Story
Meet Misty, a lovely three-year-old pit mix, weighing in at 50 lbs. With her soulful eyes and the sweetest smile, she’s sure to melt your heart. Rescued in November 2023 after being hit by a car, Misty endured a tough start, but her spirit remains unbroken. Despite wearing a harness, no one came to claim her, and she’s been patiently waiting at the shelter for her furever home ever since. Now healed and ready for her next chapter, Misty is an incredibly sweet, friendly, and loving dog. She adores belly rubs and will gladly spend all day on her back soaking up affection. She also enjoys walks and is always excited to meet new friends along the way. Misty is a happy soul who thrives on being around people and has a personality that lights up any room! Well-mannered and attentive, she listens beautifully and knows how to sit on command. She's also learning "stay" and "down." Misty has shown her gentle nature by doing wonderfully with children of all ages, even babies! When it comes to other animals, though, she prefers to be your one and only. She is not a fan of cats and tends to prefer calmer dogs. Misty is currently working hard on her housetraining and is eager to become the perfect family dog. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will fill your home with joy and love, Misty is the one for you! Her adoption fee is $400 and she is vaccinated, microchipped, spayed, and will be receiving treatment for heartworm. If you are interested in this cutie, please complete the application at form.jotform.com/200883908893166. For questions, email info@happilyfureverafter.org.

Story
Meet Rocco, a four-year-old, 60 lb. blue nose pitbull with a heart as big as his paws! Recently surrendered to our rescue due to financial hardship, this resilient boy has battled skin issues for years. But with the right care and love, he’s now on the road to recovery—his fur is growing back, and his playful spirit is shining brighter than ever! He’s currently looking for a foster or adopter as he’s in boarding awaiting his next chapter. Rocco is the definition of a social butterfly. He’s incredibly sweet, affectionate, and always eager to make new friends—whether they’re people, dogs, or even cats! He previously lived with children ages 4-10 and was an absolute gem with them, making him a fantastic family dog. He also loves to romp around the yard and play with his toys, bringing joy and energy wherever he goes. Not only is Rocco lovable, but he’s also super smart! He knows an impressive list of commands, including sit, stay, wait, room, bed, kids’ rooms, outside, bath, pee, poop, come, lay down, toy, and num num (treat). He’s fully house and crate trained, making him an all-around dream companion. He’d love to find a home with a fenced yard and a family ready to take him on endless adventures. Rocco is ready for his second chance at a furever home—could that be with you? His adoption fee is $400 and Rocco is vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm negative, and neutered. If you are interested in this lovely lad, please complete the application at form.jotform.com/200883908893166. For questions, email info@happilyfureverafter.org.

Story
Meet Parker, a resilient and lovable two-year-old, 55 lb. pit mix who has waited far too long for his second chance. He spent an entire year in a rural shelter with little to no visitors, patiently hoping for his happily furever after—and now, his journey to a loving home has finally begun! This handsome boy is a pro on leash and adores going for walks, exploring new places, and playing with his favorite toys. Parker is full of personality and wins over everyone he meets with his friendly and affectionate nature. He’s incredibly smart, treat-motivated, and eager to learn, always striving to please his people. He forms strong bonds quickly and wants nothing more than to be by your side. Parker enjoys running around and will keep your yard free of any unexpected visitors—whether that be deer, squirrels, or other little critters! He’s both house and crate trained, but since he spent the past year in a kennel, he’s still learning some basic manners. He can get a bit jumpy and mouthy when overly excited, but with patience and guidance, he’ll continue to improve. He plays hard and sleeps even harder! He rides great in the car and is always up for an adventure. Parker did well with other dogs in the shelter but will need slow introductions to build his confidence and may require multiple meet & greets if there is another pup in the home. He met children at the shelter and did well, but he has never been around cats. Parker is a loyal, loving, and fun companion who just needs a family to call his own. Could you be the one to give him the life he’s been waiting for? His adoption fee is $400 and Parker is vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm negative, and neutered. If you are interested in this lovely lad, please complete the application at form.jotform.com/200883908893166. For questions, email info@happilyfureverafter.org.
