Story
Sasha is a really good dog, but is young and has tried to run off to explore the neighborhood which makes me anxious since I live in a busy Street. I initially took her in until I found her a good home. Unfortunately I just got my skin test for allergies that have gotten worse since. I also feel horrible because I cannot pet her and cuddle with her. My children provide her lots of attention, but she would do better in a different home where her owner could show her love and the attention she deserves.

Story
Skylar is just about the best dog ever! She is calm, sweet and listens well. She lives to please you! She is good with other dogs and gentle enough to be with children. She is crate trained and good on a leash. Skylar came into rescue after being attacked by a much bigger dog in the home. After spending 4 days in doggy hospital, her owner did not want to take her back to an unsafe home. After a short stay in the county shelter, she finally found her way to FOCCAS rescue. It took awhile, but she has healed now. Her attack hasn't caused any lingering effects. She is a happy, grateful dog. She will be a loyal and loving companion for any family or individual.FOCCAS is a foster based, non-profit rescue in Crossville, TN. The adoption fee Includes Age-Appropriate Vaccinations (DA2PPV, Bordetella, Rabies), Deworming, Spay/Neuter, Microchip, Flea/Tick/Heartworm Prevention, and Sheltering. Adult Dogs are Heartworm Tested and Treated as Needed. FOCCAS does not DNA test or guarantee breed. Story
ALL our cats and dogs are in the NY area but can be adopted out of state to the purrfect furever home.  In some cases, we can help transport.  Zani's al fresco Summer Adoptions  follow us on FB to find us this summer as we will try new locations to meet the needs of NYC and support the little stores:)     Anyone who follows Zani's Furry Friends ZFF knows we love to take in handicapped dogs & Cats. Eliza will be our 1st young toothless Pup. Meet 2yrs old 37lbs Eliza from Albania.Great with dogs and kids. Eliza was abused on the street. People threw stones at her & her puppies, she was starved and ate rocks. Thankfully Mija Resuli rescued her. She's Super super sweet. She can’t live on the street without teeth. So she’s in the shelter now. We are hoping to get her here in January & looking for a foster or an adopter before she gets here.  All dogs are located in NY/NJ area All our puppies need puppy play dates/doggy facetime so we recommend homes with other pups or daily interactions to keep them tired out, happy and social.  Facebook: Zani's Furry Friends ZFF (weekly adoption event info posted there) Twitter: zanisff  Instagram: zanisfurryfriends   Dogs are spayed/neutered, UTD on age appropriate vaccines, Rabies vaxed, and microchipped (not Lyme vaxed but we seriously recommend it!)  All are in the NY/NJ area but we will adopt out of state to the purrfect home and in some cases, we can arrange transport.  Please go to our site  https://zanisfurryfriends.org  fill out an application  Many of us (cats/dogs) will be on display on Saturdays or Sundays, weather dependent--please ask by writing us at dogs@zanisfurryfriends.org and following us on FB. If you are seriously interested in adopting one of us in particular, please fill out an application early Friday so that we can be sure to be there. Otherwise we decide based on other variables. Usually we are in our foster homes so this is a bit more stressful and a slightly artificial environment but we do want to be seen and find our furever homes too.   Please consider providing a home for more than one dog, especially if you are considering adopting a puppy. Dogs are pack animals and very much enjoy as well as need other dog company to learn to play, socialize and be good companion animals to people. The upside to this is that you won't feel as guilty leaving them alone and you get twice the love. Please come! And if you can't adopt, maybe you can foster or volunteer, and you can always donate! If you want to know about cats/dogs specifically being shown at our adoption locations, please email us info@zanisfurryfriends.org closer to the date so we know your interest and will make every effort to have that pet at the event or let you know how and where you can meet.  It is extemely helpful and speeds up adoption if the application is filled out prior to visiting us so please do that before coming to our weekend events. Our weekend locations are: Saturdays or Sundays, weather dependent  Follow us on FB, Zani's Furry Friends ZFF, for latest updates. Usually we are in our foster homes so all this is a bit more stressful but we do want to be seen and find our furever homes. Please come! And if you can't adopt, maybe you can foster or volunteer. And you can always donate:) Cats and Dogs are spayed/neutered, UTD w/ all age appropriate shots and microchipped. Cats are feline combo tested for FIV/FeLV; dogs are heartworm tested and rabies vax'd, (NOT lyme vaxed but we seriously recommend it); rabbits are spayed/neutered. Please fill out an application and email to: For Cats: cats@zanisfurryfriends.org For Dogs: dogs@zanisfurryfriends.org For Rabbits: nyc.acc.rabbits@gmail.com. Please visit our website zanisfurryfriends.org.

