, then! This adorable girl is so loving, loyal and easy going. Knowing Dakota, it will be love at first sight when she meets her forever family. Dakota is estimated to be around 1 year old and currently weighs in around 50 pounds. We think she’s a pittie mix of some sort, but she is a rescue, so these are just our best guesses. Fall in love with Dakota here: https://youtu.be/K1F9xWkkhQc?si=pR5rub6e-RSLZEPW With other dogs, Dakota is tolerant and sweet. She is currently fostered in a home with multiple other dogs and does well. She has a preference for mellow dogs like her, and she finds small dogs to be a bit pesky. We think she could thrive in a home with other dogs, or as a solo-dog, soaking up all of your adoration. Dakota is cat tolerant and could live with dog savvy kitties. Her foster mom reports that she is kennel trained and potty trained. She’s pretty easy on leash, and so friendly with everyone that she meets that taking her out and about will be no problem! Dakota is very attentive, and likes treats, so any future training will be enjoyable and rewarding for both of you. Dakota loves squeaky toys, and the pool! We think Dakota would make a great family dog, though we haven’t had the opportunity to see her with children yet. She’s just so patient, gentle and tolerant that we have a feeling she will do well. (We can kid-test upon request!) Dakota is so quiet and well behaved that she could definitely be an apartment dog. With any questions, please reach out to her adoption coordinator, whose email is linked below. Story
Spotty is quite literally begging to be a family dog. Spotty was found by his rescuer… in her own home. Spotty was just a cute little stray, meandering around town when he stumbled into a 3 year old’s birthday party. He crashed the party, and when a party guest left the back door open, Spotty invited himself in and made himself at home! Spotty is now the best of friends with the 3 year old birthday boy, and currently being fostered in their home with four other dogs and a kitty. We think Spotty is a Pit Bull Terrier mix of some sort, around 50 pounds and estimated to be 2 years old. Spotty is an affectionate and friendly boy that loves belly rubs and snuggles. Meet Spotty here: https://youtu.be/lTnptVucpWs?si=ADVF-DIbeEkNEUXb Spotty’s foster family consists of four dogs, ranging in size from chihuahua to husky, a kitty, his doggy foster parents and their three year old son. In this home, Spotty lives like a welcome guest, mingling with the other animals and getting along well with everyone. He sleeps in his crate and his foster family reports that he is fully crate trained. They describe him as “sweet and playful,” a good boy to his core! Spotty loves to play fetch with his humans, and loves to play in water. He’s a fun time boy looking for a family to love him forever. With new people, Spotty is friendly and easy going. He greets new friends with tail wags and smiles. He’s pretty easy on leash already, and with a little polishing he’ll be perfect! He’s great in the car, but a little bit of a roamer, so his foster family crates him for car rides. Everything about Spotty indicates that he’ll be a perfect little adventure dog. Take this guy to the park, events, concerts and watch him steal hearts! We know that he’d love to attend your birthday party! Here at the rescue, we double checked all of Spotty’s social skills and he did wonderfully with everyone! Our rescue has a 2 acre property in Texas where we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group trainings and socialization play groups to keep dogs adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers support the positive growth of our dogs and we enjoy seeing their progress! Our commitment to comprehensive medical care sets us apart. We've received glowing feedback from veterinarians who commend our dedication to ensuring the health and well-being of every animal in our care with treatments that often go above and beyond. Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet. The rescue’s hard costs alone for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,120. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that Three Little Pitties Rescue is not government funded. It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these SPECIAL PERKS: ● Extensive behavioral testing and information from trainers on our staff to ensure the perfect fit for your family ● Discounts on Embark DNA test kit- $30 off of Breed ID test & $50 off of Breed ID plus Health test ● 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion ● A free private online dog training session with GoodPup, plus low pricing for future sessions ● 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a delicious PNW based fresh dog meatballs subscription ● Coupons for a fun visit to Petco ● 20% off of Dr. Cuddles pet first aid and hygiene solutions ● Discounted heartworm, flea prevention, and monthly dewormer ● Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! Did you know that the Greater Houston area faces some of the highest stray and overpopulation rates in the nation? We are a non profit charity. Our goal is simple— to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and by rescuing animals from the streets or overcrowded shelters where euthanasia due to lack of space is often the only option. The dog you've found online is not only lucky to be in our program, but also incredibly fortunate to have caught your eye. Thank you for considering adoption and for joining us in our mission! Follow our rescue journey and connect with us on our website and social media platforms. Together, we can make a difference, one adoption at a time. https://www.threelittlepittiesrescue.org/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue Ready to welcome a new furry friend into your life?