Story
How many dogs named Lola are there ??? How do you get seen on a sea of Lola's and Pitbulls? She is not another Lola! She is a solid, super friendly, playgroup star dog! If you are familiar with how dogs play, this is your girl! Have another 40lbs or bigger? She is your match! Lola loves other dogs, plays nicely with everyone and does not care if one barks, growls or charges at her. She is a lover not a fighter. We believe her previous owner mistook dog play for agression. Dogs rumble and tumble, pretend to bite but never hurt each other! They play and take breaks. Lola has been great with everyone she meets including kids. Adopt at allpawsondeck.org female, spayed, 2 years old (presumed) , up to date medically. Meet Lola! This 1.5-year-old spayed female is the perfect mix of playful and relaxed, weighing in at a cuddly 70 lbs. Nicknamed "Bouncing Bunny" for her joyful spirit, Lola brings sunshine wherever she goes! She loves to lounge in the sun and snuggle up for cozy downtime, but she's just as happy to show off her playful side. Lola walks well on a leash, making her outings enjoyable, and her friendly nature means she gets along well with people and other dogs. However, due to her size, she may not be the best fit for homes with cats or smaller dogs-no one likes getting squished during playtime! This lovely girl adores belly rubs and will gladly show off her "sit command for extra scratches. She's also fully potty trained, making her the ideal companion for any family. If you're looking for a loving, adaptable companion to brighten your days and cozy up with at night, Lola is ready for her forever home. Interested in adding Lola to your family? Visit www.allpawsondeck.org to apply! Adoption Requirements: - Applicants must be at least 21 years old - Complete an application at www.allpawsondeck.org - All current pets must be spayed/neutered and up-to-date on vaccinations - If adopting a pet that is not yet altered, a $100 deposit will be required at the time of adoption. This deposit will be refunded upon proof of spay or neuter. This dog is a courtesy listing (not in the AARF program) but we will be reviewing applications and helping the owner find the right home for BINGO. Please visit http://aarf-tn.com/adopt/adoption-app/ to apply. His adoption is FREE to approved home. Looking for a loyal companion? Meet Bingo! This 2-year-old mix of American Pit Bull Terrier, Australian Cattle Dog, and American Staffordshire Terrier will win your heart with his devotion and playful nature. Weighing in at 40 pounds, Bingo is a medium-sized bundle of joy who loves nothing more than to play fetch and chew on his beloved stuffed toys and Nylabones. Bingo's unique charm shines through in his quirky habits. He absolutely adores ice cubes and will eagerly run to the fridge with you for a treat. He also has a soft spot for pup cups from Starbucks. Despite being mostly deaf, Bingo is a smart cookie and responds well to hand commands like place, sit, down, and stay. He's a graduate of The Dog Wizard of Knoxville, and his training can continue with his new family. Bingo is fully potty trained and will ring bells hanging on the door to let you know when he needs to go out. He's also crate trained, making bedtime and alone time a breeze. Although he enjoys the company of his person, he can be a bit anxious around sudden movements due to his hearing loss. Bingo thrives in a one-person household where he can be the star of the show. If you're ready for a sweet, smart, and devoted companion who will bring joy and excitement into your life, Bingo is the perfect match for you. Give this lovable pup a forever home where he can truly shine!    Interested in adopting? Take the first step and complete an adoption application on our website: http://aarf-tn.com/adopt/adoption-apps/ If you have questions that are not covered in the profile, visit the Pet Inquiry Form: http://aarf-tn.com/contact/pet-inquiry-form/. THIS PET IS FOSTERED IN TENNESSEE! We do list and adopt our pets nationwide. Typical transport cost to the Northeast is $180. Due to interstate adoption regulations, we are not able to adopt to RI and MA state residents. A.A.R.F. (All About Rescue and Fixin' Inc.) http://aarf-tn.com/ is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) no kill animal rescue organization located in the Upper Cumberland area of Tennessee. A.A.R.F. is comprised of unpaid volunteers and survives only on public donations. Thank you for thinking adoption first! Prior to adoption, all canines and felines are spayed or neutered, have received their age appropriate vaccinations, have been de-wormed for common parasites, and have received treatment for prevention of fleas and ticks. All canines over the age of 6 months have been tested for heartworm. All canines are put on heartworm prevention as soon as possible - this means dogs as soon as they are tested negative. Puppies are put on prevention immediately. All felines, regardless of age, have been tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV. Each animal receives a health check by a licensed veterinarian prior to adoption. Anything else found will be treated by our organization prior to adoption. November 6, 2024, 2:12 pm

Pocket sized bulldog mix with great Corgi type ears! Very friendly girl who listens well. She is good in her crate. Loves to go for long walks and car rides! Ginny is not high energy. She would do well with an older person/persons who has a fenced yard where Ginny could get out of the house to take care of "business"
